FACING TRUTH

God holds each of us in the palm of His hands.

Within the midst of His hands resides the ‘Body of Christ.’    The movement of each soul within the ‘Hands of God’ are dictated by the ‘spirituality’ of each soul that resides therein.

God does not dictate our every step!   His desire is that we desire Him above ourselves!    When we awaken our ‘spirituality’ by embracing the ‘Body of Christ’ as our Lord and Savior’   we have entered into the midst of the “Hands of God”…The Heart of Jesus Christ!   For Jesus Christ has been and always will be.   He resides with the “Love of God”.   Upon the creation of mankind, the Body of Christ became revealed through the Love of God!

The Love of God is constant!    However, this great love can not be recognized and realized with out the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!    Why?    Because Jesus Christ is the love of God incarnate!   To reject one is to reject the other!   It cannot be done!   God will not allow it!   He has manifested Himself within the world through His Son!  To change the thinking therein, is to deny the wishes of God our Creator!

The Love of God through His Son Jesus Christ is consecrated within the embracing of this realization!    Father, Son and Holy Spirit, are ONE!!

To come to the fullness of Life, God must be embraced!   Embracing Him, is allowing the full desire of God to be called upon, and willed first above all things!!

When this is done…He reveals the sins, and indiscretions of us all!   We cannot come to fullness of Life if we are not willing to face the sin within!   The God of us all, desires this!    For in this comes the realization of the frailty of ourselves!

The desire to be in control, is absolute!   We all have it!   Yet, submission to God through Jesus Christ brings forth the awaking of a ‘New Person in Christ!’   He becomes alive and centered above all things within.   Thereby restoring  what sin had  destroyed!

The ‘spirit’ that gives ‘life’ is always there.   Yet, the awakening of ‘life’ awaits the call of us all.

Is it easy?   No, life is not easy!   Yet, it  comes to ‘fullness’ when Jesus is at the helm!    He is built upon daily through prayer and supplication.   This is building up the ‘Body of Christ’!

Book of Matthew: Chapter 17 verses 5-8

5)  “He was still speaking when suddenly a bright cloud overshadowed them.   Out of the cloud came a voice which said, “this is my beloved Son whom my favor rests.   Listen to him.”   6) “When they heard this the disciples fell forward on the ground, overcome with fear.   7) Jesus came toward them and laying his hand on them said, “Get up!   Do not be afraid.”   8) “When they looked up they did not see anyone but Jesus.”

Book of Matthew: Chapter 18 verses 2-4

1)”Just then the disciples came up to Jesus with the question, “Who is of greatest importance in the kingdom of God?”    2)”He called a little child over and stood him in their midst 3) and said, “I assure you, unless you change and become like little children, you will not enter the kingdom of God.   4) Whoever makes himself lowly, becoming like this child, is the greatest importance in the heavenly rein.”

WALKING WITH CHRIST

When walking with Jesus, and He is your very best friend, and every thought resides around Him, then you know you’re in love!

For to walk with Jesus and talk with Jesus as you do your best friend, He is listening!

When Jesus speaks it is to your heart.   He very quietly and beautifully impresses upon you His desires.   He does this in such a way that you can not help to understand it is from Him.    This is the presence of Christ within the believer.

He does not impose Himself upon anyone, but waits to be called upon.    This is knowing Jesus,  trusting Jesus and loving Jesus.

Each is~His Own Best Friend!

This incredible love is His alone to give!   Not many choose to follow this friend, and allow this friend to be their Savior.    For that is what He is; He saves throughout everything in this life.

We all know there are many many situations that come upon us, and we find ourselves at a loss as what to do; Jesus when called upon has it handled.

So I ask you, ‘who is your best friend’?    Who comes through for you, when you need someone?    With Christ there is no mistaking, He is there.   You need only to ask.

Is He first to You?      His spirit is the ‘eternal life’  everyone needs and wants.    Jesus is waiting.

Is Jesus your everything?   Can people who meet you tell by your actions?   Jesus Christ is a living  experience.     When something lives, it must be nurtured and loved!

This incrediable love is His alone!

