HEART TO HEART

When its heartfelt, what is it?   Does it take on greater meaning when someone says its ‘heartfelt’?

The state of our hearts are in conflict with each other from time to time.    That is why we quarrel and argue.  Issues ensue derission, and anger rises, and dissention begins.   It unfolds quickly and all parties walk away bitter, and unhappy!  Disillusioned to say the least!

What happened?   Seems to be the question of the day!  Trouble here is that when this occurs, it lingers!!   No one is willing to amend the situation.   It can hang out there for years!   Remember the story of the “Hatfields and the McCoys?”   Or how about “Romeo, and Juliet?”   Division was the driving force in the outcome here.

The heart is so deep that it encompasses our passions, our loves, our minds, our health!      We love because of our hearts.   We do, because our spirits collide!   A soul-mate.  However, people change and the spirit that resides within is govened by the heart too.   We can not separate the two until we die!   God’s infinite wisdom did this!   We must prove our love to Him!!  He proved His love to us!  Now it is our turn.

Today, we see and hear so much unrest we can not help to be astonished!   People killing families, people killing babies, people killing, killing, killing!   Why?   God is present and waits for each beating heart!   We must call upon Him!   Jesus Christ is God incarnate!   A relationship with Him is to know the love of the Father!

Seek Him out and you will find Him!   God will lead you to what you need! It all goes back to God!   He started this, and His design will not fail!

To understand what a force we are in each others lives is not for us to know, but to take on faith!

Recently I was watching ‘old movies’!  One was, “Life with Father”. It was about a Father that mentioned in the course of a conversation that He had never been baptized!   The wife does not rest until the husband is baptized.   Writtein in 1947, but set in 1888, it shows the value of living with morality.   Family was the heart of the movie, the role Father has in a family, and everyones concern for Fathers soul.   A different time to say the least.   Somewhere we have lost focus down here.   God has been put on a back burner!

Pollyanna was another lovely movie.   The child ‘Pollyanna’ was an orphan, who’s father was a preacher,  that died suddenly, leaving Pollyanna to be adopted   by her, wealthy, bitter, spinster aunt.   Through a series of events the little girl ‘enriches’ the town with the knowledge of the ‘love of God’.   Set in the 1920’s the movie shows what a differnce we all make, even a little child!

Another wonderful movie that depicts very well the force we are in each others life is: “It’s A Wonderful Life”!  A marvelous movie with James Stewart and Donna Reed!  Again it shows the state of the heart and what happens when we lose heart!  James Stewart after almost losing soul asks God to help!  A perfect example of loving and being loved is everything!   God, is in His wisdom showing all of us, through the actions of those who depict these movies, the magnanimous force we are to each other.   For sometimes a kind word, or a lovely deed is the greatest gift of all.    ‘Love One another as I have loved You!’

The state of the heart must be nourished!  Jesus is the nourishment the heart mind and soul need.

Jesus needs to hear from you, just as he desired I tell you, who you are makes a difference!

Years ago, when my children were in High School, my daughter came home and put a ‘purple ribbon’ on me.   It said, “Who you are makes a differnce”!  She then said, “Mom, I want you to know, Who you are makes a differnce to me!”  I was so very touched, because the teen years are not easy years.   It is not a ‘cake  walk any time, but the teen years have all their own challenges.

She told me to pass it on!  So, I did!   With that experience came a story.   It seems there was a executive Father that was a ‘hard driving force’ at work.   One day, his secretary pinned this ribbon on him,  and said the same words, Erin said to me.

The executive, came home and pinned the purple ribbon on his teen age son and told him, he knew he never said it enough, but he loved him and who he was made a diffence in his life.  The son sat down and wept!   The Father, surprised and astounded, asked what’s wrong?    The son then told his Dad he was going to kill himself that night, because he thought no one cared!

