TOUCHED

Sometimes having met someone, they leave a lasting impression;  never to be forgotten.    Why?    What is it that sets another apart from the rest?    Do you know?    Is it something you can touch?    It seems that we can sometimes ‘touch’ each other and not know it.

We are here for each other.   The love God instilled in each of us is met to be shared.     That love emanates from each of us.    Its strength and depth is within each of us.    God present within our being makes up our ‘light’.    We ‘reflect HIM’ when we live Him.    He is Our everything.    Then the light changes and the character changes and the person changes.    The Light of Christ is the Person of God!    The Light of Christ is the Son of God sent to earth for us!    He is Ours and We are His!!

Do you have this light?   Do you know  what I mean?    If you have Christ, Know Christ and love God, then you know what I mean, then you have been ‘touched’!

God Bless You!     May Someone ‘Touch You Today!’

FRAGRANCE

To appreciate the fragrance of our Lord, you must know submission to our Lord.

This you may say, you do not agree with.   Yet Jesus, welcomes His presence into those who allow His instruction into their lives.    That is total submission.    Total submission is not easy.     Total submission is daily.        You know:     It is  absolute love.    Concrete.       Firm.        Final.   Unmoving.      Unwavering.    Love Everlasting.

Jesus Christ knows!   You and I may think we know; we do not!   He knows!    When we have it right, He gives us HIS Fragrance!    How beautiful is HIS Fragrance!    For it is only His to give.    He gives it to those He desires.   His gift!    His love is already unsurpassed.    Yet,   there are so many levels  to OUR JESUS that WE can not  possibly know what HE may have to share with us because HE has been pleased with our faithfulness!

Faithfulness is an absolute in any relationship,  and so it is with our relationship with Jesus.    Do not doubt His person.     His magnificence surpasses anyone here.    Though walking in the light is ‘work’ it is work well done.      Never doubt the light of Christ friend!    No one can give it to you.   Only the MASTER can!   It is so perfect that to find it is priceless.    If You are wise enough to call upon Christ to be your friend, then you will find a light that surpasses all understanding, and never want for anything ever again!

May God Bless  You!    I pray that one day you may know the ‘true fragrance of OUR JESUS CHRIST!’

Book of Luke: Chapter 18 Verse 14  Jesus Speaks:

14 “Believe me, this man went home from the temple justified but the other did not.   For everyone who exalts himself shall be humbled while he  who humbles himself shall be exalted.”

Book of First Corinthians Chapter 2  Verse 9

9   ” Of this  wisdom it is written:”

”   Eye has not seen, ear has not heard,

nor has it so much as dawned on man

what God has prepared for those who love him.”

IMPOSED

Simply choosing does not make it perfect.   When given life, we are given choice.     Choosing brings results that last a life time.

God’s will is imposed whether we allow HIM in or not.

He does not guarantee.    Rather God tests allowing  situations and circumstances to unfold.

Calling upon Him in any and all situations is His desire.

Yet, how many keep HIM centerfold to their daily life?     For to be ‘in love’ is to think daily of someone.     So to be ‘in love with God,’ to be HIS, is to be concerned with HIS desires.    Where are we in our ‘in love of God’?

Most all have heard and are familiar with the book of ‘JOB’.     God was pleased; so Job was blessed.

Satan told God Job would default His love to HIM if HE took away his blessings.     God took Satan’s challenge.    God was certain of Job’s friendship and love of HIM!

Job did not fail God!

God is love!

Keeping this is mind, and knowing this, allows us to love God fully completely and wholly!!   First and foremost.   In so doing we have so pleased God, that He then blesses us with HIS favor, just as HE did Job.

They who are holy, and loved God completely and wholly here, were blessed accordingly.   Yet, they did not have it easy.     Reflecting upon the life of the ‘Blessed Virgin Mary’ who suffered with Her Son for a love so complete and so wholly pure for the love of the Father, she was elevated to become a MOTHER OF ALL!   Only GOD can do this.    She was a mere mortal as you and I.   Conceived without sin, she chose to obey, suffer, anguish, humiliation, and persecution.   Though protected by the Heavenly Father, she also faced trials.    For God,  tests our love.    He has proven HIS love.   Who among us does not want our ‘in love returned’?    God is ‘in love’ with us!   Our life is His gift…priceless!   Will we reciprocate with our priceless love to HIM?