Book of Matthew: Chapter 19 verses 27-30

27) Then it was Peter’s turn to say to him; ” Here we have put everything aside to follow you.   what can we expect from it?”   28) Jesus said to them:   “I give you my solemn word, in the new age when the Son of Man takes his seat upon a throne befitting his glory, you who have followed me shall likewise take your places on twelve thrones to judge the twelve  tribes of Israel.   29) Moreover, everyone who has given up home, brothers, sister, father or mother, wife or children or property for my sake will recieve many times as much and inherit everlasting life.    30) Many who are first shall be last, and the last shall be first.”

Book of Matthew: Chapter 18 verses10-14  Jesus Speaks!

10) ” See that you never despise one of these little ones.   I assure you, their angels in heaven constantly behold my heavenly Father’s face.

12) ” What is your thought on this?   A man owns a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away; will he not leave the ninety-nine out on the hills and go in search of the stray?   13) If he succeeds in finding it, believe me he is happier about this one than about the ninety-nine that did not wander away.   14)  Just so, it is no part of your heavenly Father’s plan that a single one of these little ones shall ever come to grief.”

Faith!   Do you have it?

A FALL FROM GRACE

Comfort me O’God,  that my soul may be thy delight.   That within, My God, my sins may take flight.   For I know that I am but a sinner, and my thoughts are not always right.   But, before you my God, I place my plight.

I can not do it alone O’Lord; my heart is stirred and full!   I have lost my  way, I know not which way to go!    So, I cry to you O’God, ‘ do not let go!’  Your hand is all I have, your hand is all I know.   Your Holy Mountain is where I wish to go.

You are everything my heart desires, and my soul quakes at the loss of thee!   I can not breathe knowing, my sins may separate me from thee.   Call me O’Lord that I may be your own.  That nothing may keep me from your golden throne.

A fall from grace I can not bare.   Your light is but my own.  You, and  You alone,  can bring me home.   Oh Lord My God, may you never tire of me, for I know I am nothing separated from thee!

Act of Contrition:

O’My God, I am heartily sorry for having offended thee; and I detest all my sins because of thy just punishments; but most of all because they offend thee my God who art all good and deserving of all my love.   I firmly resolve with the help of they grace to sin no more, and to avoid near occassion of sin!   Amen!

REALITY CHECK

If you knew the gravity of the situation, would you address the problem immediately?   If I told you, you hold ‘life and death’ in your hands would you listen?

Life, and death are one.    We can not come into life without knowing death is facing us.   Yet, few address the ‘problem’.    Few consider that in life we are preparing for death.   Yet, how prepared are we?

If you wished to come and stay with me, and you knew only I had the keys, would you take time to find out the way to my house?   Or would you just presume you knew how to get there?

In this ‘modern world’, where if you have the address, you put it in your GPS and you have the answer, then no worries, right?

Well, heaven does not have an  address!   You can not get there by putting it in your GPS.   Have you asked?    Do you want to know the way?   Does it matter to you in the grand scheme of your life and death?

Death is imminent!   Absolute.   Only the directions home are not so easy.   It must be asked for!

Though we would all like to believe we ‘own ‘ heaven, that is not the case.

Really, people believe they own heaven.    That is why they do not put any magnitude into the equation.    The equation being, life!

God is great!   He loves us!   In loving us, He has taught us how to love.

The example:   Jesus Christ, loves the less fortunate.   The less fortunate being you and I.   Yes, we are the less fortunate!   For, we are invited to ‘His House’.   It is He who is King!   It is He who is the Son Of God!   It is He who holds the keys to the kingdom of heaven; and He who knows!   Knowing who knows Him, He decides who is invited in.

Are you invited in?     We can not know the way unless we ask!   No matter who you are, you need to ask!

For Jesus says, ‘ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock, and it will be opened to you.’    If you knew with certainty He was speaking about coming ‘home’ would you still be to arrogant to get on your knees and ask?    ‘Ask’ for forgiveness, and ‘seek’ Him out, so that He would show you the way home?   So that one day you may ‘knock’ on His door and He will say, Welcome Home!   I’ve been expecting you!   Rather than out of my sight you evil-doer, I know you not!

