GIFTS

When  we’re  compelled to write a card, or buy a gift for someone that comes to mind, it is usually because the reciever is in ‘need’ of it!  I have had friends tell me, ‘your card came at the most perfect time, I really needed that!’       Following that same desire were the three kings, that went to search for the new born King!  They ‘needed’ that!

They, felt a pulling of the ‘Holy Spirit’!    The star that shown so brightly was Gods confirmation that this was His desire!!    They, following the prompting of the Holy Spirit, made the long arduous journey!

Those three kings did not arrive empty handed!  Indeed, they each had a different gift!     As a matter of fact, so perfect were these gifts that the gifts, Frankincense, myrrh, and gold, were priceless!   Priceless as the ‘new born king ‘!!

Why?   Because God Our Father deemed it as such!    For who amongst us really ‘needs’ a gift?!   It is the spirit that governs the giving and the spirit that recieves!   Yet, to what degree is it recieved?

When a gift so priceless is taken for granted, and the giver, (God Our Father) is ignored, and the sacrifice ignored, where does that leave us?   Is this not an insult to God?

Loving, and giving, and forgiving, are of God!  When we oppose these gifts we oppose the love of God!   The love of God present in Jesus Christ, His Son, and the blessing of the Holy Spirit that guides us to Him!

In the Book of Luke chapter 8 verses 17-18 Jesus Speaks:

17)“There is nothing hidden that will not be exposed, nothing conealed that will not be made known and brought to light. 18) Take heed, therefore, how you hear; to the man who has, more will be given; and he who has not will lose even the little he thinks he has.”

To find Jesus is to pray, and desire His heart to be within our heart.   Our ‘gift’ that He waits for, is our heart!   He is a journey.   He promps our heart with a desire for more!   The answer to His call is our gift to Him.   He asks only that we love Him as  He loves us!

Book of Matthew, Chapter 2 verses 9-11

9)”After their audience with the king, they set out.   The star which they had observed at its rising went ahead of them until it came to a standstill over the place where the child was.   10)They were overjoyed at seeing the star, 11)and on entering the house, found the child with Mary his mother.   They prostrated themselves and did him homage.   Then they opened their coffers and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.”

INNOCENCE

When we hold a new life in our hands we experince an awe that can not be explained!   In some ways it feels as though heaven has kissed the earth in spendor!   It is an awakening of emotions we do not  readily experience, and so we feel refreshed, renewed, and joyful!

New life is  the magnificense of the handiwork of God!   It matters not what it is that is being born;but rather  the inner workings of the miraculous event!

In the days when I was young, and new life occurred on the farm, my innocence was protected!  The activites of ‘farm life’ was handled by the men!   A different time to say the least!    We hold innocence in a different light today!  Taken for granted, innocence is broken and  destroys the lovliness that is of God!

Maintaining  the innocence to children is essential!    Children are beautiful!    The Lord loves the little children.   So much so, that He  tells us in the Book Of Luke chapter 18  verse 16-17

16)but Jesus called for the children, saying: “Let the little children come to me.   Do not shut them off.   The reign of God belongs to such a these.   17)’Trust me’ when I tell you that whoever does not accept the kingdom of God as a little child will not enter into it.”

So beautiful is innocence,  that we all search for it!   Even the ‘Devil’ wants the  innocent as his own!     Gods great love is within the innocent.   So much so that He chose a ‘Young Virgin’ to be the Mother of His Son Jesus Christ!   This young woman was protected by God from conception to natural death!   God’s  plan for Her life was manifested through the trust and love of the inncence of that  young woman!   She with a fullness of love, ordained by God, ached to be pleasing  and holy to the love of the Father!   The life she was living was from Him!  She knew it, and so was obedient to Our Heavenly Father!

Yet, evil’s designs are to ‘steal’ the love of God from each heart!  Each heart, a creation from God, is under temptation!

In the Book of Matthew Chapter 18 verse2-6  and 10

2)”He called a little child over and stood him in their midst 3)and said,”I assure you, unless you change and become like  little children, you will not enter the kingdom of God. 4) Whoever makes himself lowly, becoming this child is of the greatest importance to that heavenly reign.” 5) “Whoever welcomes one such child for my sake welcomes me. 6) On the other hand, it would be better for anyone who leads astray one of these little ones who believe in  me to be drowned by a millstone around his neck, in the depths of the sea”

10)   “See that you never despise one of these little ones. I assure you, their angels in heaven constantly behold my heavenly Father’s face.”

We all have gaurdian angels!   These beautiful magnificent entities are assigned by God to each of us!    Yet, faith is essential!   For if one chooses to walk in darkness and close out the love of God through His own will, He diminishes that flow of light from God, and can not recognize evil when it comes upon him!

Many believe God abandons them when trials come!   This is wrong!   Very, Very Wrong!    For God is awsome!   He gave us a part of Himself, so that we may always believe!   He gave us His Son, Jesus!

Remember, it was we who betrayed Jesus !   Not Jesus who betrayed us!   For Evil twists our thinking to cause us to leave the love of God, and move to our own will!

The battle between good and evil is real!!  This is manifested through the eyes and life of Jesus Christ!   He is a living experience!    As new life takes form on earth, it comes only from the God who made us!

