IMPACT

Time leaves behind remnants of what was!     Whether it’s the  history of  the Roman Empire,  the hallow ground of Gettysburg… or great books such as the Holy Bible.    Whatever it may be, time has left behind the impact that was.

We leave behind the impact of who we are.   Giving no thought to who, or what comes our way each day; we contribute.    Whereby, we can come upon the unforeseen and are forced to deal.

Any circumstance has the hand of God in it.    God manifests Himself throughout the world; His world.

Coming to understand this, allows us to focus on the reality of living; the  time to build up, praise, love and be loved.

Then, in realizing we are here to love, be loved, give and forgive, we come upon the core of living.    The heartbeat of ‘life’…

… God is the ‘heartbeat’ of life!    God is;  and what He is, and what  He deems, is what brings ‘Peace’!

The detours of living do not mean God has ‘abandoned’ us,  but rather God has protected us!      He has it handled when  called upon and leaned upon, and cried upon!   God cares, God loves, and God impacts!

Come to God in all situations, and God will reveal the truth.    His love is constant, even when the ‘sin’ is before us or upon us.   He sent us His Son to reaffirm this great love.

Do not doubt the ‘love of God’ and His impact upon your life, but embrace it!    Bind it to your heart in prayer, and become wise in the teachings of God.   Peace will fill your heart and your life, because you have let God in!

Remember in any relationship you must let someone in…so it is with God.

Book of John: Chapter 15 verses 9-11  Jesus Speaks

9) “As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you.   Live on in my love. 10) You will live in my love if you keep my commandments, even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and live in his love.   11) All this I tell you that my joy may be yours and your joy may be complete.”

WHEN STANDING IN THE LIGHT

When standing in the light of Christ, and judgment is before you,   the life that has been, will be revealed before you!   All the love, all the hate, and even to the day when you first believed!

God has kept record of every act of every one of us!   Even every hair on our head has been counted!   So life, will be seen by each of us before the Son of God.    Then, the ‘Blood of the Lamb of God’ will wash away before our eyes, all that removed!    Then, and only then will the power of His Great Love be realized!   At that point the Kingdom of Heaven will be revealed before our eyes, and the majesty of His Great love will cause each of us to fall to our knees, with tears of joy surpassing all we could imagine.   He, the King of Kings, loving so passionately, that we are welcomed in, even after all that!   This is God!   This is love!   This is ‘eternal life’!

So, to what length do you wish one to go for you to save your life?    If you were dying, and I knew it, would you want me to care?   If you cried out to me, would you desire I ignore you?    If I cried out to you, would you ignore me?   Would you love me enough to put forth your hand to save me?

Sacrifice is love of God!!   To sacrifice ones life for the love of another is the love of God incarnate.    The spirit of the love of God manifested within his own child.     This is the love of God for all mankind!   Yet, who will reach out to this great love?   Embrace it with such passion that he is willing to shout to the mountaintop the greatest joy he has ever felt?

Who cares?   Do you care?   Is Christ, his love, passion, and death a constant in your life?   Does He matter to the degree that every thought resides around him?  Is his love immersed so deeply within you that joy surpasses everything else, so that his teachings are your only concern ?

The ‘light of Christ’ revealed will be so that we may know His Pure love, once having arrived home.

For finally, the test will be over!    Journeying with God is everything!   Jesus Christ is the purest of love…God among us!

Book of Matthew: Chapter 10 Verses 30-33  Jesus Speaks:

30) ” As for you, every hair on your head has been counted; 31) so do not be afraid of anything.   You are worth more that an entire flock of sparrows.   32) Whoever acknowledges me before men I will acknowledge before my  Father in heaven.   33) Whoever disowns me before men I will disown before my Father in heaven.”