For we face good and evil in all things.   No matter what it is!   Satan destroys !   He lives to destroy, and takes delight in it!   He laughs at  disharmony and unrest!   This is His way!  Anything and anyone that God loves, He waits to destroy!   You must be on guard, and your soul must be protected by the ‘Blood of The Lamb Of God’!!   If it is not ‘protected’ by the ‘blood of theLamb’ then you have no shield!    You are in the battle of your life, and you are fighting alone!!

Jesus Christ is King!    The battle is for the Kingdom of Heaven!  You can not begin to know  how to fight,  if you have not called upon Christ!  you are lost!   He is the only way,  the way, the truth and the life!!

Book of John:  Chapter 14 Verses 5-8

5) “Lord, said Thomas, “We do not know where you are going.   how can we know the way?”   6) Jesus told them:   “I am the way, and the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me.   7) If you really knew me, you would know the Father also.   From this point on you know him; you have seen him.”

Book of Luke:   chapter 18 verse 17  Jesus Speaks:

17)”Trust me when I tell you that whoever does not accept the kingdom of God as a child will not enter into it.”

Book of Matthew: Chapter 10 Verses 37-40 Jesus Speaks:

37)”Whoever loves father or mother, son or daughter, more than me is not worthy of me,  38) He who will not take up his cross and come after me is not worthy of me.  39) He who seeks only himself brings himself to ruin, whereas he who brings himself to nought for me discovers who he is.   40) “He who welcomes you welcomes me, and he who welcomes me welcomes him who sent me.”

Book of Matthew Chapter 7 Verse 7-11 Jesus Speaks:

7)”Ask, and you will recieve.   Seek, and you will find.   Knock, and it will be opened to you.   8)  For the one who asks, recieves.   The one who seeks finds.  The one who knocks enters.   9) Would one of you hand his son a stone when he askes for a loaf, 10) or a poisonous snake when he asks for a fish?  11)  If you, with all your sins, know how to give your children what is good, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to anyone who asks him!”

Book of Ephesians: Chapter 6 verses 10-17 Christian Warfare

10) “Finally, draw your strength from the LORD and his mighty power.   11) Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil.   12) Our battle is not against human forces but against the principalities and powers, the rulers of this world of darkness, and evil spirits in regions above.   13)  You must put on the armor of God if you are to resist on the evil day; do all that your duty requires, and hold your ground.   14) Stand fast, with the truth as the belt around your waist, justice as your breastplate, 15) and zeal to propagate the gospel of peace as your footgear.   16) In all circumstances hold faith up before you as your shield; it will help you extinguish the fiery dart of the evil one.   17) Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, the word of God.”

TEST OF FAITH

Have you ever wondered why some peoples prayers seem answered and others do not?

It can be for a number of reasons to be sure.   However, it’s very important to have purity of heart!   What is purity of heart?   Purity of heart is no anger, no malice, no hostility, no ill-will  harbored within the heart! For then a separation of the spirit occurs, leaving a ‘void’.

Yes, God is listening!   However,   it imperative to have contrition of spirit for ones sins, when entering into the countenance of the ‘love of God’!   Why?   Because God is love!   God’s love is so ‘big’ that he sent us Jesus to prove this point!   A very part of Himself to express loving, as He does!

So Why contrition of spirit?   Because the teachings of Jesus Christ are based on a foundation to living that is different than that of the worlds’!

So, if   you are embracing the world, and all of its contraband, and considering yourself  ‘cool’  and worthy of your request, then you are off track!    Then the spirit within is in conflict of the ‘Holy Spirit’!   God is a lover of humility.    When we come to the Father and desire ‘His Help’ then we must have humility in our supplication.   This is the desire of the ‘childlike’ to the Father!    The Father that gave us life.   The Father who gives, but desires our hearts first.   If you are not contrite,  then your desire is ‘above’ that of the Father!    The Father is ‘above’ us, and deserves the adoration first!   When our Heavenly Father is first and the contrition of spirit is in place, then our Heavenly Father hears and answers.

When our Heavenly Father answers, it is not always the answer we desire.   However, because He is so great, He gives us the grace to bare the answer.     He will extend to us, someone or something to bless us in other ways!    This is the love of a Father to His Child!!