Innocence is breathtaking!  It refreshes, renews and restores hope.  So beautiful is innocence that God ordains it as the entrance into heaven, and Satan destroys it out of hate for God! Innocence should be gaurded and protected at all costs!   The love of a Father to His children and the love of a Mother to Her children protect and nurture their children safe-gaurding all that is pure and prescious to the Love Of God!

Book of John: Chapter 8 verse 12   Jesus speaks!   12)”I am the light of the world; No follower of mine shall ever walk in darkness; no he shall possess the light of life.”

WOW!

What, if anything, makes you stop and say, ‘Wow’?

Is it perhaps a Lakers game final shot, Kobe Bryant with the ball, from the outside with three tenth of a second left on the clock, swish, the three pointer counts!  Yet,the game is so close, the slow motion has to determine if the ball was off his fingertips with-in the alotted time? Wow!

Or is it perhaps twenty seconds left on the clock, Phillip Rivers puts up a long one into the end zone-TOUCH-DOWN!  Field goal is good! Game Over!

Or is it a line drive down the middle, out of the park, bases were loaded, Home Run!  It’s out of here!

Whatever your passion, even if it isn’t sports but you love it, the painting, the reading, the music!   They all lift the spirit and give joy to the day!  Yet, far more perfect, far more glorious, is the experince of the Most Holy Spirit!

Within our lives we have lovely moments that come and go and they give delight to our lives in many ways, yet nothing can match the blessing and grace of experincing the ‘HOLY SPIRIT’!     The gift of the Holy Spirit, is one of the three persons of the most Holy Trinity.

When the Light of the Holy Spirit is visited upon the chosen, many things can happen, but to be blessed and given this favor by God is most humbling!    God, being Our Heavenly Father, has in His infinite goodness chosen to find you, or I out of the multitudes and given us a ‘gift’ of HIMSELF, because He has been pleased, and found favor with us!    This gift is: WOW!  This gift is the greatest gift anyone can experience!   For it is to have been found favored by God!   The visitation of the Holy Spirit is a great blessing!   It’s wealth is priceless!   How can one compare an experience in the world, to an experience that is Heaven Sent?

God our Heavnly Father loves us all!  He is listening, watching, and loving!   He is our Father! He waits to hear from each of us!   No greater gift than that of the love of a Father to His children.     When God seeks you out and calls you by name, and loves you unconditionally, that is Love!   The Father has many gifts, the sharing of His most Holy Spirit, is definitly the ‘Wow ‘expereince!

To know the Father, one must go to the Son.  Jesus Christ is His Son.   His only begotten Son.   Jesus wants you to know the Father and Love the Father, and He waits for each of us to come to Him and make a home for Him in our heart!   Jesus will lead you to the Father.    For the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, are One!   ‘The Holy Trinity’ of God Our Father; One God in three persons!

The Book Of John Chapter 14 verses 23-27

23)Jesus answered: “Anyone who loves me will be true to my word, and my Father will love him;we will come to him and make our dwelling place with him.   24) He who does not love me does not keep my words.   Yet the word you hear is not mine; it comes from the Father who sent me.   25) This much have I told you while I was still with you; 26) The Paraclete, the HOLY SPIRIT whom the Father will send in my name, will instruct you in everything, and remind you of all that I told you.   27) ‘Peace”* is my farewell to you, my peace is my gift to you; I do not give it to you as the world gives peace.   Do not be distressed or fearful.”

THAT VICTORIOUS CROSS

Since the dawn of time, there have been great prophets, and eloquent speakers, and wisdom seemed a ‘gift’ entitled to them.

Yet, there has never been, nor will  there ever be one that reigns with the ‘King Of Kings’! Jesus Christ left behind many, many great teachings.   Yet, the greatest of all His worldly miracles  is the Victorious Cross!

Of all the great ones, Who can you think of that has left behind such a profound impression, as the Victorous Cross?   There have been many, Budda, Nostadomus, Confuscious, to name a few, but they were simply people.    They perhaps had wisdom, but the Cross of Christ is such because He is the Son of God!

For thousands of years, the Cross has stood!    Many have come and gone to profess the magnificense of the Cross of Christ and He who died on it!   They gave their lives for the Victorious Cross of Christ.   Some very wealthy, gave up everything, to walk with, and in Christ.    To experience such great love, to be so devoted, and so moved, as to put everything aside for the sake of the Victorious  Cross of Christ, is to be His ‘Beloved’!    The presence of the Messiah, is living within the world through the chosen, the ‘beloved’ of Christ!

Who are these, the beloved of Christ?    They are the many who walk in His Light, profess His teachings, and suffer for Him, with Him, and because of Him!   His great love, His great sacrifice, living, and breathing,  among us His chosen, His beloved!

The Cross of Christ remains today because God ordains it as such.     A Love so profound we in our minds can not imagine the maginificense of Our Heavenly Father.    A Father so loving, He chose to take His Only Beloved Son as a sacrifice for the whole world, so that all may come to know Him and His great Love for all mankind!

Jesus Christ, the Son Of God, with greatest humility and Love for His Father, accepted the will of His Father, and came to live among us the lowly.

