The use of profanity has always been, within the world, I am sure. Yet, it is essential that man come to an understanding of its harshness!
So offensive is profanity, that is similar to fingernails on a chalk board! For those who are to young to know what a chalk board is, it is a razer burn! It resides and offends. It leaves behind a degredation of character, and piercing of the ear drums! Profanity is thought of as ‘cool’ by the unbeliever, He who wants to be accepted within the world! Christ is not of the world! He who follows Christ must pick up his cross daily! That is why, what is acceptable to the world is in many ways ‘profanity’ to Christ!
In the Book of Sirach: Chapter 23 verse 15
“A MAN WHO HAS THE HABIT OF ABUSIVE LANGUAGE WILL NEVER MATURE IN CHARACTER AS LONG AS HE LIVES.”
JESUS SPEAKS: LUKE CHAPTER 14 verse 27