So when your faith is tested, and the ‘hurt’ is so real, and it seems there are no answers….then call upon our Heavenly Father!   His love is perfect!    Perfected through His Son Jesus Christ!    To know the love of the Father, call upon the Son, and find the love that surpasses all understanding!

Book of John: Chapter 5 verses 36-40   Jesus Speaks:

36)”Yet I have testimony greater than John’s, namely, the works the Father has given me to accomplish.   These very works which I preform testify on my behalf that the Father has sent me. 37)   Moreover, the Father who sent me has himself given testimony on my behalf.   His voice you have never heard, his form you have never seen,    38) neither do you have his word in your hearts because you do not believe the One he has sent.   39)   Search the Scriptures in which you think you have eternal life-they testify on my behalf.   40) Yet, you are unwilling to come to me to possess that life.”

How does one come to Christ?   Accepting Christ as Lord and Savior is asking Him to come into your heart, with contrition of spirit!   Then Jesus will make you ‘a new creature in Christ’!

Then reform your life!   Choose to pursue ‘holiness’!  Reject sin in all its form.   The seven deadly sins are core to Satan’s claim upon ones soul.    They are: Pride, covetousness, Lust, Anger, Gluttony, Envy, Sloth!   Then after learning them, apply the ‘Ten Commandments to your life!    Then the ‘transfiguration’ that Jesus speaks about will manifest itself within you, and you will become a ‘new creature in Christ!  Praise God!   For there is nothing better, nothing greater, and nothing more powerful ! !

READY OR NOT

When we were children, ‘Hide and Go Seek’ was one of the best games we played!   In some ways people are still ‘playing hide and go seek’.    They believe that no one sees !

We all know there is always ‘peaking’ going on!   There are those who believe anything goes!   Fair is Fair!

Wisdom sees beyond the present, and enlightens us to consider the long term effects of our actions!

God, though present in all our actions and knowledgeable in who we are, and who we are going to be, allows us ‘free will’!

Free Will is: No regard to the Father, and the life He ‘gifts’ us!

God, is the first person within the ‘Holy Trinity’! !    The very Spirit that breathes life into each  of us every day!

He, the same Spirit, extinguishes life as we know it!   It is His Life that breathes, shares, and blesses us!

As for life, and its blessings, we can only truly live life, if we ’embrace’ the Father who gives us life!   This incredible ‘person’ is so awsome that as with any relationship that grows, so does this one grow, when He is first  above all things!

God is taken for granted when His love is not embraced to the fullest degree!   His love must be ‘praised’ daily!   The praise we extend, the love we extend, and the nurturing He gives, is because of what we give to Him!    He  is so ‘over the top’ that the heart crys for more!    This is loving God!   This is growing ‘in love’ with God!   This is discovering God to the fullest!

Once one decides to embrace God and Love God, then the Spirit that breathes within ‘blossoms and grows’ much like that ‘mustard seed’ that Jesus Christ speaks of in His parables!   He, being the Son of God, the second person within the ‘Holy Trinity,  extends to us immeasurable gifts, because we choose to love the Father to the fullest as He did!

Because of this, God exults the Son, and the Son gives the ‘glory’ to the Father!   Praise God!   For through the countanance of the love of God, through the ‘Holy Trinity’ we are able to live life to the fullest!

The Holy Spirit, the third person within the Holy Trinity was the most prescious gift we were given from the Son!   For though the Son had already extended eternal life to us through His passion and death upon the cross, He desired to give us the ‘ever-lasting presence of God the Father;  He gave us the Holy Spirit!   The Spirit that leads, guides, loves, and blesses us daily!

Book of Malachi: Chapter 3 verses 18-24

18) “Then you will again see the distinction between the just and the wicked; Between him who serves God, and him who does not serve him. 19) “For lo, the day is coming, blazing like an oven, when all the proud and all the evildoers will be stubble,  And the day that is coming will set them on fire, leaving them neither  root nor branch, says the LORD of Hosts.   20)But for you who fear my name, there will arise the sun of justice with its healing rays; And you will gambol like calves out of the stall  21) and tread down the wicked; They will become ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day I take action, says the LORD of hosts.   22) Remember the law of Moses my servant, which I enjoined upon him on Horeb, The statutes and ordinances for all Israel.   23) Lo, I will send you Elijah, the prophet, Before the day of the LORD comes, the great and terrible day, 24) To turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the land with doom.   Lo, I will send you Elijah, the prophet, Before the day of the LORD comes, the great and terrible day.”