We need Him!   He is the God of All!   The Father of All!   It is in Him that we live and breathe and have our being!   He, has done all for us.   We have only to accept His great love, and embrace His Son Jesus Christ as Our Lord and Savior!

The Light of the Word is still among us, yet, the hour is fast approaching where Our Lord will claim His bride, (the Roman Catholic Church) call His own Beloved, and the world will fall to darkness.

God is Love!   Yet, God does instruct, teach, and admonish!   This is the Love of a Father! Yet, because everything is of the Father, it is the Father that will decide when time will stop!

For time is of God!   Make no mistake about it!   God lives and breathes in you and I!   For life is of the Father, but ETERNAL LIFE IS OF THE SON, JESUS CHRIST!     This is absolute!   Debate it if you will,  but,  Jesus Christ is the ‘Light of the World’!   He died on Good Friday, and rose on Easter, so that all may believe, and come to eternal life.

Yet, it is ‘free will’ that determines what side you choose.   For we all are given ‘free will’ and we all have to choose whether we will accept Christ or reject Christ, as the Savior of the World.

He waits!   He waits for many!   For many have not known Christ!  Many do not wish to know Christ,  for they are happy in their ‘free will’!   This however will come to an end!   Where we choose to spend eternity, is up to each of us!

On who’s side will you remain?

Jesus speaks: Book of Mark,  Chapter 8 verses 34-38

 THE DOCTRINE OF THE CROSS:

34) He summoned the crowd with his disciples and said to them: “If a man wishes to come after me, he must deny his very self, take up his cross, and follow in my steps. 35)Whoever would preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s  will preserve it. 36) What profit does a man show who gains the whole world and destroys himself in the process? 37)What can a man offor in exchange for his life! 38) If anyone in this faithless and corrupt age is ashamed of me and my doctrine, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes with the holy angels in his Father’s glory.”

Book of Mark Chapter 10  verses 23-25

23) Jesus look around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!” 24)The disciples could only marvel at his words. So Jesus  repeated what he had said: “My sons, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! 25) It is easier for a camel to pass through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

Jesus Speaks: Book of John Chapter 14  verse 23

23)Jesus answered: “Anyone  who loves me will be true to my word, and my Father will love him; we will come to him and make our dwelling place with him.”

Romans Chapter 13 verses 11-14

11)“Take care to do all these things for you know the time in which we are living.   It is now the hour for you to wake from sleep, for our salvation is closer than when we first accepted the faith. 12) The night is far spent; the day draws near.   Let us cast off deeds of darkness  and put  on  the  armor of light.   13) Let us live honorably as in daylight; not in carousing and drunkeness, not in sexual excess and lust, not in quarreling and jealousy. 14) Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the desires of the flesh.”

Jesus speaks Book of John: Chapter 21 verses 8-11

8) He said, “Take care not to be misled.   Many will come in my name saying, ‘I am he’ and ‘the time is at hand.’  Do not follow them.   9)Neither must you be perturbed when you hear of wars and insurrections.   These things are bound to happen first, but the end does not follow immediatley.”   10) Then he said to them further: “Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.  11) There will be great earthquakes, plagues, and famines in various places-and in the sky fearful omens and great signs.”

PATIENCE

From the dawn of time patience has been.   It is absolute!   Wisdom is with he who learns patience.   For patience is a requirement of God!

God, through -out the Holy Bible instructs His children in patience!   When the ‘flesh’ tires of waiting on the desires of God, calamity strikes!   This may not reveal itself for what it is right away; but ‘God never forgets'(another topic of writing within this blog) and He will outlast us every time!

When we choose to do our will, and live by our designs for our lives; He waits!   He in His infinite wisdom, trys us!   In other words, He allows conflicts to awaken us, to cause us to look toward Him, instead of ourselves for answers!   Wisdom!   God is wisdom!   You can not buy wisdom, it is infinite!   God gives it to those who trust in His ways!   When called upon and asked for God does not disappoint!  It is awsome!   For He does not always give us what we ask for, but rather gives us what is better!   The majesty of God, may allow it to be seen as a disappointment at first, but remaining steadfast and trusting, it reveals itself for the desires of our hearts, way beyond our greatest expectations!

So, the desire impressed upon your heart, when you are in communion with God through prayer, is because the most HOLY SPIRIT (one of the three persons of the Father, the Holy Trinity:’The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) has come upon you!  This perfect love is available to all, but few desire it, and find it!

In the days of old, from the Book of Genesis through out history, the instruction of Our Holy Father God, has been patience!   This is the binding of the relationship of God to man!   For without this, we can not know the Father!   He draws us in!   It is His desire that proves itself for the majesty He is!   When we stray, we are called to His side!   Often times, when this occurrs, it may make us feel He has abandoned us!   This is where ‘patience’ is called upon!   For God Never Forgets!

From the dawn of time, God has instructed us in the diligence of patience.   When impatience was found, catastrophy struck.

God found favor with Abel rather than Caine, God instructed
Cain to be patient and persevere, to remain far from ‘evil’ for evil waits.   Cain did not want to wait to win God’s favor, and took it upon himself to Kill his brother.    This offended God and God banished Cain, so that his work would never be fruitful.(The story of Cain and Abel : Book of Genesis Chapter 4 verses 1-16) or  In this blog under ‘favorites’ the story  of the two brothers.