The beauty of loving, the heart to heart of living is what Jesus was getting at!  Love! The love of a Father who loves His children He gave His Only Son for the Salvation of the whole world!  Won’t you try on this love?   This incredible journey we are all on is for the sake of our souls.   The love of a God so great He has seen to it you know He loves you!

WHO YOU ARE MAKES A DIFFERNCE TO ME, AND EVERYONE YOU MEET!  GOD BLESS YOU!  MERRY CHRISTMAS!

The Great Commandment: Mark Chapter 12 verses 30-31

30)”Therefore, you shall love tha Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.

31)This is the second, ‘you shall love your neighbor as yourself’.   There is no other commandment greater than these.”

He brought forth a part of himself, that the world may know the true ‘Glory of God’!

For it is this ‘ Little King’ that grew to be a man, and held ‘open’, His outstretched arms,  so that heaven could touch the earth in splendor!   So, He, Jesus, may take my hand  and yours, and, bring us to Our Father, in heaven.  A gift!  A sharing of His-self, so that all may know the ‘Glory of God’!

God gave us Jesus;  Jesus gave himself,  so that in giving ourselves we may know God.

This is Christmas.  A gift!   A Savior!

Pure love!  Found only in the Son of God so the Glory of God may be realized, this Christmas and always!   Merry Christmas!  May God Bless you!

THE POWER OF PRAYER:

JESUS SPEAKS: MATTHEW:  CHAPTER 7 VERSE 7

7)“Ask, and you will recieve.   Seek, and you will find.  Knock, and it will be opened to you.”

When Jesus spoke, He referred to Himself.   In other words, if you want Him, ‘ask’ Him into your heart!   Then after asking Him in, ‘seek’ Him out.  In the scriptures, in the Holy Mass, in the applying of the teachings to your life. (Keeping the Ten Commandments, refusing the Seven Deadly Sins!) ‘ Knock’ on His Heart continuously!  Probe the Heart of Jesus Christ, by ‘knocking’ and visiting, and keeping company with Him! Then He will ‘open’ His heart to you.  This is Jesus!  This is finding your way to Him and keeping Him!

A GIFT FOR YOU:  A PRAYER; “THE BREASTPLATE”

CHRIST BE WITH ME, CHRIST WITHIN ME, CHRIST BEHIND ME, CHRIST BEFORE ME, CHRIST BESIDE ME, CHRIST TO WIN ME, CHRIST TO COMFORT, AND RESTORE ME.

CHRIST BENEATH ME, CHRIST ABOVE ME, CHRIST IN QUIET, CHRIST IN DANGER.   CHRIST IN HEARTS OF ALL THAT LOVE US.  CHRIST IN MOUTH OF FRIEND AND STRANGER.

A FATHERS LOVE

When entering in we, if we are wise test the waters first.   Yet, this is not always the case.   We plan and then with great haste go forward with no holds barred.
The littlest child, will run and jump and play without concerns for harm.    For the littlest child does no know the harm that waits.    He trusts!   Certain whatever He does will be fine.   Innocence!    The purest love, of trust!

If we are all ‘little children,’  Gods children, are we not to trust!  Innocence, trust, and believeing, they all are a part of Gods master plan.  The Heavenly Fathers has so many factors entering to ‘trusting Him’ that without prayer, we can not grow in wisdom and understand the depth of His knowledge, His love, and His design for our lives.

Mistakes, and misunderstandings are part of who we are; yet, the ‘Fathers Love’ is ever present, and constant.   Yet realizing, experiencing, and living the fullness of this love can only be complete through trust, submission and prayer.

God, Our Father is perfect!   Yet, He is given a ‘bad rap’!  He is ‘blamed’ by the unfaithful for the indescretions of the world!   A God who’s love is pure, and true!  A God who’s design for His children is to ‘love one another’ is blamed, and blasphemed for the sins of the world!    A God who’s love is so great, He gave a ‘part of Himself’ to prove His perfect love!   A God who made all in His image, so all may remember, we are His and He is ours!   Yet, still after all this, it is a love that is denied and rejected! Ever been rejected?  Hurts does’nt it?   Cuts to the core. Pierces the heart, and the sadness fills the soul!   The spirit ‘feels’ being crushed!  You thought you did it first?

