The Locked Gate

When the children were young we had a fenced yard, and so I did not concern myself with the wherabouts of them.

The gate in the back yard had a typical closure, I thought was secure.    When I was feeding our six month old daughter, I looked up to find the ‘gate’ open and our two year old son gone.    The house backed up unto an alley, and that led to a main street.    I was frantic!   I had no choice but to leave our daughter in  the high chair and find our son.    I prayed the whole way, and found him running and laughing down the main street.   I was certain he was lost to me.   I was also certain he was to young to understand the ‘clasp’ on the gate.   Thankfully, I found him and he was fine.   I realized, I was a fool for having taken the workings of that gate for granted, and that our son was to young.  God was Good! He answered my prayers and both our children were fine.   I learned early not to take anything for granted when it comes to raising children.

Our Heavenly Father is totally aware of every instance in this life.  I have always been a very devoted Christian, and have prayed fervently througout my life.    When I have called upon our Lord, He has always answered me.   Though at times I have found myself disappointed, I realized He knew what was best.

In the case of my children, I have always asked for His guidance, knowing He is wise, and I am only His child myself.    Keeping that in mind has always helped me to maintain the perspective of His infinite wisdom.

The circumstances that we come up against in this life, warrant our Heavenly Fathers help!   No matter what it is.   I have had people say to me:’I don’t bother God with such things!’    I say, “I ‘bother’ God with everything!”   He is my
Father, He made me and He knows I love Him.    It is wonderful to know He knows I feel I need Him!   To me this is who God is!   He is Our Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ is our brother!   Scriptures confirm this.   We are sons and daughters through adoption.   (I have written on this also.)

Whatever the course we are on, we need to know God is waiting!   He loves to hear from us.   Raising Children is a very important task, and should not be taken lightly.

If you have ever been lost and did not realize you were lost, and found later you were, you found the need to ask for directions.  (If you are wise, you do.)    In this life it is easy to get lost.   When you come to Jesus and trust in Jesus, and know Jesus, it is then you realize how totally lost you were.

When Mary and Joseph had lost sight of Jesus, and did not find Him for three days, it was not that Jesus was lost, but rather that they felt ‘lost’ without Him.  (St.Luke Chapter 11 verses 43-45) Of course the prophecy had to be fulfilled, for this to take place.     They were over joyed to find Him.   Just as I experienced great joy, in finding my son.   You can be sure they prayed too!

Our LORD uses another scripture to affirm the need for directions to heaven:

Book of Matthew, Chapter 7 13-14 & 20-23  JESUS SPEAKS:

13)”Enter throughthe narrow gate.   The gate that leads to damnation is wide, the road is clear, and many choose to travel it.   14)But how narrow is the gate that leads to life, how rough the road, and how few there are who find it.”

20)”You can tell a tree by its fruit.   21)None of those who cry out, ‘LORD, LORD,’ will enter the kingdom  of God but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.   22)When that day comes, many will plead with me, “Have we not prophesied in your name? Have we not exorcised demons by its power?   Did we not do many miracles in your name as well?’   23)Then I will declare to them solemnly, ‘I never knew you, Out of my sight, you evildoers!”

Conclusion of Our Lords Sermon: Verses 24-27

24)”Anyone who hears my words and puts then into practice is like the wise man who built his house on rock.  25) When the rainy season set in, the torrents came and the winds blew and buffeted his house.   It did not collapse; it had been solidly set on rock.   26) Anyone who hears my words but does not put them into practice is like the foolish man who built his house on sandy ground. 27) The rains fell, the torrents came, the winds blew and lashed against his house.   It collapsed under all this and was completely ruined.”

The children are grown now, and have families of their own.

They have been instructed in the Lords teachings;so, when the ‘torrents come’ their house is built solidly on rock!

YOKE

Life is a burden.   When we are ‘freed’ from living in the guidance, and instruction of our parents we discover quickly that life is not easy.   Rather we conclude that it takes perseverance and discipline.   Without perseverance and discipline we lose our ‘way’ quickly!  Only to find ourselves without direction.

The Lord Jesus Christ covered this in His sermons too.  He, under the instruction of our Heavenly Father was guided to say and do, so that we may grow in wisdom.    However, it seems many feel they do not need wisdom but are already wise in their own right.