Another case of impatience with God: Chapter  15 of Genesis: God’s covanant with Abraham. Verses – 5)”He (God)took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars, if you can, Just so, “He added, “shall  your decendants be.”  Verse 18: “It was on that occasion that the Lord made a covenant with Abram , saying: “to your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to  the Great River(the Euphrates),….)

Chapter 16 Birth Of Ishmael:   Verses 1-4  verse 12

Having grown impatient with God: 1 )”Abram’s wife Sarai had borne him no children.   She had, however, an Egypian maidservant named Hagar. 2) Sarai said to Abram: “The Lord has kept me from bearing Children. Have intercourse, then, with my maid; perhaps I shall have sons through her.: Abram heeded Sarai’s request.3)Thus, after Abram had lived ten years in the land of Canaan, his wife Sarai took her maid, Hagar the Egyptian, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his concubine. 4)He had intercourse with her, and she became pregnant.   When she became aware of her pregnancy, she looked upon her mistress with disdain.”

12)”He shall be a wild ass of a man, his hand against everyone, and everyones hand against him; In opposition to all his kin shall he encamp”

Birth of Isaac Chapter 21  verses 1-5

1)” The Lord took note of Sarah as he had said he would; he did for her as he had promised. 2) Sarah became pregnant and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time that God had stated. 3) Abraham gave the name Isaac to this son of his whom Sarah bore him. 4)When his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him as God had commanded. 5)Abraham was one  hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.”

The beginning of wisdom ” Book Of Sirach  verses 10-11

10)”He who finds wisdom is great indeed, but not greater than he who fears the LORD.   11) Fear of the LORD surpasses all else, its possessor is beyond comapare.”

Through out time, God has instructed His children in wisdom.   Patience, being one of the twelve fruits of the’Holy Spirit’!   In the Book of Sirach Chapter 2 verses 1-6 and verse 11

1)”My Son, when you come to serve the Lord, prepare yourself for trials. 2)Be sincere of heart and steadfast, undisturbed in time of adversity. 3) Cling to him, forsake him not; thus will your future be great. 4)Accept whatever befalls you, in crushing misfortune be patient; 5) For in fire gold is tested, and worthy men in the crucible of humiliation, 6) Trust God and he will help you; make straight your ways and hope in him.”

11)”Compassionate and merciful is the Lord; he forgives sins, he saves in time of trouble.”

The Book of Genesis is the First Book of the Holy Bible and teaches us of Gods plan for mankind.   The Holy Bible holds countless stories of the hand of God at work with His Children.  If you desire to know more of the Love Of God, then puchase a most Holy Bible.  For then the beginning of wisdom will take root.   For the Bible is the living word of God.   The Old and New Testaments are an enlightening of the mind and heart of God Our Father through Jesus Christ His Son, in union with the most Holy Spirit of God the Father.   The experience is real.  Do not shy away but be courageous in the spirit, and God will not disappoint, but fulfill and make you whole. (the New American Catholic Bible, has all the testaments and words of our Lord.)

Within the New Testament, you will remember when Mary was to give birth to Jesus, she and Joseph did not find room in the Inn.  Rather, Joseph persevered to find the ‘stable’.   For God so desired this, that man would know that the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, was like all men.

Here again, the God of us all, proves the spirit with patience.   Though Mary and Joseph were holy, and appointed by God, He still proved the spirit with patience.

For God shows Himself in majesty when we persevere in patience.  He adorns us with a crown of favor.   For His delight is to bless His children.   He loves us so, that as a person who is a Father on earth instructs his child to fulfill a task before he is given an ‘allowance’ so does God instruct us to do for Him, before an ‘allowance’ is given.   Not because God is unloving, and not because the Father on earth is unloving but rather to teach, enlighten, and enrich the ‘child’ of the love of the Father.   For the Fathers instruction teaches, respect, patience, persevernce, and faith, hope and charity.   The wisdom of God Our Father, is all encompassing.  For everything He sends, He teaches.   So above our thinking is our Heavenly
Father, that only through the instruction of the Holy Spirit, can we come to a deeper understanding of this great love.

The examples here-in are meant to be an awakening to the spirit.    For God proves with time!  He reveals in time.   Only in staying in steadfastness to the love of God can we reach perfection.   Perfection which is of the Father, through His Son Jesus Christ, in union with the Holy Spirit, One God forever and ever!   AMEN!

Luke Chapter 2 verse7)

7)”She gave birth to her first-born son and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the place where travelers lodged.”

THE HOLY FAMILY

In the days of the lives we lead; we discover quickly there is no one home.  For some of us, this is reality.   It took form and never changed back.   The heartbeat of the home is said to be the Mother, and the backbone of the family is the father.   Together they make up a unity designed by God.

The Family nucleus is in shreds!   Why?   There is no one home.   The desire for more stuff, more independence, more, more, more!   Unfortunatley  the children are the ones suffering!   For to come home, and the house is empty, the quiet reigns loudly; what is a child to do?   When they have been picked on at school, or they missed the bus, or they don’t feel good, who answers the call?