Gods love, Gods sadness, and Gods anguish are as real as yours and mine.  He made us and He wants to be a part of who we are! He wants to be invited in!  He wants to be wanted, and He wants to be adored!

Who does not want to be adored?   Really?   Do you really believe it is only you, or only I that thirsts for this?  God, started this process!   He adorns us with pieces of Himself daily!  In small and large ways are Heavenly Father presents Himself, so that we may stop, and give thanks and smile!

The Love of a Father is priceless!  Deep, very very deep!   Oh, so fulfilling!  A hug from God makes it all worthwhile!
A hug, is love in expression!   It is joy in experession!  It is Gods love in expression!   For God is love!  So what love you feel is felt in the heart!  It is not ‘cravings of the flesh’!!  It would seem that people have it confused today.   There is indeed a difference!   The cravings of the flesh and the experiences of the soul, are different.
An act of ‘flesh’ is an immediate act of ‘passion’,  once experienced is over!  Love is felt in the heart and the spirit rejoices and the soul soars! It ever-lasting!

Gods love, the foundation to the worlds Fathers, is what makes us, and leads us and teaches us!   It is no accident, that Fathers are assigned the name ‘Father’ without cause or thought.  It denotes the purpose!  He who is appointed ‘Father’ is chosen by God to instruct!  A claim and blessing put forth by our heavenly Father by administering His guidance through those He chooses to make Fathers.   A Father instructs His children.  As God instructs us!  As a Priest, is a Father who instructs His flock,  as is the Father of a home with children.   The Father is the Head of the Home!  The conotation of the ‘Father’ is indeed the greatest blessing one can be given!   For Our Heavenly Father has chosen and annointed the Father with the desires of His heart!  As He is Father of us all, we have worldly Fathers to guide us and instruct us!   Their love is not to be taken lightly!   For they are given and expression of Gods love through a ‘hug’!!   Chosen, set apart, and trusted, to lead, instruct, love, and admonish!!

God decides!  His decisions are absolute!  He does not make mistakes we do!  We do this when we turn away from a Fathers love.

As a little girl loves her Father, and a son loves his Mother, first love is felt, and learned by these first experiences of  love.  For a girl fall in love with her ‘Daddy’ and a son with his ‘Mommy’ teaching us love.

When a little girls first love is passing away, and the love of her life is no longer, it is felt in the heart.   A Fathers love realized and learned.   When that first love goes home, and there are no more ‘hugs’ the heart breaks!   For the love of a Father to his daughter, is liken to Sons love to his Mother.

Isn’t it interesting that God gave usHimself as Father, and gave us  Mary as Our Mother and ‘His Son’ for our brother.    For God in His infinite wisdom was teaching us once again, His design and purpose for each of us.   Then putting forth the ‘Holy Family’ through the wisdom of a Father.  That we may know how to live, and love, and forgive.

Gods perfection, is once realized when the Son is embraced!   For the Son, Jesus, who’s birthday, we will soon celebrate redeemed us all so that we may return to the love of the Father, one day.   Realizing fully, the perfect love that waits!

Book of Mark Chapter 12 verses  29-30-31 Jesus speaks

29)Jesus replied: “This is the first: ‘Hear , O Israel!   The Lord our God is Lord alone!

30)“Therefore you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.”

31)”This is the second, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'”

Happy Birthday Jesus!   Thank You for leading the way, setting the example and loving  us all so completely!  AMEN!  MERRY CHRISTMAS!  God Bless You!

HURTS

Whether ‘big’ or ‘small’ hurts remain.   We can at any age, agree that ‘hurts’ are the same for each of us.    We all experience pain.   Regardless of our age or our circumstances, it is absolute.  Pain, sorrow, and anguish, are a part of our lives.  We are born, and pain is immediate.   It is for each and to different degrees, but nonethless, it hurts!   If one does not hurt, one has no heart!  For the heart that bleeds for another, is a ‘pure heart’ indeed!