Book of Romans: Chapter 8 verses 28-34

28) “We know that God makes all things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his decree.   29) Those whom he foreknew he predestined to share the image of his Son, that the Son might be the first-born of many brothers.   30) Those he predestined he likewise called; those he called, he also justified; and those he justified he in turn glorified.   31) What shall we say after that?   If God is for us, who can be against us?   32) Is it possible that he who did not spare his own Son but handed him over  for the sake of us all will not grant us all things besides?   33) Who shall bring a charge against God’s chosen ones?   God, who  justifies?   34) Who shall condemn them?   Christ Jesus, who died or rather was raised up, who is at the right hand of God and who intercedes  for us?”

Book of Ecclesiastes:  Chapter 3 verses 1-11

1) There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under heaven.

2) A time to be  born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant.

3) A time to kill, and a time to heal;   at time to tear down, and a time to build.

4) A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.

5) A time to scatter stones, and a time to gather   them; a time to embrace, and a time to be far from embraces.

6) A time to  seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away.

7) A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to be silent, and a time to speak.

8) A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

9) What advantage has the worker from his toil?   10) I have considered the task which God has appointed for men to be busied about.  11) He has made everything appropriate to its time, and has put the timeless into their hearts, without men’s  ever discovering, from beginning to end, the work which God has done.

THE GREATEST FEAR

As with anything, life has levels…levels of love, levels of hate, levels of accomplishments, and levels of fear.

Fear though, an emotion, is also temptation…evil can terrorize one into lifelessness!   With fear instilled, refusal to embrace life is instilled, and vices are common-place.   People look forward to the external pleasures rather than love of God!

Love of God is taken for granted!!   Yes, He is!    He, a person with feelings and emotion, He  shared who He is by making us like ‘Himself’!   He feels as we feel, and desires love as we desire love, and loathes ‘hate’ as we loathe hate.

Perfected, and Holy beyond all human comprehension, God shares with us His Holiness through prayer!    His Holiness is so exact, and so perfect, that to reach such perfection, and desire such perfection, takes ‘work’!

‘Work’, in the ‘spiritual realm’ is experienced differently, than ‘physical work’!    The ‘spirit’, real, yet unseen, and unrecognized by many, has levels; just has life has levels!

“On earth as it is in Heaven”….these words direct from OUR LORD himself, says it all!   ‘All being’, when Jesus spoke, He, being God, has many meanings to everything He said.   We can read, one scripture from Our Lord numerous times and the Holy Spirit will enlighten us to a ‘different meaning’ than before!    This is God!   This is the ‘will of God’!  Ever-changing and instructing…God favors…God loves…and God chastises!

The ‘Greatest Fear’ is chastisement of OUR LORD!    Greater than any physical suffering, is chastisement of God!    Many would not agree!   Yet, life is passing away…but God remains!   Always and forever…God is and always will be.

Without the ‘love of God’ where can we go?   What can we do?  What does it matter?   How can we exist without the ‘love of God foremost within our being?’    What does it matter without the love of God?!   Can life have ‘life’ without Him?

“Oh, God never let me separated from you!   My greatest fear is that you may move your hand from me, place me in the shadows of doubt, that I may never breathe again!   YOUR Chastisement Oh Lord, I can not bare.”

Worst beyond all human comprehension is the chastisement of Our God!    Without Him we are nought!    We can not move or have our being without Him!   As life passes away from day to day, we live, love and exist within the realm of the ‘love of God’!

For the ‘agnostics’ out there, life is empty, without meaning, is dead!

WE are dead without God’s favor!

Worst of all suffering is God’s Chastisement!    Once experienced, One never wants to go back there!   The ‘lack of light’ and ‘favor’ once felt removed, can not be explained!   An ache so deep, and so profound, no mere words can explain it!

Chastisement: God’s  deepest discipline cuts the heart!   When the heart is ‘cut’ the pain is beyond all human comprehension!    So deep, the tears fall forever, or so it seems!

Chastisement is my greatest fear!    What is yours?

Book of Luke: Chapter 13 verses 34-35  Jesus Speaks!

34) ” Oh Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you slay the prophets and stone those who are sent to you!   How often have I wanted to gather your children together as a mother bird collects her young under her wings and you refused me!   35) Your temple will be abandoned.   I say to you, you shall not see me until the time comes when you say,’Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord’.”