When life gets hard, extremely difficult, and relentless in its trials, we either become angry or we become  ‘wise’ and we stop and reflect.   We reflect on where we are going, and what we are doing.   In the spirit of a loving God, He draws us in when we call upon Him to ‘help’.   God wants us to ask for help!  If it hurts bad enough, and the ‘anquish’ supersedes anything we have ever experienced, we will ask for His help.    God sends us these challenges in our lives to draw us to Him.

Jeus Christ spoke very succinctly when He said the following:

Matthew,  Chapter 11 verses 28-30

28)”Come to Me, all of you who are weary and find life burdensome; I will refresh you.   Take my yoke on your shoulders and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble of Heart.   You shall find rest because My yoke is easy and My burden light.”

Book Of Sirach  chapter 2  verses 10-14

10)”Study the generations long past and understand; has anyone hoped in the LORD and been disappointed?   Has anyone persevered in his fear and been forsaken?  has anyone called upon him and been rebuffed?   11)Compassionate and merciful is the LORD; he forgives sins, he saves in time of trouble.   12) Woe to craven hearts and drooping hands, to the sinner who treads a double path!   13) Woe to the faint of heart who trust not, who therefore will find no shelter!   14) Woe to you who have lost hope!”

True Wisdom: 1st Corinthians Chapter 2 verse 9

9)”Eye has not seen ear has not heard nor has it so much as dawned on man what God has prepared for those who love Him.”

FOOLISH

Amazing!   It is truly amazing the multitudes who deem themselves worthy of the kingdom of heaven.   Having spoken with many people on faithfulness to our Lord and the presence of Him in their life, they believe they have heaven in the palm of their hand.   The  kingdom of heaven is a rare gem, and is not found easily.    Yet, many are certain they can go about their sinfulness and be forgiven in keeping company with it.  In other words, no reformation.

Book of Matthew  Chapter 4 verse 17

17)”From that time on Jesus began to proclaim this theme:’Reform your lives!   The kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Book of Ephesians Chapter 5 veses 1-7

1)Be imitators of God as his dear children.2) Follow the way of love, even as Christ loved you.   He gave himself for us as an offoring to God, a gift of pleasing fragrance.3) As for lewd conduct or promiscuousness or lust of any sort, let them not even be mentioned among you; your holiness forbids this.4)Nor should there be any obscene, silly, or suggestive talk; all that is out of place.   Instead, give thanks. 5) Make no mistake about this: no fornicator, no unclean or lustful person-in effect an idolater-has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6)Let no one deceive you with worthless arguments.   These are sins that bring  Gods wrath down on the disobedient;7)Therefore have nothing to do with them.”

Book of Luke Chapter 13 verses 23-28 (The Narrow Door)

23)someone asked Him,”Lord, are they few in number who are to be saved?”  24)He replied:”Try to come in through the narrow door, Many, I tell yu, will try to enter and be unable. 25)when once the Master of the house has risen to lock the door and you stand outside knocking and saying,’Sir, open for us’,he will say in reply,’I  do not know where you come from.’ 26) Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your company, You taught in our streets’, 27)But he will answer, ‘ I tell you, I do not know where you come from. Away from me, you evildoers!’ 28)”There will be wailing and grinding of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets safe in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves rejected.”

TIME

Time began in the ‘Garden of Eden’ upon the occurance of original sin.   Time is not essential to God.  It is essential to us the worldly.   Why?   Because it is we who are governed by Him.   Whether it is to our liking or not, He holds the reigns to this life.

We have free will!   Free will to praise God or ‘praise’ ourselves!   When you meet someone and they are talking about themselves, does it not seem they are praising themselves?   Humility is big to God.   As matter of fact, when you choose to rise to higher ground, (step into spirituality) and become prayerful and loving, the Holy Spirit teaches humility.

Christianity the foundation to us all, teaches us humility.    Then we realize it is not about us, but God,  the love of God, the will of God, and the joy of God!  Then , we reach the fullness of completion. Really, Christians call it, ‘ being made whole’!

Whatever the choice, it is because God ‘allows’ it! For with ‘free will’ comes big responsability.  The choices we make can and do affect us for a life-time!!   We, if we are not wise find ourselves in harms way.   This can be rushing into marriage, having children, rebellion toward our parents, gambling, affairs, even traveling.  People ‘run’ from things to avoid confrontations.   They do it without thinking.  Prayer, and ‘time’ for prayer, is essential!

In the course of this life, time governs and we heed to its demands.   When spiritualy sound, a person notices things a ‘flesh’ driven person does not.   Such as realizing God is in control and if I miss that plane or oversleep; God is behind it!