A heart that is pure, has compassion!  Compassion is the ‘love of God’ in the heart of the soul that hurts!   We can not run from it, for the heart that loves, is the soul that lives!   For if the soul does not experience hurt, it can not grow in faith!

Faith is everything!  To know the love of a Father is to know love!   For His Love is Pure!   His love is what deems us to be who we are!   Yet, many stray from this perfect love!  Being held accountable is a part of living.   Whether we pay now with our atonements or later, we all will pay.   For sins are an absolute in this life, and we all are guilty!   Whether we wish to ‘fess up’  or not, the facts remain!   Sinners are we!!   Contrary and  wanting to believe we are better than our neighbor, we are not!   Gods pure love makes us equal!  !

There is no place in heaven for the arrogant and self-rightous, the scriptures confirm it.   For this is the hardened heart.   No hurt can be felt, and no love can be realized, no forgiveness can be found.

The state of the heart friend!

It all goes to the state of the heart!

Indeed, it is our hearts that HE wants!   So, if you really want to know the truth, look within your heart, and be honest with yourself.   For if hate and spite are there, and envy, and lust, and gluttony, covetous, and pride, anger, and sloth, there is indeed work to be done!   For there are none among us who do not have at least one of these seven deadly sins!    This is why HE came! The reason for the season is the birth of the Savior of the World!

The flesh and the spirit oppose one another.  So we are at times in conflict within ourselves.    So when we strive for holiness, and crave Christ, the sins of the flesh will at times tempt us.   That is why Jesus came!  He conquered sin!   To dispute this, is to dispute the life of Christ and is blasphemy!   The man was here, the man died here, and the man rose here.  He proved to the whole world His perfect love by rising from the dead and conquering sin, and death!

When a soul decides there is more to this life than the air we breathe, then the spirit is rising and ‘crying’ to be nourished.   That nourishment is prayer.
Without prayer the soul thirsts, and it only becomes refreshed when the spirit of God is recognized and praised!

Book of Sirach: Chapter 17  verses 17-18

17)”A mans goodness God cherishes like a signet ring,  a mans virtue, like the apple of His eye. 18)Later, He will rise up and repay them, and requite each one of them as they deserve.”

LOVING

When love takes form, and we are filled with joy, it is because Gods love has filled us!

It has been said, and proven that the human being is 98% water.   Yet, I say it is 100% spirit!   For the Love of God is the dwelling of life in each of us!   Yet, it is common place to give no thought or reason to the life that dwells within, the life that is living and breathing within each of us.

Unfortunatley, 75% of the world does not want to hear about it!   They prefer complacency.  Comfortable in their own ‘demise’!   For if it were not so, every soul everywhere would not doubt, but would indeed come to the fullness of life; that life being a relationship with the risen LORD!   The risen LORD is present and constant!   Yet, Jesus does not push himself on anyone.   He wants to be loved!   He wants to be adored!   He wants to be wanted!   If you or I doubt this, and do not believe it to be so, then we are deceiving ourselves!   We are indeed lying to ourselves, so that we may be free in our ‘own will’ and not ‘bothered’ by HIS WILL!!

Christ will come again!  He has done all for all and does not need to ‘prove’ HIS love!   We must each ask ourselves, ” Will I stand before the risen LORD on Judgment day and say, ‘I didn’t know LORD’?   Whereby He will say, ‘I know you not!  Out of my sight you evil-doer!!’ (though not a direct quote from Jesus, HE does tell us in scripture to be on guard).  Are you on guard?   Is the sanctity of your soul of concern to you?  If no thought has been given, then let this be an awakening!  For death comes like a ‘thief in the night’!

There are two types of light in the world.   There is the ‘Black Light’ and the ‘White Light’.   One is of Evil, (Devil) and the other is Good, (GOD)!   The trouble here is that the ‘black light’ shows only what is in front, but the ‘white light’ shows all encompassing.