Book of Matthew: Chapter 13 verses 31-32  ‘The Mustard Seed’

31) “He proposed still another parable: “The reign of God is like a mustard seed which someone took and sowed in his field.   32)  It is the smallest seed  of all, yet  when full-grown it is the largest of plants.    It becomes so big a shrub that the birds of the sky come and build their nests in its branches.”

Book of Sirach:    Chapter 23 Verses 17-21

17)”   The rake to whom all bread is sweet and who is never through til he dies;   18) And the man who dishonors his marriage bed and says to himself, “Who can see me?   Darkness surrounds me, walls hide me;   no one sees me; why should I fear to sin?”  Of The Most High he is not  mindful, 19) fearing only the eyes of men;   He does not understand the eyes of the LORD, ten thousand times brighter than the sun, observe every step a man takes and peer into hidden corners.    20)  He who knows all things before they exist still knows them all after they are made.   21) Such a man will be punished in the streets of the city; when he least expects it, he will be apprehended.”

To know such love,to embrace such love, and desire such love, is to do   the will of God, above our own,  is the beginning!   For then we have stepped away from our ‘free will’ and turned the desires of our hearts to ‘His Will’!

KNOWING

Ah! to know , is it not the best?  Is it not wonderful to be  accomplished, and respected?   Yet, what happens when we  are replaced, and rejected?

In this fast paced world, advances, and ‘improvements’ are constant!   Many, after years of training, are obsolete!   How can that be?   How can there be no need for someone?   Seems impossible, does it not?    Yet, this is the case, and this is the way of the world!

The world favors no one!   Many believe otherwise!   If they have been accomplished, and found their ‘niche’ they are ‘important’!    This has been the demise of many over the years; perhaps even centuries!   When they lose their possessions, and positions, they lose their identity!

Who we are, is so much more than our accomplishments, or our name or who we are associated with!  Even  with the love of God so great,  and so present,  people are  losing their identities in their ‘stuff’.

Then when catastrophe strikes,  God is indeed  ‘tapping’ you on the shoulder!   For to God the soul is ‘life’!   That is where HE is, within the soul!   The soul cannot ‘awaken’   without an invitation to JESUS CHRIST!

Why? Because God gave the keys to the kingdom of heaven to His Son Jesus Christ!    This is the only ‘move’ you can make to complete you!   For the void is always going to be, unless  you accept  Jesus as your Lord and Savior!

Book of : The Epistle of Paul to the Philippians: Chapter 4 verse 19-20

19)”My God in turn will supply your needs  fully,  in a way worthy of his magnificent riches in Christ Jesus.   20)All glory to our God and Father for unending ages!  Amen.

Book of:  The  First Epistle of Paul to the Philippians Chapter 4 verses 4-9

4) “Rejoice in the Lord aways!  I say it again.  Rejoice!   5)Everyone should see how unselfish you are.   The Lord is near.   6) Dismiss all anxiety from your minds.   Present your needs to God in every form of prayer and in petitions full of gratitude.   7) Then God’s own peace, which is beyond all understanding, will stand guard over you hearts and minds, in Christ Jesus.   8)   Finally, my brothers, your thoughts should be wholly directed to all that is true, all that deserves respect, all that is honest, pure, and admirable, decent, virtuous, or worthy  of  praise.   9) Live according to what you have learned and accepted, what you have heard  me say and seen me do.   Then will the God of peace be with you.”

The world’s Hate: Book of John: Chapter 15 verses 18-19 Jesus speaks:

18)”If you find that the world hates you, know it has hated me before you. 19)If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own; the reason it hates you is that you do not belong to the world.”

BUILDING BLOCKS

Within the confines of this life, we are constantly building.    In our lives we build our futures, and our desires.

Yet, in all the work, and certainty of who we are, and what we want, we face challenges.    There is always someone or something waiting to destroy that which we believe in!

In the spiritual realm, Christianity is under the same battle.   Facing that which wishes to destroy  what she stands for!

