WHEN HUMILITY IS HIGH

When it feels as though the soul has been turned inside-out, and the very essence of who you are is revealed to all mankind, then humility is high.

When the exposure is bare, tears reside there.     For humiliation is stripping down and stripping away, protection feels lost.

To be in control is a desire we all have, but the love of God is foremost in the mind of the believer; and He is first!    He, His desires, and His majesty, His  reign!   God knows His own, and has put forth a master plan in the lives  of those who are His own.

When obedience is  first, grace and harmony abound.  (This is not an experience felt or understood by the unbeliever!)     He saves them from the torrents of the world.   Though they are in the world, He lifts them up to protect them from the circumstances at hand.

So when a believer steps out on behalf of Him,the God of us all instills a confidence, strength and boldness that overcomes the trial at hand!

Embracing that love first in ones life is experiencing the presence of God within any and all circumstances!  (As when the disciple Paul was put in chains!)     As He sent others to help Paul so He sends others to help us!   This is no accident!

This incredible experience is within the ‘Blessed Sacrament’ of the ‘Most Holy Mass’!   The living Christ present for all, but few who desire he, whom resides there!

The ‘Most Holy Catholic Church’ is Christ’s Bride!   He found Her!   He loves her!   He blesses Her!    If you want a living, moving experience of supernatural growth within your life that supercedes anything you ever hoped for, the Roman Catholic Church has and is what you are looking for!

Of the countless prayers, and the boundless sacraments, The Roman Catholic  Church is a tempest within a storm.    Her power is ordained by God; His Son died for Her!   The very gift of Himself, manifest within the world.   Reachable, attainable power, that can not be explained but is real, and immeasurable.

Many will claim to give what she is, but can not!    For there is only one,  Roman Catholic Church, one doctrine, and One Holy Mass.    Because there is only one Jesus Christ!

Book of Psalms:   Psalm 127 verse 1-2

1)” Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.   Unless the LORD guards the city, the guard keeps watch in vain.

2) It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved.”

THE DIFFERENCE

What if I were to tell you that the Lord is standing outside your door;  would you care?    Would you search for him there?

What if I were to tell you that outside of heaven’s gate, there are weeds, and to enter through the gate to heaven you have to clear the path; would you care?

What we choose to care about is the core to our lives!   We may not think anything of going through the motions of living, but living is more than the every day routine.   It is purpose waiting to unfold!

When you discover life is not all about you, but about the difference, then you really begin to live!

What’s the difference?    The difference is spirituality!   The praising,  the laughing, crying, and singing, and sighing!   It is experiecing life with conviction and purpose.

Each one of us is a thought, purpose and desire of Our Heavenly Father.   He as any Father allows us to draw from His instruction accordingly.    If we do not desire His instruction, we lose direction.   For when God is center to our being, He gives, again, and again, for we are His children.    This perfect love, through the Son’s love is instrumental in our being.

Heaven has always been!   We are the guest invited to a most perfect dinner, and are allowed the choice of accepting or rejecting the invitation of love eternal!   Because it is real, and because it is a gift, we choose for ourselves!   No one makes us love another!   No one makes us give of ourselves for the ‘Love of God’ !   We do it willingly, and with great love for each other, for this is the love of  a Father within the love of a child!   This is how Jesus Christ was able to suffer so incredibly for all mankind-the love of a Father within His Son!!

A love of a God so perfect that He gives us Himself through the ‘Most Holy Trinity’!   The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, making up one perfect love, for the world to know a joy that surpasses all understanding.

Without this perfect love, people turn to the ill-will of the world!   Its contraband and chaos, defiling a life meant to be embraced and loved.    The evil then brings about hate, murder, fornication, suicide, lust, pornography, and array of numerous other sins.    For evil, opposes God!

The relationship of a child to a Father, is constant, yet, it needs to be fed!   The Father waits for the ‘child’ to draw close to Himself for the instruction He desires.   This is accomplished over time, and devotion.   Thrilled beyond all human understanding, the Father takes great delight in the child wanting and desireing the wisdom He has to give.    Then the blessings unfold.   The blessings, joy, peace, love, harmony, prosperity, and numerous other gifts.   For the Father is perfect, and His love is real.   To love one must reach out to another, and so it is with the love of a Father to a child.   Reach out to Your Heavenly Father, and find the completeness of life, that only He can give!

Book of John: Chapter 17 verses 9-11 Jesus Speaks

9)“For these I pray-not for the world but for these you have given me, for they are really yours.   10)(Just as all that belongs to me is yours, so all that belongs to you is mine.)   It is in them that I have been glorified.   11) I am in the world no more, but these are in the world as I come to you.   O Father most Holy, protect them with your name which you have given me (that they may be one, even as we are one.)

THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT

Just as a light fills a room, so too does the Most Holy Spirit fill the hearts of the most obedient of God.

It may seem that life is  just a happening of experiences.   Life is a life long prayer.   It is a constant experience of the highest power.    Yet, free will dulls the senses, and disuades the un-believer.    For love of God is constant, yet as with anything constant it can be taken for granted!

Experiences and relationships are constant, just as every day life unfolds.   Yet to experience life to its fullest, is to love life through the love of God.    Yet, the world we live in is opposed to God, His teachings and His gifts!

Most recently, I have started saying, ‘God Bless You’ after meeting someone.    Why?   Because when praying, I asked the LORD, what can I do to make a difference?   I felt the Most Holy Spirit say, tell them ‘God Bless You’!    So, I do try to say that after meeting someone; for everyone is a blessing.    We have only to embrace that, and then  we are fulfilling the first two commandments and in so doing,  pleasing God!