The flesh filled person is swearing and angry and chooses anger, rather than trust.  For if we trust God, we must believe He is guiding us, and ‘everything happens for a reason’!   No matter what, God is behind it!  God is in Charge and we are not!  We may think we are, but ultimately, God decides!  So much so that if He wants something done, and you have a relationship with the  ‘Heavenly Father’ He will make it known to you what He wants, until you ‘get it’!  He is God! He can do all things, and if He wants it, He gets it!   This is the Love Of God!   God Decides!

For instance, there are people that missed the planes on the day of 9-11!!  God made someone think it was another day, and ‘forgot’ what day it was.  Another’s alarm did not go off.  Another went to help someone and was running behind, and so was not in the ‘terrible tradgedy’.   Where we are, what we are doing, and who we are, He knows!  He in His infinite wisdom is the maker of time down here on earth.   We may think we are picking the hour, and to some degree we are, but He allows it!  So, when things go ‘askew’ and you lost those keys, or you missed that plane, strive for ‘trust’ in God, rather than cursing.   Numerous times I have heard people say, only because I could not find my keys that morning I wasn’t in that accident.  Keep the Faith!  God loves us!   He watches, and rejoices when we rejoice.

Jesus speaks: Book of John Chapter 14 verses 29-31

29)”I tell you this now, before it takes place, so that when it takes place you may believe.   30) I shall not go on speaking to you longer, the Prince of this world is at hand.  He has no hold on me,  31) but the world must know that I love the Father and do as the Father has commanded me.   Come, then!  Let us be on our way!”

ACCEPTANCE

Acceptance is a very big word with a very big place in our lives. Whether we realize it or not, it dictates who we become, and our perspective of ourselves.   Acceptance is key to liking ourselves.

When we are young and our first exposure to the world is, ‘school days’!  We find out the truth.   In truth, whether we are accepted amongst our peers, or ‘mocked’!

For children learn what they live, and pass it on into their adult years.   The bully, the smart kid, the ‘dumb kid’ the class clown, the dunce, and the teachers pet!   Wherever you fall within the spectrum of this equation, who you are is because of the level of acceptance you recieved as a child.

The molding of our personalities is indoctrinated by God.   For God is everywhere, knows everything, and is constant!   He knows if you’re the kid that is picked on, or the smart one, or the talented one!   He made you!  In other words, whether we like it or not, we are still children!
We are Gods children!  ” With God there is no favoritism! “(Book of Romans Chapter 2 verse 11) With little thought  to who or why things are, we must always return to Our Heavenly Father!   He sets His sight on us, and knows where and who we are.   Keeping that in mind, whatever it is, He waits to see how we will handle ‘it’!    For God is a God of second chances!   After all He gave us Jesus!   How can we question such great love!   His desire for us is our relationship with Him!   I can not say that enough!   It is everything!   It is paramount in this life!

Absolute Acceptance is of God!   Nothing and no-one but He matters!   After you have found Him, all else will fall into place.   The challenges will still confront us daily. We will still be held accountable.   But the God who made us and loves us is ever present and waits for each beating heart!

God’s Just Judgment: Romans   Chapter 2 verses 1-8   1)”That is why everyone of you who judges another is inexcusable.   By your judgment you convict yourself, since you do the very same things.”  2 )”We know that God’s judgment on men who do such things is just.” 3)Do  you  suppose then, that you will escape his judgment, you who condemn these things in others yet do them yourself? 4) Or do you persume on his kindness and forbearance?   Do you not know that  God’s kindness is an invitation to you to repent? 5) In spite of this, your hard and impenitent heart is storing up retribution for that day of wrath when the just judgment of God will be revealed, 6)when He will repay every man for what he has done: 7)Eternal life to those who strive for glory, honor, and immortality by patiently doing right; 8)wrath and fury to those who selfishly disobey the truth and obey wickedness.”

Acceptance is key to lifes understanding!   To accept Gods will for our life rather than our own, we come to and understanding of peace, which surpasses all understanding!   For doing Gods will is everything!

WHAT HAPPENED?

When we are caught unaware, we ask, “what happened”?    This can be an awakening in a hospital bed, or someone closing the door on a relationship.   What ever the case, we experience confusion.