Jesus Christ and His doctrine are aways under attack!    If not by atheists, and agnostics, by the ‘lukewarm’ who discount the ‘truth’ because it means being ‘held accountable’!

Christ is always holding someone accountable.    Whether we are in agreement or not!   Jesus is King!   Do not forget that!   For as He rules, He is subtle, calm and gentle in His admonishment.   For Jesus, knows what we need.   We may not realize it ourselves, but He guides, and chastises us to purify us.   This is preparation for the kingdom of heaven.

When it is imposed upon our hearts to do something, and we do not understand why, faith steps in.    That belief and ‘trust’ that Christ desires!   For our work is not about ourselves but rather ‘His will’!    For His will is about spiritual growth in all His Children!   That means to do for another, even when it is uncomfortable, and humbling.    For from all these ‘things’ comes our spiritual growth; and a closeness to Our Savior that can not be bought!   He loves us according to His wishes, and His desires.   In other words the continual trust and obedience we have submitted to because we love Him above ourselves, and our humility.    Chastisement of humility is difficult to become accustomed to.   Yet, the most amazing thing happens when you succumb to it; you become stronger, more obedient, and more, faithful!   Simply because He is pleased!   This incredible grace, brings forth ‘peace’.

These experiences are building blocks to spiritual growth!   Yet, with anything that is being built upon, threats are always constant.   Christ is building each one of us up!   In so doing, Satan is constantly battling for our souls!   This  is absolutely true!   You can not walk with Jesus, become close to Jesus, and not experience the threats of Satan and his demons!   They are as real as the ‘angels’ you believe in!

Be on guard with your soul!   For loss of ones soul is a constant threat.

God’s love through Jesus Christ his Son is available to all of us.   We need the blood of the of the Lamb of God!   He is everything!!

Book of Sirach: Chaper 2 Verses 1-15

1)”My son, when you come to serve the Lord, prepare yourself for trials   2 ) Be sincere of heart and steadfast, undisturbed in time of adversity.   3) Cling to him, forsake him not; thus will your future be great.   4) Accept whatever befalls you, in crushing misfortune be patient; 5) For in fire gold is tested, and worthy men in the crucible of humiliation.   6) Trust  God and he will help you; make straight you ways and hope in him.   7) You who fear the Lord, wait for his mercy, turn not away lest you fall.   8) You who fear the Lord trust him, and your reward will not be lost.   9) You who fear the Lord, hope for good things, for lasting joy and mercy.   10) Study the generations long past and understand; has anyone hoped in the Lord and been disappointed?   Has anyone persevered in his fear and been forsaken?  Has anyone called upon him and been rebuffed?   11) Compassionate and merciful if the Lord; he forgives sins, he saves in time of trouble.   12)  Woe to craven hearts and drooping hands, to the sinner who treads a double path!  13)  Woe to the faint of heart who trust not, who therefore shall have no shelter!   14)  Woe to you who have lost hope!   What will you do at the visitation of the Lord?  15)   Those who fear the Lord disobey not his words; those who love him keep his ways.”

NOW YOU KNOW

None of us wishes to be Judas.   Yet when Jesus was betrayed, abandoned, and alone, were not all who left him a ‘Judas’?

To leave Jesus, and deny Him, is it not the same as Judas betraying Christ?    Giving no thought to the life of Jesus, and His impact on our lives is the same as ‘playing Judas’!     Harsh?!   Perhaps!  However, who amongst us has been, betrayed, abandoned and alone?    Have you ever experienced such pain;  pain that cuts the heart so that it feels as though it bleeds?

To leave Jesus, and give no thought to His Sacrifice, and great love is ‘betrayal’!   It is ‘abandoning’ Him for things of the world!    Then, are we not leaving Him ‘alone’ once again?

If we are content with giving no thought of Christ, and offering no thought of His ‘heart’ then we are as guilty as Judas!    For if we really believe we know Christ, love Christ, and profess Christ, and then deny Him our very selves, we are indeed leaving Him, ‘Betrayed, Abandoned, and Alone!   A very great sin then is committed!    Why?   Because we ‘know Him’ and choose ourselves, our desires, and our pleasures above spending time with Jesus!

Jesus is being taken for granted!