Book of John Chapter 14 verses 6-7

6) “Jesus told him:“I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me.   7) If you really knew me, you would know my Father also.   From this point on you know him; you have seen him.”

Did you know?

Did you know that in the conversion of Saul, scales fell from the eyes of Saul, and his blindness was healed?

This ‘parable’ is Jesus teaching us we are ‘blind’ without Him!   We can not see, unless we allow Him to remove the ‘blindness’ and open our eyes.   He teaches us through parables, so that we may be ‘open’ to His teachings.   His life, is hidden!   It is revealed to those who wish to know Him!   He does the revealing!   So through prayer, we come to know Christ.  He speaks of prayer and its power, in Matthew 7:7   Telling us we must ask…to receive…to seek that we may find…knock and it will be ‘opened’!   Just as Saul’s eyes were opened, when He was baptized, and ‘converted’!  Saul becoming Paul a ‘new creature in Christ!’

Book of Acts : Chapter 9 Verses  15-18

15)”The Lord said to him: “You must go!   This man is the instrument I have chosen to bring my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel.   16) I myself shall indicate to him how much he will have to suffer for my name.”   17) With that Ananias left.   When he enter the house he laid his hands on Saul and said, “Saul, my brother, I have been sent by the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the way here, to help you recover your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”   18) Immediately something  like scales fell from his eyes and he regained his sight.  He got up and was baptized, 19) and strength returned to him after he had taken food.”

Within the above writing, we can see Jesus telling us we are ‘blind’ without him.    For though Saul thought he saw life as it should be, Jesus called him, and saved him from his  sin.    Awakened by the experience, Saul decided to obey!   Saul empowered by the ‘Holy Spirit’ through baptism, becomes alive!   For he was indeed dead.   His life was empty, and without blessing.   However, because Jesus is also God incarnate, He saw and knew the passion he had for the Jewish faith, and chose him, and his ‘passion’ and zeal for the faith to be a blessing to all mankind.

After his conversion from the Jewish faith into Christianity, our LORD changed Saul’s name to Paul.   Because our LORD changes us into ‘new creatures’ this change in name also signifies the ‘change’ of the man into a new ‘creature in Christ’!   Our Lord has many messages within His parables.   They all have deep meaning and can be revealed through prayer and devotion to our LORD.

We also see the compassion of Christ, in that He (Christ) does not keep Saul ‘blind’ but opens not only His eyes, but his heart.   Through out the readings of Paul we see his great love;  Jesus Christ revealed !

TURNING

Speaking of that…’How is He?’   Oh, she said, ‘ You’d never recognize him now; He’s changed! ‘   ‘How so?’ I said.

‘He started drinking and now He keeps to himself.   He becomes very angry, and now even his own Mother says she doesn’t know him!’   ‘What happened?’   I said.   ‘ Work!’  She said.    ‘Stress!’   ‘He couldn’t handle it anymore.’    ‘I’m sorry to hear that!’    I said.

It could be anybody;  but this was someones husband, son, brother, friend, and lover.   He was lost, and He wanted  ‘no help’.   He was fine, and ‘leave me alone’ was always the answer.

Life is turning, changing and evolving.    It is constant, and  unyielding!    It is centrifugal force in action.    Life is brutal, it can swallow us up, and spit us out, if we are not careful.    Life is fragile!   Very fragile!

Someone wrote once: “Life is fragile, handle with prayer!”

How true!   It, if we could see it from above looking down, would redirect our thoughts, actions, and concerns…turning against the centrifugal force of its nature.

This is what ‘prayer’ does!    Prayer, enlightens, refreshes, renews, recharges, and redeems!   Prayer is powerful!   But, prayer takes work!    Prayer is to life, as water is to the body.   Without, death is immanent.

Just as it is a choice to pick up a bottle, or shoot some drugs, so  is it a choice to pray, and believe!