The breakdown in the family unit is a tradgedy!   Children are tossed a twenty and told to order a pizza!  Children are called from the office and told to do their homework, children are screamed at because the parents are exhausted, and patience is nil!   Who Cares?!

The design of the human family was intended for a husband and wife to build a home together.   To raise a family together!   However, there are more single parents than nescessary!   The Holy Family, Jesus, Mary and Joseph, are to be our example to a unified family.   Why is it that when something works, people believe they can improve on what God has designed and proven!
This is everywhere!  Mankind deems God is to strict and chooses to malign life to work on the aspects of his own will.  Thereby creating a world that is in chaos!

Some of us remember, the days of playing outside, without a dozen toys, the days when imagination was king.   The days when quiet was.   Now, there is noise and toys, and games, tattoos, piercings, and streeked hair, and anything one can think of to draw attention to a child.   Clothing is a joke!  People do not dress for anything anymore.   The days were when one saved their Sunday Best for Sunday!   The nice shoes, and the ‘nice clothes, were for church and you did not wear them to school. Propriety was important! Manners were enforced, and discipline was not a bad word!  Now, we have chaos!   Why?   The heartbeat of the home is  not beating!  For who can possiably make a difference when they are not there!  ‘Parenting’ is hired!

If there was ever a need to recognize the importance of a Mother at home, it is now!!  There is no price high enough for the value of a Mothers Love!  Her caress, and Her understanding, Her hugs, and kisses to make it better!   What amount of money can make up for such a gift?   What toy, what show, and what game are more important than the love a child recieves from his or her Mother?

The core to a family is Prayer!  Years ago, there was a saying,’The Family that Prays together stays together!’   Yet, when Mother got a career, and was no longer home, who was there to teach the fine art of living?   Now, we have either bad manners or no manners in many of our children.   The family time is rare.   So much so, that most are fortunate if they eat one meal together a day!   Where is the bonding time?  Remember bonding?  You know, the nurturing that comes from being together.   It is no wonder divorce is high and children are straying far from home.  Then again, many believe once children are teen- agers they can fend for themselves!   This is rediculous!   For, they are more confused in there teens then they realize.

What does it take to fix a family?   The Love of God in the center nuceus of the family is a beginning.   If no one ‘needs church’ no one needs prayer, and no one needs attention, then what happens?  Does the source that is all good and all loving , not begin to die?   We all need!   We need time, compassion, understanding, and patience.

The excuses that are found to deter the mind from ‘understanding’ is prevelent.   The choice to believe is rare.   To come to an understanding, we must choose to believe.  For God is everywhere and wishes to hear from everyone!

So many times people tell me they do not believe in community prayer, (church)!   This is a big part of why we are in the situation we are in.  Prayer and its magnanimous force is real!  Yet, what works when it is not applied?   Really, people spend on booze,  drugs, sex, pornography and anything else that will possiably fill their void!   The void that resides within is a craving fom the Holy Spirit, for the soul to cry out to God Our Father!  A force so powerful it keeps one thirsting for more!   Jesus is the living water!  The Son of God!  The enlightenment of grace that fills the mind.

If you find yourself fighting in your family, the liquor bill nescessary as food on the table, and drugs a need to deter the anxiety, and distractions to others outside the marriage, then the spirit within you is thirsting for God! Our Heavenly Father is waiting!

Many say to me, ‘I don’t need church’!  ‘I can pray at home!’   Well, do you?  People allow themselves to become stagnat!  To find balance to living begins with God!  God being first and foremost!   Then the love that was dormant will become refreshed and renewed!

There are Seven Deadly Sins!   They are: Pride, covetous, Lust, Anger, Gluttony, Envy, Sloth!   These are Satan’s  Tools!   One leads to another, until you have lost your way entirely!  If you doubt my words, I dare you to try to live, without experiencing the change within, once the truth is applied!  The Truth is the teachings of Jesus Christ!  They are the Ten Commandmentds lived out by Our Lord!  Apply them, embrace them, and experience them, and the transfiguration your soul thirsts for will emerge!  Book of Romans Chapter 13 verses 9-10 and Romans Chapter 14 verse 7-10   If you doubt then search for yourself to find the truth to living! Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life, and no one goes to the Father but through Him!

Do you think Mary worked outside the home?   Do you think Joseph sat down with a drink at the end of the day, and yelled at Jesus?   Do you think Jesus yelled at Joseph and Mary?   The ‘Holy Family’ is such because they are our example to living a happy fulfilled family life!   Everything else will fail!   It has been proven!  The world and the family are in disarry!   For until God is first, God is embraced and the Love of Jesus Christ experienced, the family unit will continue to decay!

Pray, and prayer will change your life!  Satan, all that is temptation will pull you in unless you choose to put God first as Jesus, Mary, and Joseph did!

BELIEVE-2-BE-LIVE

OUCH!   Have you ever had your hand slammed in a car door?   Some of us have!   You don’t readily forget it!

In the heartland of rural American farm life, you can incur many forms of injury!  Usually not to major if you keep your wits about you.