In the betrayals of this life, we find ourselves wondering.   Sometimes it is only because we trusted to soon.   In the mistakes we make, whether loving, only to find ourselves unloved, or a breakdown in health, and our quality of life, (our jobs, our homes, and our children turn away) we sense betrayal.   People are of a nature about them selves.   Compassion is of Christ.  It is impossiable to be compassionate without our Lords help.   He has been there and done that!   So, He already knows the hurt…..abandoned, betrayed, and alone.    His experience was first.   So in choosing to try to come to an understanding of sorts, and a healing, He is the only one who can bring the peace to the unexpected.   As I said, Our Heavenly Father wants a closer relationship with us all.    His only Son, Jesus is our mediator in this life.    Jesus Christ can never be more personable than he already is.   However, we must reach for His hand, and crave His guidance.   His way is the only way.

Sometimes its health, and a deterioration of our health, and seizures, and medication conflicts that are a burden.    At this point the whole thing becomes about us.    Yet, Jesus still waits for our call.   To some point He may ‘try’ us to a level of patience that only He can brings us through.   This can be to the point of humiliation.

I can assure you, it is not easy to be subjected to the trial.   For one  who is known to have seizures or black out’s, or medication imbalance, it affects our very being every day.    This is a trust issue.    For to trust in His love is paramount in all situations, but for me it is essential.    For I am totally aware of my vulnerability, whereas others take themselves for granted!

This is a God-Given Grace!    Though difficult to equate, it really reminds me daily how totally fragile life is, and the gift that it is.

In the wisdom of God, He has in some ways done me a great favor by constantly keeping me on guard, and with Him at  the forfront of my mind and heart daily.

That is not to say others do not have this ‘gift’, but rather to share an awareness of the depth of the ‘grace of God’!

For to come to the resolve that life is temporary, and fragile, it reaches its fullness.

Jesus Speaks:   Book of John Chapter 11 verses 41-42

41)”They then took away the stone and Jesus looked upward and said:

“Father, I thank you for having heard me.   42)I know that you always hear me but I have said this for the sake of the crowd, that they may believe that you sent me.”

CRAVING TRUST

If we trust we are then whole.   Yet when trust is broken, we become broken.   The cornerstone to a faith filled relationship is trust.   If trust is proven to be lost, how can we proceed and fulfill the depth of any relationship?

If we find a liar in our midst, is this not a broken trust?   The communication breakdown is pivotal in the trust factor.   Can I be trusted if I am found to be a liar?

Someone said to me, “All people lie!”   I disagree!   I choose to believe there are some who will choose not to speak at all, rather than tell a lie.   If a lie is given and it is realized at the time, it will reveal itself for what it is.   Humiliation on the part of the transgressor, and the part of the reciever occur.   Why?   Because the reciever, if a ‘friend’ will be embarrassed for the transgressor.    Though it is easy  to become a liar,  one can choose to be offended by the ‘title liar’ and strive for a higher ground.

When a trust is broken through a lie or an infidelity, both are hurtful!

Would you want me for a friend or lover if I were a known liar?    I think not!    For if it were so, I feel sorry for you!   For a liar breaks a heart!   A liar decieves, and thinks nothing of it!   A liar thinks only of himself and deems his needs and desires above all else.

If people were to stop and consider the magnitude of lying, they would strive for higher ground.   Reaching for holiness!   For to attain holiness, we must want it, strive for it, and pray for it!   Holiness is purity of heart, perfection of spirit and tranquility of soul!   Holiness is the delight of Our Heavenly Father!   He loves it when we choose to become holy, for we are then following His plan, and rejoicing in His will, and not our own.
First John Chapter 2 verse 17 verses 20-23

17)” And the world and its seductions is passing away but the man who does God’s will endures forever.”

20)”But you have the anointing that comes from the Holy One, so that all knowledge is yours.”

21)”My reason for having written you is not that you do not know the truth but that you do, and that no lie has anything in common with the truth.”

22)”Who is the liar?  He who denies that Jesus is the Christ.   He is the antichrist.”

23)”Anyone who denies the Son has no claim on the Father, but he who acknowledges the Son can claim the Father as well.”