Unfortunately,’ evil’  plants a seed.   The seed of doubt, lies, and confusion are real.   The ‘spirit’ becomes ‘pierced’ and an answer is desired, immediately.   Because in the minds eye, God is not immediate, and not seen, He is not believed!    The bottle, seen, and tangible becomes the redeemer.    Unfortunately, it numbs, and the pain returns!   It does not ‘heal’!

Healing from the inside out, is God’s way!   He heals from the inside, and we can not see it happening, so we doubt He is working.   This  is human, and this is life.

We all face doubt from time to time.     Yet, God loves us!   He ‘gives life’, and He gives ‘eternal life!’    God does not leave one stranded, but rather is always watching, always loving, and always caring!   He never leaves!

It is ‘evil’ that controls with doubt.

God gives us wisdom in all situations if we are listening.    We must ask!

Putting God first, gives peace.   He loves to be asked, and loves to help, because He loves us.  He made us to love!   He made us to keep company with Him.   He wants an unconditional love.   Not a love with ‘strings attached’ and demands made.   None of us wants that, and neither does He.

Come to God in prayer!  He will renew you, restore you, and redeem you!God wants each of us to know Him personally, that is why Jesus Christ came.   He lives, and waits for all to come to Him.

The Son of God, Jesus Christ, will wash the stains away, clean you up, and make you shine as white as the driven snow, as bright as the sun!

The difference has been tried, and the answer has been found…God wins!

We each are taking this ‘test’ in life, and the answers are shared for all, but will you listen?

The bottle will always be there…God will always be there…try the untried, and discover for yourself what is ‘hidden’ revealed, way beyond your wildest dreams!

Let the Healing Begin!

Book of John Chapter 15 verses 9-12 Jesus Speaks:

9) “As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you.   Live on in my love.   10) You will live in my love if you keep my commandments, even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and live in his love.   11) All this I tell you that my joy may be yours and your  joy may be complete.  12) This is my commandment: love one another as I have loved you.”

COMPLETION

Whatever it is, it takes preparation, and preparation leads to  work!

THE LORD GOD put forth ‘ work’  to make the world!   He could have just thought of it and it would have been.  However  God does everything  for   a reason!

God is a God of Goodness and Wisdom.   His wisdom, is reason .

We down here on earth, have reason ‘to every purpose under heaven.’         We are!  Because God  is!

Contrary to what many believe,  God did it first!   He chooses to ‘allow’ us the ‘privilege’ of choosing!

We could not be if He did not desire to give us this gift!    The gift of life!   Then,  He  redeemed us again;  bringing forth His Very Own Son; choosing to save us once again from ourselves!

He waits!

His Son Jesus Christ, whom we are celebrating, came for the fulfillment of the Father’s will.   However, because of this, we must choose to accept the Son, as having come, having died, and having risen for our sakes!

This is the ‘last call’!!

In other words, God’s final victory is through His Son Jesus Christ!

Redemption:  It’s  up to each of us to accept!

Accepting Jesus Christ is accepting The Father’s will!  It  is everything!

The God of Love incarnate is: the very baby that comes to earth at Christmas!

Jesus is not an excuse, or a swear word!   He is an example,a reason, and a purpose!    He is the way, the truth, and the life!!   Eternal life with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit forever!

This why we celebrate Christmas!

Does He know You?

Jesus says, “I know mine, and mine know me”.    How well do you know Jesus?   If you only know His name and nothing of Him, then Jesus is waiting.

Then, there is work to be done!    Preparation…for the kingdom of heaven!

Come to Christ this Christmas!   Come to Completion, and  Know a love that is everlasting!   Always and forever!!   Amen!

Book of John: Chapter 3 verses 35-36

35) “The Father loves the Son and has given everything over to him.   36) Whoever believes in the Son has life eternal.   Whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure the wrath of God.

Book of Luke: Chapter 10 verse 22 Jesus Speaks:

22)“Yes, Father, you have graciously willed it so.   Everything has been given over to me by my Father.   No one knows   the Son except the Father and no one knows the Father except the Son-and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him.”