On one occasion, the day was very windy, and the person put their hand on the top of the truck to reach down; the wind took the door and the thumb was severed!   It was still there, but the injury was grave, the skin was holding the thumb.   The party had to drive themselves to town to the hospital.    On call was a doctor specializing in joint surgery.   The thumb was his ‘specialty’!   He took the opportunity to teach the doctors how to re-affix the thumb.   The thumb was successfully re-attatched, and the party has full use of the thumb.   God is everywhere.

The Mother was in labor and having a most difficult time.   She was rushed to the hospital.   The baby was in trauma!   Prayers were being sent up by the family.    The baby died, but was resuscitated.   The baby was dead six minutes, and the fear of the family was she would be disabled. (not normal as we know normal to be.)    She  was born ‘spina bifida’ and is in the top three percent of the University in which she attended!  She graduated with honors and  She was elected to go onto ‘Harvard’ for graduate work!   God is present, and God is working!  She is very very spiritual, and gifted!

She was in a coma, and there were no answers.   She was taken to a hospital in Fargo, ND where a renown doctor was visiting, and diagosed the disease to be encephalis.   The parents were given the word, that she would not live through the night!    The prayers were sent up.   She made it through the night.   The coma lasted one month.      She did not speak for a month.   Though she had to be taught all over again, she lived!   God is Good!  God is present and God is working!  The personality of the child changed, and the spirituality of her today is constant, and ever present.

God is working!    God is present!    God decides!    When obsticals come our way, and life is difficult, we can choose to betray God, or we can choose to trust God.    God answers are not always the ones we want to hear, but He does answer!    Whether we choose to believe of disbelieve, is  up to each of us!   I can tell you, it is a miracle to believe!   It is easy to say it is a coincidence, or a fluke!

What does it take for one to  want to experience the Love Of God?

We must want to believe!    I tell you this:    There are some who have indeed seen heaven, and profess this outwardly, only to find people scoff at their experience.

To experience the manifestation of great love, we must want it, search for it, and crave it!   If we do, and we persevere in our journey, the most astounding of thing happens, we find that faith we so thirsted for.

Jesus speaks int he Book of John: Chapter 7 verses 37-38

37)On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood up and cried out:

“If anyone thirsts, let him come to me; let him drink 38)who believes in me.   Scripture has it:’ From within him rivers of living water shall flow.'”

PANDORA’S BOX

Misunderstandings are constant.    They can destroy!  Does not seem like such a simple word could do so much damage.   Yet, indeed it does!   Sometimes to last for generations.   Only to find, no one remembers why one family should not talk to the other!

In the case of Pandora’s Box, which is a mythical term appropriated to the releasing of evil upon the world.   Pandora’s box is defined in Webster Dictionary as: “the box sent by the gods with pandora as a gift to Epimetheus, which she was forbidden to open and which loosed a swarm of evils upon mankind when she opened it out of curiosity. (a prolific source of troubles.)”

The ‘nature of the beast’ is curiosity!   When we go where we should not tread, opposing the instructions of our parents, or the guide lines of our Christian upbringing, we incur an onset of problems that are difficult to eradicate!

Though ‘Pandora’s Box is mythical it succintly embodies the ‘flesh filled’ human side of us all.   We can not escape it.   Unfortunately, we misunderstand each other, and choose not to question, but rather to close each other out!

When feelings are hurt and discontent reigns, we allow anger to surface.   This (one of the seven deadly sins) allows evil to permeate the mind.   Why?   Simply because we can not fix what we refuse to address.   Coming to terms with our short-comings is hurtful!   We must allow ourselves to reflect on our sinfulness.   The only way to improve ourselves is choosing to want to be honest.    That takes courage.   Courage few have, for if they did, they would indeed choose prayer.   For prayer opens a line of communication up, that the spiritual person embraces!   A living presence in an unforgiving world.

When Jesus walked the earth, He was misunderstood!   To the point of being crucified!   Truth is not easy!   Truth is only available to the courageous!   For the person who does not deem truth, does not pray.   For truth manifests growth, growth in the spirit!

There are times when people lose their ‘cool’.   When hurt, we walk away!   However, the injustice of it, we cheat ourselves out of the truth!

When it is ourselves who have been closed out, we feel hurt intensified!   Hurt, causes responses that are not forgiving and loving!  This starts in the mind.   If we are wise, we will reflect and pray.   When we do this with a open heart and listen, we experience a ‘heaviness’ of heart when ‘evil’ has centered itself within.    This is an enlightening of sorts.   We may find ourselves needing to appologize, even though in the mind we think we did nothing wrong.   In other words, being the bigger person.

When Jesus said,’forgive seventy times seven’ He meant endlessly.   Not an easy feat.   Yet, it is what brings ‘peace’.   For it is not who is right or who is wrong, but rather about ‘peace’ in the heart and peace in the soul.   Once we are able to get over ourselves, and do the forgiving that is required of us, we experience this peace, and rise to a ‘higher’ realm of spirituality!   Very Real!   Very much a blessing from our Lord, because He is pleased we chose to become ‘Christ-like’!   He knows the temptations of evil are pushing us to hold that grudge to file for that divorce, to write off that brother or sister, scream at that neighbor, or curse at that ‘friend’!   But, because He is awsome, He elevates us to a higher level of understanding, and faith!