To know the ‘White Light’ one must choose JESUS!!  JESUS is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD!   He is called the light because He is the light!   All other is deception!

We can not recognize deception with out the eyes of CHRIST!    Though it is over the top to understand, it is indeed absolute.   To know Christ, follow Christ and to love Christ is to know Peace!

It is no accident that on ‘HIS’ Birthday, we experience great JOY!   He, the light of the world,  is and always will be.

This Christmas, give a gift that lasts, give Jesus your heart!  Then HE will have the best birthday ever!   Because you chose HIM over everything else!

Book of Matthew: Chapter 24 verese 4-5

4)In reply Jesus said to them: “Be on guard! Let no one mislead you. 5)Many will come attempting to impersonate me. ‘I am the Messiah!’ they will claim, and they will decieve many.”

Book of Matthew: Chapter 31 verse 40-41

40)“The king will answer them: ‘I assure you as often as you did it for one of my least brothers, you did it for me.’ 41)”Then, he will say to those on his left: ‘Out of my sight , you condemned, into that everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels!”

The Eleventh Hour

When the veil of life is being lifted, and we can no longer reason for ourselves; when humility fills the room, and our aged bodies are so frail, and life has come full circle, we look upon our days with sorrow.  When  lifes work is done, and our good-byes  will be no more, tears fill our soul.

It is a grace from God Our Father that allows us the eleventh hour.  For He has deemed to bless us;  allowing us to have knowledge of the end of our days.  When we  are allowed to make peace with Our God, and to repent of our sins, to mend our quarrels with our foe, and to say ‘good-bye’ to those we love, God has once again found favor with us.

A grace that is priceless, preparation of our soul, For to die without the ‘love of God upon our lips, and the joy of peace in our soul, is to die alone  in agony.   For God is a God of mercy.   He delights in His children.  Yet, to be given such favor is only His to give.

Realizing life is of God is the beginning of wisdom.   All wisdom is from God.  Hold fast to wisdom and fullness of life will fill your days.  When life’s  veil is about lift, and God’s time stands still, we will with great joy reach our journey’s end; for God waits.

Book of Proverbs: Chapter 1 verse 7

7)”The fear of LORD is the beginning of knowledge;wisom and instruction fools despise.”

First Book of Psalms: Chapter 1  verses 1-6

1) “Happy the man who follows not the counsel of the wicked nor walks in the way of sinners, nor sits in the company of the insolent, 2) But delights in the law of the LORD and meditates on His law day and night. 3) He is like a tree planted near running water, that yields its fruit in due season, and whose leaves never fade. (Whatever He does prospers.) 4) Not so the wicked, not so; they are like chaff which the wind drives away. 5) Therefore in judgment the wicked shall not stand, nor shall sinners, in the assembly of the just. 6) For the LORD watches over the way over the way of the just, but the way of the wicked vanishes.”

STARTING OUT

Small and fragile; his Father awoke every two hours to feed him.   He was His son!  He waited his whole life for this moment!   Yet, now here, the moment had arrived, and he was so weak, the babe did not want to nurse. So the Father arose and fed the babe from a ‘finger tube’. Together, the parents kept vigil praying, and hoping to strengthen the babe that he may grow strong… and one day, run and jump and play like other children.

Finally he was a ‘big boy’ with a joyful disposition, laughing and loving, hugging and kissing.   At a year and a half of age, he was running and so very happy too.

His Father stood back, watching with delight at the joy his son had.   Yet, not to far away; his son ran to the curb and his Father stepped in front of him to stop him.   The little boy ‘looked up’ and the Father smiled.   He then turned and ran the other way, still delighted with his new found love of ‘running’.

Soon he came upon a puddle of water and splashed and smiled with delight at this most perfect discovery.   His Father, so pleased that His son was so strong and happy could not become angry, but could only rejoice that his son was strong, and capable.