Book of Ecclesiastes: Chapter 3 veres 1-11

1) ” There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under  heaven.   2) A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant.   3) A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to tear down, and a time to build.  4) At time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.   5) A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them; a time to embrace, and time   to  be far from embraces, 6) A time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away.   7) A time  to rend, and a time to sew; a time to be silent, and a time to speak, 8) A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.   9)What advantage has the worker from his toil?   10) I have considered the task which God has appointed for men to be busied about.   11) He has made everything appropriate to its time, and has put the timeless into their hearts, without men’s ever discovering, from beginning to end, the work which God has done.”

PEACE

What is this marvelous thing that people speak of;  This thing called, ‘Peace’?   How does one get this marvelous gift?

In this most Holy Season resides the  ‘ Gift of Peace’.

To experience such grace, is to come to our LORD  realizing we ‘need’ Him.    This is the beginning of experiencing, ‘peace.’

Jesus Christ is ‘Peace.’    When He is called upon and ’embraced’ out of emptiness within the soul, and ‘hurt’ is so deep,  He,  having realized such hurt, having done it first; He  saves!

Clear to death on a cross,  abandoned,  betrayed, alone, and suffering, He understands.

Knowing He understands, listens and loves, brings forth ‘peace’.    His ‘comfort’ can not be experienced without ‘total submission’ and ‘total trust.’   Without, it will be ’empty’.

Be wise and listen to my words…realize that this thing called ‘evil’ is real!

So real, and so deadly, it is all consuming!!   All conflicting!    EVIL moves in like a shadow on a sunny day!   Once upon us, it consumes, slowly, deadly, and completely, until self-destruction occurs!  Stealing  Peace!

From the onset of Adam and Eve and the forbidden fruit consumed, into today as well;  Evil is as imminent as darkness falls!

So deadly, because it is a secret.    For to recognize evil is to know, NO!   The world does not wish to know ‘No.’    Look around  and  see, the massacres, and the upheaval of hate.    This is EVIL!!

God, is a God of love, discipline, and instruction.    Without His ‘teachings’ we are doomed!

Clear back into the days of old  God was instructing, and still is today.

Are you listening?

Love begins with me and you…it can only be if I am willing to love you and your desire is to return your love to me…forgiveness…brings  ‘peace’.

Experience PEACE!   Embrace God’s discipline, and instruction, and know a joy that can not be matched!

Book of Philippians: Chapter 4 veres 19-20

19) “My God in turn will supply your needs fully, in a way worthy of his magnificent riches in Christ Jesus.   20) All glory to our God and Father for unending ages!   Amen.”

Book Of John: Chapter 14 Verse 27  “Jesus Speaks”…

27) ” ‘Peace’ is my farwell to you, my peace is my gift to you; I do not give it to you as the world gives peace.   Do not be distressed or fearful.”

BELIEF

You have heard the saying, ‘the glass is half-full, or the glass is half-empty.’

If  life is equated to a glass of water, we can understand that it is viewed by all differently.

So too, we see ourselves differently than those who view us.   Finding ourselves with out fault;  we find it  much easier to cast aspersions on another.    When indeed, each of us must choose ‘how’ to see.

The choice, with or without divine intervention can bring forth another consequence all its own.

When Jesus was with us, He worked many miracles.    He spoke in parables, and left the crowds spell bound.    Yet, even after seeing Him they cast Him aside.   They, many chose to abandon Jesus and return to their life as they knew it.