We each must choose.

Old Testament:   READ THE BOOK OF : JOB  Chapters 1-42

Book of Wisdom: Chapter 6 Verses 7-11

7″For the Lord of all shows no partiality, nor does he fear greatness, Because he himself made the great as well as the small, and he provides for all alike;

8 but for those in power a rigorous scrutiny impends.

9 To you, therefore, O princes, are my words addressed that you may learn wisdom and that you may not sin.

10 For those who keep the holy precepts hallowed shall be found holy, and those learned in them will have ready a response.

11 Desire therefore my words; long for them and you shall be instructed.”

Book of Wisdom: Chapter 7  Verses 1-6  Solomon Is Like All Other Men

1″ I too am a mortal man, the same as all the rest, and a descendant of the first man formed of earth.   And in my mothers’ womb I was molded into flesh

2 in a ten-months’ period-body and blood, from the seed of man, and  the pleasure that accompanies marriage.

3 and I too, when born, inhaled the common air, and fell upon the kindred earth; wailing, I uttered that first sound common to all.

4 In swaddling clothes and with constant care I was nurtured.

5 For no king has any different origin or birth,

6 but one is the entry into life for all; and in one the same way they leave it.”

SOUL SURE

It is easy to know and feel certain in our learned professions.    Many study for years and are ever so prideful in their knowledge.      However, it does happen that after years of studying one can be proven wrong.

Recently I read a book written by a neurologist.    It was purely on impulse that I picked this book up.   It is titled: Proof of Heaven   by Eben Alexander, M.D.

The Doctor confesses that He believes His patients were mistaken about ‘heaven’ and praying.    However, He accepts it and ignores it.

Later the Doctor contacts ‘e-coli.’   A terminal disease in which under ten percent of adults live and if they do, they need constant care.

God is using each of us, and as such allows us to endure situations and circumstances that will bless others.

God’s perfect love is about loving.    In so, He proves that by showing us perfection.   Perfection is not easy!   It is taught by God!  He, Present in His Son Jesus Christ, Perfected Life!

We chose not to obey!   If we wish to be perfect, we must wish to obey Christ!    Loving Our Brother to Death is the love of the Father to us.   This is God’s Perfected Life, achieved only through perfect love.

The Doctor found this out!    It matters not how ‘smart’ you are!   It matters not how popular you are.   What matters is ‘perfect love,’    Perfect Love is Jesus Christ!   He is so Perfect, He is worth shouting about!   He is Priceless!   Once experienced, Nothing can match His Love!   He Completes You and Me!!

Come to Christ!  Be Perfect in Christ!

Book of Luke : Chapter 5 Verse 31-32

31) Jesus said to them, The healthy do not need a doctor; sick people do.   32) I have not come to invite the self-righteous to a change of heart, but sinners.”

BLESSINGS

There is no greater blessing than to know the LORD is pleased with you.    Whereby there is no greater sorrow than to know the LORD is displeased with you.

He can and will make it known the decree of HIS ways.    HIS ways are above all others.    The very sorrow of life is that All are HIS children,  few,  realize the error of their ways.

Within the ‘family of GOD’ the children all live together.    Yet, as within any family, the siblings do not always get along, do not always agree, and so there is fighting and dissension going on.

Those who know, share with those who do not know, and yet, are spurned for their difference  of  thought, contrary to their brother or sister.    The ‘fighting’ starts.    Who will win the argument?    Passionately each stand their ground.    Yet to what outcome?

This is within the family!   The family of God .    The  human family.   Not always can and do all agree.

The Head of the Family sometimes grows angry and stands to set order within HIS family.   This causes  more anger and more dissension.    For each ‘blames’ the other!

OUR HEAVENLY FATHER has rules.     The rules are put in place to bring unity, and peace within the family, and maintain the peace, without any favoritism  to any and all.

Rules, are instilled because they are needed.   Whether we like them or not does not enter in.    Rather they are their to ‘protect’ us.

THINK!     Do  you have rules?   Do you do it  only one way, because you know it works?    Of course you do!   You rise in the morning and follow a regiment that you know works.   So your day will flow smoothly.    When conflict interrupts the flow of the rules, the day changes course.   (for instance)  the phone rings and accident has happened!   What to do?    The course of the day has changed!