The Human Mind is so complex, that even if you are smart enough to learn the ‘stuff’ to become a neurologist, (brain doctor) you will never find the answers!    For God makes the impossiable, possible.   Somtimes, A doctor will say this, defies all human understanding!    God is ever present!   He does not mince words.   If He wants it, it is.   No one or anything will change that.   If we oppose God,   He will hold us accountable, until we get it!  He is patient! He understands, and He forgives; yet make no mistake about it, God is Love!  Yet, God should never be taken for granted!   For God is all powerful and never forgets!

In other words, and all powerful, all loving God, has His rules and Has guidelines! We have but to be obedient, to appreciate such great love.    For in choosing obediance, we achieve understanding.   Patience, then rises to produce the peace we all strive for and crave.

Because we can not possiably understand the source and inner workings of each other, we must work to avoid judging.   The following is of Christ and He speaks:

Book of Matthew : Chapter 7 verses 1-5

“If you want to avoid judgment, stop passing judgment. 2) Your verdict on others will be the verdict passed on you.   The measure with which you measure will be used to measure you. 3) Why look at the speck in your brother’s eye when you miss the plank in your own? 4) How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take that speck out of your eye,’ while all the time the plank remains in your own? 5)You hypocrite! Remove the plank from your own eye first; then you will see clearly to take the speck from your brothers eye.”

TEMPTATION

…..’AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION, AND DELIVER US FROM EVIL….AMEN.

When Jesus was asked how to pray, this is what He said:

“Our Father Who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will, be done, on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen   ‘For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, now and forever! Amen!

Really, the Lord did not mince words!  He said what needed to be said, and He said it very succinctly.    The above prayer, known as the ‘LORDS PRAYER” is often said in rote, and with very little reflection on each sentence and the profoundness of its impact!
For, this all encompassing prayer says it all!   It covers every aspect of living, and how to handle that aspect!   He pretty much tells us how to live,  what is expected, and trust in that prayer!    So it is a favorite of all christian   churchs everywhere!    Most everyone I speak to is familiar with the prayer, sometime called, ‘The Our Father’!

The Our Father is so powerful, that you can feel the very presence of the Holy
Spirit when it is said.    The prayer is really all we need to know to know how to live.   Yet, Jesus went forward and lived out the ‘Ten Commandments’ suffered, and died on a cross, rose  again, and ascended into heaven to judge the living and the dead!   He did not stop at the ‘Our Father’!   He did not presume a little was alot!   He lived life out fully, and knew what was expected of Him!    The LORD, Our truest exmple to living life, left behind many many examples, and ‘quotations’ and even left behind that magnificent CROSS!    Why?   Because He knew people would not remember words, the examples would be  stifled, but the power of ‘the cross’ remains!

No matter what a persons spiritual level of growth; if one professes Christ and knows Christ and loves Christ, then one knows the Cross!    The Cross, His alone , is powerful even to look at!  It is eternal life!   For anyone who understands why the cross stands, also understands the power it exudes!   For He who died on it was a mere man, who was predestined by God, to over come Evil!   A real force in a world our Heavenly Father created!   It is His and His alone!  And He, Our Heavenly Father, deemed it so!  It was His to take back, win back, and maintain, and so He did!    Through His only Son Jesus Christ, salvation came to a broken world!   A world that two thousand and some years later, can still realize its magnificense, if it were to choose to.   For Christ did not die in vain!   If it were so, we would not have the cross today!    Jesus Christ is so powerful, His spirit so real, and His love so profound, that should one choose Christ, one will never be alone!   Jesus is ever present in each of His own!   He calls each by name and knows their where-abouts!  He is the Alpha and Omega!   The beginning and the end, and on His name ever knee will bend, in heaven, on earth, and under the earth!   God did this!    When God is pleased,  no gift,  and no sacrifice,is as perfect as the blessing of Almighty God the Father in our lives!   Our Heavenly Father, gave us His Son!  His son, pleased Him so, that He has given Him the keys to the kingdom of heaven!   How would you like that?!   God the all powerful, the all loving and the all encompassing, is all to all and because of all, is!!   We only can dream of Him!  He is, and we are because He is, and deemed it as such!    So, if you, or I get to reighteous in our thinking, it would do us well to remember the Lord gives and the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord!

I say this because, a world of normalacy can change in a heart beat!   Please do not forget your life and mine are gifts!  His gift to us, life, eternally with Him in heaven through His Son Jesus Christ who died on the Cross so all may live!

Free Choice is ours alone!  Our Father wants us to want Him!  In wanting Him, we will find Him if we search for Him!   For God turns no one away!    The teachings of Jesus, His Son unfold to a greater understanding of the will and love of God!   ‘Peace is my gift to you’! Jesus says!   And so it is !   Yet, it must be desired!

You only get what you want when you strive for it!   For scriputure has it, ‘ anything easily attained is easily lost’!   He said it clearly, time and again.   You will not find the kingdom easily, it is a journey!