Coming to Christ is like a glass of water that is completely full to the rim.   One can not see the contents of the glass from a distance, but must move up closely to see that it is full.    Jesus Christ can not be realized until we come up close.    Those within the parables and miracles of His time, came up close.    To see and experience Jesus, we must come up close.   In doing so, we experience Him…

Book of Luke: Chapter 5 verse 17-26

17) One day Jesus was teaching, and the power of the LORD made him heal.   Sitting ‘close’ by were the Pharisees and teachers of the law who had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem.   18) Some men came along carrying a paralytic on a mat.   They were trying to bring him in and lay him before Jesus; 19) but they found no way of getting him through because of the crowd, so they went up on the roof.   There they let him down with his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd before Jesus.   20) Seeing their faith, Jesus said, “My friend, your sins are forgiven you.”   21) The scribes and the Pharisees began a discussion, saying: “Who is this man who utters blasphemies?    Who can forgive sins but God alone?”   22) Jesus, however, knew their reasoning and answered them by saying: “Why do you harbor these thoughts?   23) Which is easier: to say, your sins are forgiven you,’ or say, ‘Get up and walk’?   24)In any case, to make it clear to you that the Son Of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” He then addressed the paralyzed man: “I say to you, get up!   Take your mat with you, and return to your house.”  25) At once the man stood erect before them.   He picked up the mat he had been lying on and went home praiseing God.   26)   At this they were all seized with astonishment.   Full of awe, they gave praise to God, saying, ” We have seen incredible things today!”

To know Jesus, experience Jesus, draw close to Jesus…through prayer, and submission, and Jesus will draw close to you.

Book of John:   verse 31-33

31) Jesus answered them:   Do you really believe?   32) An hour is coming-has indeed already come- when you will be scattered and each will go his own way, leaving me quite alone.   ( yet I can never be alone; the Father is with me.)   33) I tell you all this that in me you may find peace.   You will suffer  in the world.   But take courage!   I have overcome the world.”

DEEP

We  meet people and give little thought as to why.   Simply put, we give no significance to having met them.

Governed by a deeper belief, constitutes a deeper reflection into ones life.    Thereby reflecting, we grow spiritually.    This is the beginning of choosing spirituality.

It usually begins with ‘why’.   We don’t understand, and will never understand until Our Lord desires that we know.

His desires will always be before ours.   Whether we like it or not!   If He is not, then our choices affect us, sometimes throughout our lives!

Time and again I have written on ‘Anger’!  One of the Seven Deadly Sins!   Our Lord depicts Anger,  causing the downfall of man.   He does not say it will, but infers that it can.  Anger roots itself within the ‘core’ or the very being of who we are!   If we are not reflective, we can find ourselves in situations, and circumstances that hurt, and hurt forever!

God is discipline.   Discipline is difficult.   It hurts.   Why, because instruction is not easy to embrace.    We like to think for ourselves!    Yet, we do not know what we are doing.    Even Jesus Christ said it on the Cross; ‘Father forgive them, for they know not what they do’!    How true!

The world will pay for the Crucifixtion of Jesus Christ forever!

Until the World falls to its knees and cries out in ‘submission’ to God Our Father, we will never, ever get it right!

For God is, and always will be!   We are His!   He made us!   He loves us!   He desires us!    Yet, clear to the point of death, do some of us refuse this great love.

Recently, I was blessed with a new granddaughter!   Holding her in my arms, I thought,  How beautiful, innocent, and totally dependent she is!    A gift!   A beautiful child that can not do, but must depend on others.

We being ‘children of God’, need to realize we are totally dependent upon God!    Though we ‘grow-up’ and become ‘so wise’ and ‘so smart’ we need to realize deeply, that God is!   We are not!   Not without Him!   He is Our Father!    To say otherwise, is  to say, “I can be born with out parents”!   It is ludacris.   Everything starts from somewhere!   So do we!

God has done all things for all people; yet we choose destruction, hate, and killing, over His perfect Love!

Love is of God!   It can not be without His blessing!   It will only be an ’empty vessel’ without Him!

To ‘fall in love’ is to feel so deeply, that you are changed forever!

Make your choice!   Choose, and live with the consequences forever!   For God allows, and we remain!   Only He decides whether ‘grace is allowed’!