TESTS

When we enter school, one of the first things we learn is tests are a part of learning.   In learning to live we all incur tests.   Testing is of God.   God requires an atonement for our sins.  An atonement being a suffering of sorts for the love of Christ.   Jesus Christ the redeemer of the world suffered first because of us!   Not because He had to, but because He wanted to.   For if one does not love, why would one choose to suffer?   Suffering is of itself a spiritual growth.    For suffering is God calling us to draw closer to Him.   He loves us so much that He wants a personal friendship with each of  us.   However, it is typical for the ‘flesh’ to curse God in these instances.    For the person that has not come to know Christ finds it difficult to discern this ‘thinking’.    For God does not think or reason as we do.    God, Our Heavenly Father is concerned for the soul.   Ours souls are from Him of Him and because of Him; and therefore He is constantly leading us to Him.    However contrary it may seem, this is indeed the case.   When we consult the scriptures we find the answers to our living in this life.    Whether we believe or agree with the circumstances or not, they being as they are,  are happening so we may attain eternity with God.   This can only be achieved in proving our faithfulness to the Father who loves us and gave us life!

Having never been blessed with great ability to achieve ‘A’s in school, I can assure you tests have never been to my likeing.    However, they are, and always will be a part of this life.

We can walk through this life believing we have it made.   Money, is constant, health is perfect, children are beautiful, the grandchildren are gifted, and the parents are loving.   Yet, in all of this God is watching, and He decides upon the greatest trial and when.

If you have a most beautiful child, a daughter whom everyone compliments you on and is so very gifted, and then she becomes so ill, she is about to die where will you turn?    Do you believe God does not love you?   Do you curse God?   This journey we are on is different for each of us.   It is the majesty of God that ordains this.   He can in a heartbeat change and turn our world upside down.

This happened to me!  I can assure you, any trial whether we want it or not, God decides.   In my case it was ‘encephalitis’. (1959)     If you know anything you know this is a disease there is no cure for and life will most certainly be over.    Yet in it all God was and is constant.    For the changing of a family occurs when a child is dying.    The experience  put me in a coma.    This was one month long.   It and its experience remain with me today.    I share this with you that you may believe.   For God is lovely.   He does not requite us for our sins but loves us because of them.    He knows all and is all, and because of all He waits.   He waits for each of us to come to Him, call upon Him and trust Him.    For though it may seem most unkind most unloving, His resolve proves itself through our faithfulness to Him.

We can only experience the growth and magnifisense of God is choosing to trust.   This is the ‘test’ He presents to each of us.

For in the scripture of ‘First Corinthians’ Chapter 10 verses 10-13

10)”Nor are you to grumble as some of them did, to be killed by the destroying angel.   11)The things that happen to them serve as an example.   They have been written as a warning to us, upon whom the end of ages has come.   12)_For all these reasons, let anyone who thinks he is standing upright watch out lest he fall! 13)  No test has been sent you that does not come to all men.   Besides, God keeps his promise.   He will not let you be tested beyond your strength.   Along with the test he will give you a way out of it  so that you may be able to endure it.”

So, why is it I lived, when so many die with this, even today?   That can only be answered by God.    Yet, I can tell you my family being Roman Catholic, prayed the rosary, and kept vigil that I would live.   This was done, by my Grandmother, Mother and Aunt.    (The Rosary is a series of prayers said on a strand of beades to the Blessed Virgin Mary’s intercession, to Our Lord.)    God decides who will live, who will die.   He also decides who the person will be.   For I was different after the illness.  (I AM TOLD.)   God did this.  For the ‘learning’ of everything all over again, was His desire.   For you know as I, He could have done it differently, but He has a master plan and His way is the only way.

For God chose to make things much more difficult, by the learning and understanding and the result of after effects  of the illness.    His design for my life is because of His love for me.   For I know His presence in my life is there because I believe in His great love for me, and that only because of His great love am I here at all!

GOD NEVER FORGETS

He went forth believeing he was truly wise.   Like any other he wanted only the best for his family.   But he forgot God never forgets.

When he puchased his farm, he was certain it would grow and prosper quickly.   For he had contacts.  He knew people that could and would ‘hook him up’!

When there was land for sale, He knew the county commissioner.   He had an in!   So when the bid was open for the purchase of property, he was sure to have the winning bid.  Oh, so wise was this farmer.   His family grew and he had many sons!

Where was God in all this?   The years went by and the farm grew and people could not believe the prosperity of this ‘new farmer’.    The family grew, the sons grew.  Life was perfect!

The eldest son took a job working for an anhydrous plant.   He was cleaning out the chemical and was found dead.   The judgment of God, is his alone.   God never forgets!

Two brother were looking at cars.  The youngest brother said, ” I’m going to buy that car.”   The oldest brother went and bought the car befor the youngest brother.  So proud was this brother!   The younger brother did not lodge retribution against his brother.  Where was God in all this?