GOD  is  in charge!    The day, though we plan it belongs to GOD!   So you thought you were in charge of your life?   Wrong!    GOD owns you, loves you, and instructs you!    Are you listening?   Are you following the rules?   To grow ‘in love’ one must obey.    The deeper the ‘in love’ the greater the peace.   RULES, RULES, RULES!   Defiance can be a choice, or obedience can be a choice.   One offers peace, and harmony, the other chaos, and calamity.

The Book-  of The Acts of the Apostles: Chapter 20 Verse 35

35 “I have always pointed out to you that it is by such hard work that you must help the weak.   You need to recall the words of the LORD JESUS himself, who said,’ There is more happiness in giving than receiving.'”

Book of John: Chapter 3 verses 17-21 Jesus Speaks:

17 God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.

18 Whoever believes in him avoids condemnation, but whoever does not believe is already condemned for not believeing in the name of God’s only Son.

19 The judgement of condemnation is this:   The light came into the world, but men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were wicked.

20 Everyone who practices evil hates the light; he does not come near it for fear his deeds will be exposed.

21 But he who acts in truth comes into the light, to make clear that his deeds are done in God.”

HOT BUTTONS

“You’ve got it made.” she said.   I said, “You’ll never know until you walk a mile in my moccasins.”     She said, “What do you mean?”   I said, “You’ll never know until you have walked in my shoes.   “Oh!” she said,

It seems we have only to listen and people make judgments.    Once said, the words can not be taken back.   Once done, the actions can not be undone.    Yet, little thought is given, and then the hurt settles in.   Unaware, the same people continue in their  ways.

They don’t get it!   They are defensive, and offensive, and see no fault within.

Hurt, and broken, the healing can begin.   It takes time.   Time, heals all wounds, it is said.    Yet, people and situations contribute to each of us.   We must choose to forgive.

Forgiveness is ever so difficult.    Yet, when not done, healing can not occur.   Healing occurs when forgiveness is ‘administered’ because it is ‘dressing the wound’.   A wound left undressed, unattended, festers, becomes infected, and healing hurts all the more;  this is what Our Lord was speaking of.

People get to know us.   They love to ‘poke’ and ‘tease’ when they discover what we believe passionately.

In doing so, they jab, and the rudeness hurts.   These ‘hot buttons’ are within all of us.   Unless we are aware they cause conflict we will be ‘hurt’ .    However, if we choose to be wise and realize this is their  ‘play ground’ we will not allow them to continue to ‘hurt us’.

We can not control what others do to us, but we can control how we respond.   This protects us, and we grow in wisdom, and grace, when we ‘know we are protected.’

When the Lord said, ‘set your face like flint’ he was  referring to the countless inflictions of hurt and conflict imposed daily.   The life we live, has constant barriers.   Most are from people empowering themselves at the expense of others, to their enjoyment.

Book of Deuteronomy: Chapter 8 verses 1-5

1 “Be careful to observe all the commandments I enjoin  on you today, that you may live and increase, and may enter in and possess the land which the LORD promised on oath to your fathers.  2   Remember how for forty years now the LORD, your God, has directed all your journeying in the desert,” so as to test your affliction and find out whether or not it was your intention to keep  his commandments.   3   He therefore let you be afflicted with hunger, and then fed you with manna, a food unknown to you and your fathers, in order to show you that not by bread alone does man live, but by every word than comes forth from the mouth of the LORD.   4  The clothing did not fall from you in tatters, nor did your feet swell these forty years.   5   So you must realize that the LORD, your GOD, disciplines you even as a man disciplines his son.”

Book of Luke: Chapter 6 verses 22-23 Jesus Speaks:

22 “Blest shall you be when men hate you, when they ostracize you,  and insult you and proscribe your name as evil because of the Son of Man.   23 On the day they do so, rejoice  and exult, for your reward shall be great in heaven.    Thus it was that their  fathers  treated the prophets.”

THE LAST TO KNOW

We, all of us are ‘in charge’.   We don’t need to ask anyone.   As a matter of fact most of us would rather  tell someone.   However, sometimes we find out we are the last to know!

That can hurt!!   Then who will we call?

When God put us here, He had a plan.   Though we know that, how many of us ask Him?

God’s design in all of this, this world, and its people, places, and happenings are because He allows it.    As anyone of us knows,  Our Father’s are strong disciplinarians.   ( If they want obedient children they are. )  Children are very ‘smart’.    They  have only to worry about what they want and how to get it!