Book of Matthew: Chapter 19 verse 14   Jesus Speaks:

 14) ‘but Jesus said,’ “Let the children come to me.   Do not hinder them.   The kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

Book of Philippians: Chapter 2 verses 12-14

12) ” So then, my dearly beloved, obedient as always to my urging, work with anxious concern to achieve your salvation, not only when I happen to be with you but all the more now that I am absent.  13) It is God who, in his  good  will toward you, begets in you any measure of desire or achievement.   14) In everything you do, act without grumbling or arguing; 15) prove yourselves innocent and straightforward, children of God beyond reproach in the midst of a twisted and depraved generation-among whom you shine like stars in the sky.”

Book of John: Chapter 1 verses 1-5

1) ” In the beginning was the Word; the Word was in God’s presence, and the Word was God.

2) He was present to God in the beginning.

3) Through Him all things came into being, and apart from Him nothing came to be.

4) Whatever came to be in Him, found life, life for the light of men.

5) The light shines on in darkness, a darkness that did not overcome it.”

Book of Proverbs: Chapter 16 verse 32

32) “A patient man is better than  a warrior, and he who rules his temper, than he who takes a city.”

Book of Proverbs: Chapter 15 verse 1

1) ” A mild answer calms wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”

Book of Proverbs: Chapter 19 verse 19

19) ” The man of violent temper pays the penalty; even if you rescue him, you will have it to do again.”

Book of Proverbs: Chapter 14 verse 19

19) “The patient man shows much good sense, but the quick-temptered man displays folly at its height.”

REJOICE

Recently I attended  a most beautiful Christmas party.   It was in the Bay Area, and the richness of the surroundings, and the ‘Spirit of Christmas’ was in the air.

All  were  elegantly dressed for this most special celebration!

Naturally, when a Christmas Party is given there is a Master of Ceremonies.   It was the same in this case as well.

The Master of Ceremonies was in true form; He was a jewel!   The gentleman, went  on to speak upon the Sanctity of Christmas, and the blessings it offers to each of us.  He went on to tell us all what a blessing we are to him, and to each other!   The man, though a millionaire how many times over,  gave all the Glory to God, and the Praises to Our Savior!

What blessing to attend such a beautiful party, and enjoy the ‘speech’ !   For most often in this ever changing world, the dignity and sanctity of the Holy Season of Christmas is lost, and forgotten.

Christmas is so much more than the ‘stuff’!   The Christ of Christmas is open to all, but few embrace Him.   This loss is of the largest magnitude, for the heart then  can not be made full!

To be made full, to embrace Christmas, and Jesus Christ’s  love is the essence of living!   This is the best gift you or I can give.   He loves, and waits for us to return His love with full hearts.

This Christmas….embrace Jesus Christ….ask for a Bible!   Open the pages to find a life of love, and fulfillment, that has never been ‘afforded’, until now.

The ‘Priceless Gift’ of eternal life, will bless you two-fold…first in the redemption of your soul by the King of Kings, and second by rejoicing with Jesus and giving Him the best present ever….your heart and soul!

May you come to know the Christ in Christmas!   God Bless You!   Merry Christmas!

Book of Matthew:   Chapter 6 veres 21-24 Jesus Christ Speaks!

21) “Remember, where your treasure is, there your heart is also.  22) The eye is the body’s lamp.   If your eyes are good, your body will be filled with light;  23)   if your eyes are bad, your body will be in darkness.  And if your light is darkness, how deep will the darkness be!   24)  No man can serve two masters.   He will either hate one and love the other or be attentive to one and despise the other.”

Book of John: Chapter 12 verses 40-46

40)”He has blinded their eyes, and numbed their hearts, lest they see or comprehend, or have a change of heart- and I should heal them.”   41) Isaiah uttered these words because he had seen Jesus’ glory, and it was of him he spoke.   42) There were many, even among the Sanhedrin, who believed in him; but they refused to admit it because of the Pharisees, for fear they might be ejected from the synagogue.   43)They preferred the praise of men to the Glory of God.

44) Jesus proclaimed aloud:  “Whoever puts faith in me believes not so much in me as in him who sent me;   45) and whoever looks on me is seeing him who sent me.   46) I have come to the world as its light, to keep anyone who believes in me from remaining in the dark.”