Time went by and the  oldest brother was driving home from work, and a deer ran in front of him and the car was destroyed.  No one wins!   God never forgets!

Book of John: Chapter 13 verse 34-35

34)”I give you a new commandment: Love one another.   Such as my love has been for you, so must your love be for each other.

35)This is how all will know  you for my disciples:  your love for one another.”

Refined

To look at something and draw a conclusion is typical for all of us.   For instance: I was in a store preparing for our daughter’s wedding; I was hoping to find some accessories for the occasion.   I remember seeing the young lady in the store and thinking how beautiful she is and ‘oh to be so young and lovely.’.   She looked at me and said, “we do not cater to your age here.”  I was flabbergasted, and left with no remark or come back whats so ever.  I felt as though I was hit in the gut!

Thinking back, I can still not believe I was treated as such.  I have always tryed to take care of myself and can assure you the insult was bad enough, but the awakening of deception was apparent and vivid.   I learned immediatley how true the old adage, ‘you can not judge a book by its cover.’   The Lord Jesus says, everything will be revealed.   The truth was revealed to me very poignantly that day.

Though I have never held myself in high regard, I can assure you I left thankful that I was not that miserable in my soul.   For I realized she must be totally miserble to treat someone so ghastly.   She presumed I was buying for me, when indeed I was looking for our ‘bride.’

We think little about our actions toward each other, unless we are prayerful people.  I have noticed when people are not refined, they are rude and contemptuous.   For it is the refinement of  Our Lord Jesus Christ that brings us to the ‘fullness of life.’    Reaching and choosing to become refined is everything.   Nothing can compare to the peace it brings.   That is not to say it does not ‘hurt’.   For in ‘trusting’ Jesus to become pure and lovely, we have reached for the stars.   For He reigns among the stars.  Perfect, Pure, and True, Jesus was refined first.   He, accepting the Father’s will set forth the example and challenge to us all.

For what is it that one can think of that does not come to its fullness  without refinement.    When we consider ‘coal’ we know it has the capacity to heat a home, but also hidden within is the possability of a diamond.   If a rare piece of coal is found to be different, and we choose to have it refined, we find the beauty that resides within.   Yet, it is the cutting and crafting of that coal that reveals the diamond for what it is.   So to with oil.  When it becomes refined we find its greatest of qualities.   Both mineals  have wealth before refinement, but it is after the ‘transfiguration’ of the objects that the true worth is revealed!

Whether we wish to experience the process of refinement or not it is only we that can choose.   No one can do it for us.   The process is arduous and grueling, and its manifestation of change is achieved only over time.   Daily and without delay, the process reaps rewards beyond all human understanding.  Trust is the key factor, for it is we who allow another to make us in His image.   Though already made in His image we reach  perfection.   For Christ is perfect.   Only God can take and remake something more beautiful from whence it began.    For this refinement process is to prove to us, that there is nothing he can not do.   After ‘screwing up’ His perfect plan by sinning, He figured out a way to make us perfect in His sight once again.   Only God can do this.    So whatever the ‘mess’ it is He and only He who can ‘unscrew’ our frailties and make them whole.

In the case of coal or oil, you know if you have ever been able to touch them they are filthy.   The coal leaves a film that is called soot.
The oil leaves a layer that is almost impossiable to remove.    Both almost impossible to clean up.   So it is with us.   Our sins are so filthy that we can not clean them up, we can not even recognize them.   It it the eyes of the Lord, ‘ten thousand times brighter  than the sun’ that sees and reveals.   Only He can do this.   No mere human, no great mind, and no physical strength.    So whoever or whatever you hold to be the answer, it is only God with the answer.  No one but He has eyes ‘ten thousand times’ brighter than the sun.

Proverbs: Chapter 3 verses 11-12

11)’The discipline of the Lord, my son, disdain not; spurn not his reproof;12)For whom the Lord loves he reproves, and he chastises the son he favors.’

Book of Sirach Chapter 23:  verses 18-19

18)”And the man who dishonors his marriage bed and says to himself, ” who can see me?   Darkness surrounds me; no one sees me; why should  I fear to sin?”   Of the Most High he is not mindful.   19) Fearing only the eyes of men; He does not understand that the eyes of the Lord ten thousand times brighter than the sun, observe every step a man takes and peer into hidden corners.”