So it is with our Heavenly Father; He takes delight in us!   He watches and loves us as we go about our days, making our discoveries along the way, and quietly steps in front of us when we are about to ‘fall off the curb’!    It is then that rather than be disgusted and dismayed, we should simply turn and smile, looking up and thanking Our Heavenly Father for His guidance.    For quietly and lovingly, Our Heavenly Father overshadows our misjudgments.   He, seeing what is ahead, stops us!   Yet, sometimes, we insist on pushing ahead;only to find ourselves in total unhappiness.   Looking up, we wonder why?    When the guidance was there and we chose not to follow the change of direction but persevere to and against all signs of difficulty ahead.    This then, is when God reaches  to ‘teach’ us.   For when mistakes come, wisdom presents itself.   We, must reflect and choose to redefine our thinking.   When we do, we grow in wisdom.     For then when we ask God for the guidance we find our way more easily.   An insurmountable grace surrounds us.   We feel at peace, knowing we are in our ‘element’.    For when things are ‘right’ with God, joy fills the spirit.

Of course we can go about our business without the intervention of the guidance of our Heavenly Father, but the joy that surpasses all understanding is not present.   Then the task accomplished feels empty.   Void of purpose.   For God says, ‘When doing something,  know for whom you are doing it.’ (not a direct quote)

When doing for God, He takes delight in knowing we know He is watching and caring for us.   So next time you see a small child filled with delight, remember Our Heavenly Father looks upon us in the same way.   Take delight knowing He loves you.  Even when the course of life changes!

Book of Sirach: Chapter 12 verses 1-2

1)” If you do good, know for whom you are doing it, and your kindness will have its effect. 2)Do good to the just man and reward will be yours, if not from him, from the LORD.”

HAVE YOU BEEN TO CALVARY?

Were you there when they crucified my LORD?

Did you feel the burning of His skin on that first ‘Good Friday; when  the sun beat down  upon His pierced skin ?   Did you see His skin folded over, and hanging loosly off His bones?   Did you see His matted Hair,  burnt against his scalp from His journey up Calvary hill?   Did you see the flowing of the blood from His hands and feet, from the nine inch nails that pierced Him unto that wooden cross?   Did you notice the dryed blood that was caked to His body from the beatings of the Roman soilders earlier that day?   Did you notice the shoulder that was pierced to the bone that  carried that cross?   Did you notice the anguish upon the face that was once so pure and lovely, weathered and bruised from beatings and sorrow?   Did you notice the ‘stripes’ of whippings that were inflamed from exposure to the sun?   Did you feel the perspiration adhered to His skin, from lack of water, and neglect of sanitary conditons?   Did you notice the few that stood by Him when He uttered His last breath?   Did you notice the broken heart that suffered so intently for the whole world?  Did you feel the piercing of the crown of thorns upon His head?  Did you feel the humiliation of the spits, and ridecule imposed upon His spirit?  Did you see His body stripped  of all dignity, hanging upon that cross?   Did you cry when He cryed?  Did a part of you die when He died?  Did you notice?  Did you care?   Did you suffer?   Did you mourn?

Did you Know, even after all that:  He said,”Father, forgive them for they know not what they do!”

EXCUSES

Ah, Yes, the great debater!   You know the sort!   He who deems it nescessary to question absolutley everything.   So proven as it may be, the great debate will still be initiated!

There was once a converstation that took place between a scientist, and God….’the scientist said to God, “I am so smart, I can even make a man.”    God then said, “Okay, you go first.”   Whereby the scientist then picked up the dirt… and God said,” Oh No!   That belongs to Me!”

In the course of this life, we will continually come up against the unexplicable.   This is where faith comes in!   If faith is not nurtured and strived for, it can not be attained!   For nothing of value,  lasts, that is not nurtured and strived for.

Want it?!’   God is so awsome, that if you want it, He will lead you to it!!  Absolutely!  So certain am I of this, that I can prove it to you!