If you do not wish to be ‘Judas’ you must reach to Jesus, embrace Jesus, and follow Jesus!

Then you must be a friend to Jesus; love Him as your beloved, and He will embrace you!  Anything less is as ‘Judas’!    For even Judas embraced Christ!

Book of Matthew: Chapter 26 verse 47-50

47)   “While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived accompanied by a great crowd with swords and clubs.   They had been sent by the chief priests and elders of the people.   48) His betrayer had arranged to give them a signal, saying, “The man I shall embrace is the one; take hold of him.”   49) He immediately went over to Jesus, said to him “Peace, Rabbi,” and embraced him.   50) Jesus answered,”Friend, do what you are here for!   At that moment they stepped forward to lay hands on Jesus, and arrested him.”

TEARS & DOLORS

When we experience tears, we usually give little thought of why, but embrace the pain, trying to understand its meaning.

When we experience Christmas, and the great joy it brings,  or Easter, and its greatest salvation, few consider her.     The Mother who brought forth the Son that we celebrate, on these most beautiful occasions.

Unless, One is Catholic few consider the Mother who shared her only Son with the whole world!

A person asked me what they should say as to why Mary is so special.     Remind them, I said, ‘ that without Mary there is no Christmas, and no Easter!’

Mothers are so tied to their children, they would sooner die, than have their child die.   Mary, obedient to the Father succumbed to the greatest trial any woman could bare….the very death of a part of herself!!    Without hesitation and with great devotion to the will of God…Mary suffered…The following are the sufferings of Our Blessed Mother Mary on behalf of the whole world.    Mary loves unceasingly….

The Seven Tears and Dolors of the Blessed Virgin Mary:

1)The Prophecy of Simeon:   St. Luke Chapter 2 verses 34-35:   Hope:   Here Mary & Joseph, have Jesus baptized, only to hear their Son would be the rise and fall of mankind.   (“HOPE”  for a broken world, may we never lose hope)

2) The Flight into Egypt: St Matthew Chapter 2 Verses 13-14:   Steadfastness:   Here Mary and Joseph, flee with Jesus after hearing that the first born son, under two years of age, will be killed under Herod’s orders.  always obedient !  (May we never tire of journeying with Jesus, Mary and Joseph on the road of life, but that they may be our examples)

3)The Loss of the Child Jesus in the Temple:   Faith: Luke: Chapter 2 verses 43-45    Here Mary and Joseph lose sight of their Son Jesus, and search for him, only to find him in the Temple  teaching  the, doctors, learned, and the elders, who are amazed!  FAITH:   Always believing!  (May we never stop searching for Jesus, rejoicing after finding him, and applying His teachings to our daily lives.)

4)The Meeting of Jesus and Mary on the way of the cross: Devotion:  Upon the carrying of the cross, the second time Jesus fell, Mary looked upon her Son and He said, woman why do you cry for me, my task is soon done. ( not a direct quote)…Mary was devoted to Jesus, and Jesus to Mary, always until death   May we always be ‘Devoted’ to Jesus as Mary, and as Mary to Jesus.

5)The Crucifixion: Suffering:    Jesus dies on the Cross, for the sins of the whole world!  Mary stands at the foot of the Cross with Her Son Jesus, suffering with Him, as any Mother for her child.  (Within the journey of this life, our sufferings are our crucifixion with our risen LORD.)   May we suffer with our cross, with Jesus and Mary as our guides!

6)The taking down of the Body of Jesus  from the cross: Love:  Mary holds her son in her arms, and cries for the souls of the whole world!   (May we always hold the love of Christ in our hearts, as Mary held the Love of Her Son Jesus in her arms!)

7) The Burial of Jesus! Death:   Mary stands at the grave of Her Son Jesus!   May we die with Christ, never leaving His side.  Obedient as Mary til death!

May the Love of the Mother of God be infused in your hearts forever!   Mary conceived without sin, suffers with the whole world still today.   Her Son Jesus Christ standing with her.   Mary waits for her children, as any Mother!    To embrace Mary, follow this prayer, and experience the love of a Mother, and she will lead you to her Son Jesus Christ!

“Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.   Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.    Holy Mary, Mother of God,  pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.” Amen.