So  it is with us!    We  are all thinking about what we want and how to get it.

“Why is it not happening?”   ”  Who can I get to do that? ”   Then,   we are quick to tell someone , ” You’re  wrong, and no way can that work.”

God is telling us how to live in harmony, and in peace.   Are we listening?  .

The problem : “we each think it is the other guy”!

It takes  keeping the two great commandments.    So how many of us do?

Life is of God!   He owns it!!

It’s purpose is to please the heavenly Father!

That friend is why He made us.   He loves us passionately!    He is waiting for each of us to follow His rules!   He is giving us time.   Yet, it is up to Him as to how much time ; It is only  loan.

“Are you the last to know?”

Jesus Christ is King!  He rules!

When you close your eyes, will He smile and say, “I’ve been expecting you!   Welcome Home!”   OR Will He say, ” I know you not!  Out of my sight you evildoer!”

Regardless!   It is up to Him!     Times Up!    It always was His!!

God Bless You!    May you decide to know the peace that surpasses all understanding, and decide to come to Jesus Christ now.   For tomorrow never comes!!

Book of Romans: Chapter 28 verses 25-28

25 “Without reaching any agreement among themselves, they began to leave.    Then Paul added one final word: “The Holy Spirit stated it well when he said to your fathers through the prophet Isaiah :

26    ‘ Go to this people and say:    You may listen carefully yet you will never understand;   you may look intently yet you will never see.

27     The heart of this people has grown sluggish.   They have scarcely used their ears to listen; their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their minds, And repent; and I should have to heal them.’

28   Now you must realize that this salvation of God has been transmitted to the Gentiles-   who will heed it!”

Jesus Speaks: CONDITIONS OF DISCIPLESHIP:  Book of Luke :  Chapter 9 verses:23-27   Jesus said to all:

“Whoever wishes to be my follower must deny his very self, take up his cross each day, and follow in my steps.   24   Whoever would save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.   25 What profit does he show who gains the whole world and destroys himself in the process?    26 If a man is ashamed of me and my doctrine, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and that of his Father and his holy angels.   27  I assure you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the reign of God.”

Book of Mark: Chapter 12 verses 28-34
The Great Commandment:

28   One of the scribes came up and when heard them arguing he realized how skillfully Jesus answered them.   He decided to ask him , “Which is  the first of all the commandments?”

29   Jesus  replied:

“This is the first:

‘Hear, O Israel!   The Lord our God is Lord alone!   30   Therefore you shall love the Lord you God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’

  31 This is the second,

‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’.    There is no other commandment greater than these.”  32 The scribe said to him: ” Excellent, Teacher!   You are right in saying, ‘He is the One, there is no other than he.’   33   Yes, ‘to love him with all our heart,  with all our thoughts and with all our strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves’ is worth more than any burnt offering or sacrifice.”    34  Jesus approved the insight of this answer and told him, “You are not far from the reign of God.” And no one had the courage to ask him any more questions.”

TOO MUCH

What does it take to be ‘close’ to someone?    Relationships come and go.   We meet many people throughout our lives and give little thought to whom or why.     Yet, the impact that is left is always thought-provoking…numerous times people portray themselves as something they are not…living a lie!

When we touch each others life, we are leaving  behind a story.    We are indeed leaving an impression that will last a lifetime.     Then once written (lived) the dice has been cast, and there is no turning back.

However, in the course of this life, this ‘story’ we have been given to write, we will, whether we realize it or not, leave an impression that is irrevokable!

We are all held accountable.     We did not put ourselves here.     We do not have final say…God decides!

He is indeed the author of this,   His book.   We are His characters within His novel, and  He is allowing us to use the pen, His Pen!!

This is life!   This is reality!   God Rules!

So I ask you, ‘How much is too much?’    How much is to much to give to a God that gave everything, and still gives, everything even now.

Would you be the first to step up and say, “Here is My Son, He will Save Your Son so he may live”?    Would you or I be so loving and so forgiving as to allow others to continually take and take and take and ignore what our son did to save their son?

Though on a different plane, Heaven is on earth!   We have been given a chance to know heaven; yet we ignore this great love.