God sent us Jesus Christ, to live in the world.   His only ‘begotten’ Son!   The living Christ is so ‘real’ that when called upon He is there!   His magnificent Love, and profound grace established in the presence of anyone who calls upon Him to be saved!  Powerful and True!

Yet, the world is the ‘great debate’!    The world rejoices in debating with anyone on anything, no matter what the act or the question!   It has been since the dawn of time and is up to each individual whether they wish to be ‘of the world’   or whether they wish to be ‘of Christ!’    He is and always will be!   He is the second person of the Most Holy Trinity!   The Holy Trinity is God in  three Persons, (The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, (Holy Spirit)!

Through the love of a Father that is so awsome, He sent a very part of Himself, that we may ‘know’ He is God!   He is real!  He is among us!    When calling upon Jesus Christ, to come into your heart; He will arrive so brilliantly, that you will wish you had made the choice sooner!    This perfect love will complete you!

There are seven deadly sins!    These seven deadly sins are the core to Satans Power!  Satan opposes everything lovely and beautiful, because this is of God.   The Sins are: LUST, ANGER, ENVY,GLUTTONY, SLOTH, PRIDE, COVETOUS!    When staying far from these, and embracing the ‘TEN COMMANDMENTS’ you will experience a ‘transfiguration’ which will cleanse you and perfect you in such a way  The Peace that surpasses all understanding will be yours!! (the Ten Commandments are listed in another writing.)

FROM THE FIRST EPISTLE OF JOHN: CHAPTER 4 VERSES 7-10

7) “Beloved, let us love one another because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten of God and has knowledge of God. 8)The man without love has known nothing of God, for God is love. 9)God’s love was revealed in our midst in this way: He sent His only Son to the world that we might have life through Him.10)Love, then, consists in this: not that we have loved God but that He has loved us and has sent His Son as an offering for our sins.”

FRIENDS?

That which warms the heart, delights the mind and brings contentment to the soul,  comforts the spirit,  a true friend!

True Friends are difficult to come by.   They can be a friend in name only, and prove their worth when trials come.    For a true friend rejoices when you rejoice and weeps when you weep!   Compassion such as this is difficult to come by.   It is a gift from  God.    Blessings of a faithful friend, are liken to knowing love.     For to know what love is, is to know God.   For God is Love.   If one does not know God, can one know Love?   No! For purity of true love is given by God Our Father, a blessing of grace, and favor bestowed upon His faithful.

Leaving one betrayed, abandoned and alone, a false friend will crush the spirit!    Jesus, the truest of friends was left betrayed, abandoned and alone, when His trials came.    Yet, Jesus forgave His friends, and He forgives us.   Yet, we, the offenders, must ask for forgiveness.   This a requirement to enter into the kingdom of heaven.   For He, the truest friend, ‘needs’ to know we are sincerely sorry for our offenses!    For otherwise our Savior would have died in vain!  God forbid!   Forgiveness, which is of God, will through the Holy Spirit guide and instruct us.

Jesus is  ‘pure love’ perfecting us through His blood, which will lead us to the  Glory of God the Father.

Book of Sirach Chapter 6 verses 6-17

6)”Let your acquaintances be many, but one in a thousand your confidant.   7)When you gain a friend, first test him, and be not too ready to trust him.   8) For one sort of a friend, is a friend when it suits him, but he will not be with you in time of distress.   9) Another is a friend who becomes an enemy, and tells of the quarrel to your shame.   10) Another is a friend, a boon companion, who will not be with you when sorrow comes.   11)When things go well, he is your other self, and lords it over your servants; 12) But if you are brought low, he turns against you and avoids meeting you.   13) Keep away from your enemies; be on your guard with your friends. 14) A faithful friend is a sturdy shelter; he who finds one finds a treasure. 15) A faithful friend is beyond price, no sum can balance his worth.   16) A faithful friend is a life-saving remedy, such as he who fears God finds; 17) For he who fears God behaves accordingly, and his friend will be like himself.”