When life is lived, it is lived as a journey, even today.   As the ‘three kings’ journeyed to find the Christ Child, so we must journey to find the Christ Child!   I want to make this clear!   Jesus does come when you call upon Him and ask Him into your heart; yet, He must be lived daily, experienced daily, loved daily!  He is a person!  He has feelings!   The relationship is a ‘growing one’!   He is profound!   You can not ‘know’ the depth of magnifesense without spending time with Him! As with anyone, spending time enlightens the mind to the spirit of the person you are keeping company with, so with Jesus!

Would you like it if someone professed to know you and they met you but once?   Can you know someone, by meeting them once?  Hardly!  So, to be true to yourself and the Lord, know Him intimatley, spend time with Him intimatley, and feel the growth of the presence of ‘great love’!  Nothing will match it!

Having built a reputation of being a ‘devoted christian’ I have had people call me and ask me different things, and I have always tryed to offor a prayer to the ‘HOLY SPIRIT’ before answering.   WHY?   Because the insight of God is manifested through the Holy Spirit, where Christ resides with the Holy Trinity!  God in three persons,  Father, Son and Holy Ghost!  (though Holy Ghost) was changed to Holy Spirit, they are the same!

Make no mistake about it! The peace that transcends all understanding resides in the spirit of God the Father, through Jesus Christ His Son, in union with the Holy Spirit!  For the spirit of  God is what gives us life.   The spirit of the Son of God gives eternal Life and the Holy Spirit leads us and enlightens  us within,  creating the ‘Holy Trinity’!   Deep, very Deep, but very real!

Prayer is to the Soul, like air is to the body!   You can see neither, but both exist!   Both are real and both are essential!   Without oxygen, the body will die, without prayer, the soul will die!

The days of a man or womans life are up to God!  We have only so much time to come to and understanding that ‘free will’ is opposing to God!   It is a choice!   Choose God, or choose ‘free will’!   The Fathers Blessings are of such greatness, once could not possiably give way to them.   For they must be experienced!   Some things in this life must be experinced, and can never be explained, so it is… the graces and favors He gives they are insurmountble.   Yours for the taking!   By trusting, loving, and submission! “‘Thy will be done’ on earth as it is in heaven,…”   Jesus said it, and it is so!   AMEN!   GO WITH GOD!!

SECRETS

That which we hold in the very deepest recesses of our hearts; that which is unspoken and left to God alone, remains!

The deepest secrets of the soul, He knows.   Though left unsaid, they remain.   The love that was lost and never realized, the love that was, and was not meant to be, and the love that is, but will never be.

The heart that beats within each of us, makes us unique to God alone.   Our hearts are His desire.   What reigns there in, He knows about already.   Though unspoken, it remains in the corners of our minds, never to be revealed, for it hurts.

He knows the disappointments of this life, and understands.   He, Our Heavenly Father was there then and is there now.  He is no stranger to disappointment!   For God’s disappointment was realized upon the origination of ‘original sin’.    For it was then that His Master Plan was broken.   Then, that all He wanted to share with all His children was provoked and scoffed at.   Only to be realized and perfected through the death of His Only Son Jesus Christ, the redeemer of the world.

Though one perfect act of pure love was realized, God is still disappointed!   For the Son that died so brutally that first ‘Good Friday’, was only able to win a few, very very few to the Father.   Not for lack of trying, but rather, because of the stubborness of man.    For it was the will of the Father to win back mankind, through the Son.   Free will,  His gift to us, causes the greatest gift ever to be unrealized, still today.

Miracle after miracle, testimony after testimony, yet, still alone, betrayed, and abandoned, Jesus waits!     A perfect, pure, sacrfice for all, but refused by many.   This is why God understands disappointment.    A Fathers love so great, that He was willing to sacrifice a part of Himself, so His love may be realized!

The Son desiring only to please the Father, took the sins of the world upon Himself!   God is perfection!   Perfection realized through the love of the Son!

To come to the Father and to realize such deep love, we must find the Son, search the Son, and come to know the Son!   For in coming to know the Son, it is then we come to know our Heavenly Father!

Book of John, Chapter 3 verse 35-36

35)”The Father loves the Son, and has given everything over to Him. 36)Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life.   Whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure the wrath of God.”

So next time, the deepest recesses of your heart crys out, for a love that was never realized and will never be, realize the Father feels your pain!   He crys with you, and I; for Sin destroys!   Sin separates  us from the love of God!   For God gave us the Son to realize the truth.   He has done for us, it is up to us to decide if we wish to do for the Father.

Our Heavenly Father has given us the Holy Spirit to lead us through this life.   When we come to the Son and realize the love of the Father, the Holy Spirit enlightens our Way!   Another gift of the Father!   Endless and boundless are the Gifts of our Heavenly Father, as any Father for His child, yet we must ask!

Book of Matthew: Chapter 7 verses7-11

“Jesus Speaks”(1)”Ask, and you will recieve.   Seek, and you will find, knock, and it will be opened to you. (8) For the one who askes, receives.   The one who seeks, finds.   The one who knocks enters.  (9) Would one of you hand his son a stone when he askes for a loaf, (10) or a poisonous snake when he askes for a fish? (11) If you with all your sins, know how to give your children what is good, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to anyone who asks him!”