Many believe they already have great love.   I say, if you say that you are a ‘fool’!   The greatest love of all is the ‘love of Jesus Christ’!     He is infinite!   To say otherwise is to maintain having reached the depth of Christ the King!!     Because Jesus is God in the second Person, we have so much to learn, for the Father and Holy Spirit are also there.     The experience of the “HOLY TRINITY” can not reach its ultimate level for God is infinite!

I do not mean to imply that the levels of love for God Our Father and the Love of Jesus Christ the Son, in union with the Holy Spirit can not reach a greater height, it can.

Yet, we can never ever get enough of the “HOLY TRINITY”!   For that is to say, love has a limit, and we know love is infinite.   It keeps growing!

Love and ‘in love’ are entirely different.   The feeling,  the experience,  and the emotion are on different levels.

Many mistake loving for ‘being in love’.  With  so  many different levels of love, there is no way, we can reach fufillment.

Book of Hebrews: Chapter: 3 verses:  1-14  Chapter 5 verses 11-14

1″ Therefore, holy brothers who share a heavenly calling, fix your eyes on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we acknowledge in faith,   2 who was faithful to him who appointed him.   Moses too, “was faithful in all  God’s household,”   3 but Jesus is more worthy of honor than he,  as the founder of a house is more honorable than the house itself.   4 Every house is founded by someone, but God is the founder of all.   5  Moses “was faithful in all God’ s household” as a servant charged with the task of witnessing to what would be spoken; 6 but Christ was faithful as the Son placed over God’s house.   It is we who are that house if we hold fast to our confidence and the hope of which we boast.”

Israels’ Infideltiy a Warning.   7  Wherefore, as the Holy Spirit says:

“Today, if you should hear his voice,    8 harden not your hearts as  at the revolt in the day of testing in the desert,   9   When your fathers tested and tried me, and saw my works   10   for forty years.   Because of this I was angered with that generation and I said, ‘They have always been of erring heart, and have never known my ways.’   11  Thus I swore in my anger, ‘They sahll never enter into my rest.’ ”

12  “Take care, my brothers, lest any of you have an evil and unfaithful spirit and fall away from the living God.   13 Encourage one another daily while it is still “today”, so that no one grows hardened by the deceit of sin.   14   We have become partners of Christ only if we maintain to the end that  confidence  with which we began.”

Chapter 5 verse 11-14:  Exhortation to Spiritual Renewal:

11  “About this we have much to say, and it is difficult to explain, for you have become deaf,   12  Although by this time you should be teaching others, you need to have someone teach you again the basic elements of the oracles of God;    you need milk, not solid food.    13   Everyone whose food is milk alone is ignorant of the word that sanctifies, for he is a child.   14   Solid food is for the mature, for those whose faculties are trained by practice to disguish good from evil.”

Book  of John Chapter  21 vers 15-17  Jesus Speaks:

15 When they had eaten their meal, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?”       Yes, Lord,” he said, “you   know that I love you.”   At which Jesus said, “feed my lambs.”   16 A second time he put his question, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” “Yes, Lord, ” Peter said, “you know that I love you.”   Jesus replied, “Tend my sheep. ”  17 A  third time Jesus asked him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”  Peter was hurt because he had asked a third time, ” Do you  love me?”   So he said to him:   Lord, you know everything.   You know well that I love you.”   Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.”

FINDING YOUR WAY

Those days are gone now!

The rules have changed, and the ‘presentation’ of many have deteriorated!

Where did it all begin?

Gods contribution to this, is ‘Himself”    He has rules!   Now broken  rules!
In other words, even if you can look across your life and ‘feel’ you have been ‘perfect’ and ‘obedient’ there is still ‘sin’.

He talks about the ‘heart’ from the beginning of ‘time’ : Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, (there the disobedience, and original sin)    The onset of “ME” originated!

We must put God  First!     When He is First, the Heart takes on a new “presentation of oneself!

Look to Him in all things;   then when   the ‘light of Christ , is  invited, embraced and loved  the heart will be made full!

He expounds on this;  and   God’s delights to ‘instruct His children’!   His children are you and I.   Through the salvation and welcoming of His Son we are made whole.

Book of Revelation: Chapter 3 verses 1-6 Jesus Speaks:

1)” To the presiding spirit of the church in Sardis write this:

“‘ The One who holds the seven spirits of God, the seven stars, has this to say: I know your conduct; I know the reputation you have of being alive, when in fact you are dead!   2)Wake-up, and strengthen what remains before its dies.   I find that the sum of your deeds is less that complete in the sight of my God.   3) Call to mind how you accepted what you heard; keep to it, and repent.   If you do not rouse yourselves I will come upon you like a thief, at a time you cannot know.   4) I realize that you have in Sardis a few persons who have not soiled their garments; these shall walk with me in white because they are worthy.

5) ” The victor shall go clothed in white.   I will never erase his name from the book of the living, but will acknowledge him ‘in the presence of my Father and his angels.   6) “‘ Let him who has ears heed the Spirit’s word to the churches!”‘

HOW CAN IT BE?

How can it be that one man can be uncomfortable in the presence of the prayerful, and spiritual here on earth, and still attain heaven?   How can it be that heaven will be within the unforgiving?   How can light emanate from darkness?

When a person professes his way, disallowing all things unto himself; how can he be filled with the spirit of Christ, the ‘light of the world?’    If he can not and will not bask in the loveliness of the spirit of the Lord, ‘His word’, and ‘His light’ then how can the light of Christ be reflected in the unbeliever?

Whether Christ conquers darkness or defeats death is determined by the call of the sinful man!   The sinful, being you and I!   Christ presence in the world was such, so that darkness, and death could be defeated, and eternal life be achieved through ‘Him, and Him alone.    For the world is filled with ‘darkness’.    Darkness being sin, and disobedience to God, and refusal of His love.

Therefore it is only through the Son of God that the darkness can be extinguished!   Therefore if Christ’s help is not called upon to reveal and release the evil within the world, then the darkness remains.    Remaining in darkness, remaining in sin, is denial of eternal life.

The experience of the ‘Spirit of Jesus  Christ’  is real, and can not be without a  call to him, and a invitation into oneself.    “Save me Jesus”  “Help me Jesus ” Forgive me Jesus” !    These words, and any that put Christ before all things, and our very selves invites Christ, and saves us from ourselves!

“Rejection of the world,” to attain “acceptance into the Kingdom of Heaven” are the choices!   Without Christ the Kingdom of Heaven can not and will not be realized, and experienced!

Book of John: Chapter 9 verses 39-41- Jesus Speaks:

39 Then Jesus said:   “I came into this world to divide it, to make the sightless see and the seeing blind.”   40 Some of the Pharisees around him picked  this up, saying, ” You are not calling us blind, are you?”   41   To which Jesus replied:   ” If you were blind there would be no sin in that ‘But we see,’ you say, and your sin remains.”

Book of : First Epistle of Paul to Timothy: Chapter 1 verses: 12-17  &  Chapter 2 verse 5-6

12 “I thank Christ Jesus Our Lord, who has strengthened me, that he has made me his servant and judged me faithful.    13 I was once a blasphemer, a persecutor, a man filled with arrogance; but because I did not know what I was doing in my unbelief, I have been treated mercifully, 14 and the grace of our Lord has been granted me in overflowing measure, along with  the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.   15 You can depend on this as worthy of full acceptance: that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.   Of these I myself am the  worst.   16 But on that very account I was dealt with mercifully, so that in me, as an extreme case, Jesus Christ might display all his patience, and that I might become an example to those who would later have faith in him and gain everlasting life.   17 To the King of ages, the immortal, the invisible, the only GOD, be honor  and glory forever, and ever! Amen”

Chapter 2 verses 5-6

5  ” And the truth is this:

“God is one.   One also is the mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all.”   This truth was attested at the fitting time.”

Book of John Chapter 12 verses 25-30 Jesus Speaks:

25 “The man who loves his life loses it, while the man who hates his life in this world preserves it to life eternal.   26 If anyone would serve me, let him follow me; where I am, there will my servant be.   If anyone serves me, him the Father will honor.   27 My soul is troubled now, yet what should I say-Father, save me from this hour?   But it was for this that  I came to this hour.   28 Father, glorify your name!”

Then a voice came from the sky: ” I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.”   29 When the crowd of bystanders heard the voice, they said it was thunder.    Others maintained, ” An angel was speaking to him.”   30   Jesus answered, “That voice did not come for my sake, but for yours.”   31 ” Now has judgment come upon this world, now will this world’s prince be driven out, 31 and  I -once I am lifted up from the earth-will draw all men to myself.”