In pleasing God we enter into a higher plane of living!   An elevated degree of peace that is only His to give.    This can not be realized, but must be experienced, and the experience is real!    God is real.   Life is real, and Love is real!    Yet, love can not be real without God, and life can not be real without God.

Contrary to all human understanding, life is lifting up!    It is a constant life long prayer.   It, without prayer, is life without a paddle.   It simply floats by and the journey is empty and devoid of purpose.    The paddles, (God’s arms) are in control, life has meaning, depth, and fullness of purpose.

Recently I watched a movie called ‘Courageous’.   The story is about life and the role of a father within the life of a child.   A very deep movie that leaves a person reflecting on the significance he has on a life of a child.    Taking it one step further, the life we live impacts everyone every day.   Whether it is good or bad is up to us.    That is not to say we will not exasperate another along the way, or they us; but rather that the difference is in realizing the love of the other,  when you know it is not done out of contempt or mailice, but humanly.    For there is no getting away from being human.    For that is what we are.

Yet when God is embraced and loved, His Most Holy Spirit guides us through the episode at hand.   For we all go through things.    This is the life we live, and the depth it offors is up to us.    If we wish to experience Christ, His teachings, His life, and His design for our lives, then we have chosen to live life in the highest degree!    He is the difference!   When He  is the difference, then we make a difference!

When God who gives life is given the glory; His prayer is Our Prayer, and that is: ‘God is life, and life is God’.

Book of Hebrew:    Chapter 13 verses 20-21

20)”  Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, 21) make you complete in everything good so that you may do his will, working among us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever.    Amen

OPEN WOUNDS

As we journey through this life, and become battered by life’s storms,  we find ourselves with open wounds.

We meet people along the way and sometimes we love them and they do not know how to love us.    This is an open wound.   It remains, whether we are aware or of it not.    When this occurs, our responses vary according to whom and how it occurred.

Through life’s  journey, we must each decide how to endure the open wounds.   For some of us, we  reach out to others.   Some, turn to vices for a ‘quick fix’:  the contraband of the world, sex, drugs, pornography, affairs, booze, money, pillaging, rape, murder, even suicide.

Whatever the occurrence, and whom ever is responsible, the open wound remains.    Dealing with it starts with recognizing it for what it is.

First we must have the courage to realize we made the transgression ourselves.    Forgiving oneself is just as important as forgiving others.    For we must love ourselves as well as our brothers and sisters in Christ!

Christ loves us all!   We have first to embrace that, and then go to work on loving ourselves!   For as I said before, Satan is at work to separate each of us from the love of Christ.    We each have our ‘hot-spots’-that which contributes to our idiosyncrasies!

If we are afraid of being alone, we are then faced with the torment that comes from being alone.    Sounds simple enough; yet when failure to address what we are feeling is ignored, it festers.    You’ve heard the saying, making a mountain out of a molehill; well, it can become destructive, ‘self-destructive’.

When we are prayerful people, and believe in the ‘Almighty’ then we are already one up on Satan.    Why?   Because God knows His Own!!   His own turn to Him, and He leads them to the way, the truth and the life~ Namely, Jesus !    He puts forth the direction and actions to seek.   I assure you suicide is never the answer, none of the above contraband is an answer.

With in the Word of God, Jesus addresses many many situations, and ultimately concludes the answer.    He never leaves one hanging!  However, the general consensus today, is that He does!    Not True!   God helps us endure our mistakes, no matter how grave.    The open wound will heal, but the scar will remain.    The scar reminding us that we are human and He loves us all the more because of it.

Many make the mistake of closing themselves out, with the’ hardened heart’!   They believe that ‘protecting’ their heart from ‘revealing’ to much emotion, they are being wise.   However, true living comes from true loving, and true loving brings forth fullness of life.

You may hurt along the way.   You may make mistakes along the way, and you may incur ‘open wounds’ along the way, but that is where the truth is.   That is where the life is, and that is where the love is!   life without love is dead.   That is not to say, go out and have sex, and have it frequently.   Rather, it is to say, open your heart, and reveal the true you.

Many suppress who they really are, and never find living at its fullest.   It does hurt to be betrayed, abandoned, and alone, yet, Jesus did it!  He incurred it first, from us!   If we are to suffer with Christ to achieve the fullness of life , then we must have an ‘open heart’!

Book of John:   Chapter 15 verse 11-12   Jesus Speaks

11)”All this I tell you that my joy may be yours and your joy may complete.   12) This is my commandment: love one another as I have loved you.”

Book of John Chapter 17 Verses 14-19  Jesus Speaks:

14)”I gave them your word, and the world has hated them for it;   they do not belong to the world (any more than I belong to the world).   15) I do not ask you to take them out of the world, but to guard them from the evil one.   16) They are not to of the world, any more than I belong to the world. 17) Consecrate them by means of truth-‘your word is truth’.   18) As you have sent me into the world; so I have sent them into the world; 19) I consecrate myself for their sakes now, that they may be consecrated in truth.”

Book of John continued:  17:26

26) “To them I have revealed your name, and I will continue to reveal it so that your love for me may live in them, and I may live in them.”

“A Disciple’s Love”:  Book of John Chapter 15 verses 9-10

9) “As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you.  Live on in my love.   10) You will live in my love if you keep my commandments, even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and live in his love.”

Step By Step

When starting out with anything, the first step is the most difficult!   As it is with a baby, it starts with the milk, then when  trying to crawl, or desiring to walk, hesitation is present.    So it is with us.

When Jesus talks of starting out, in the Christian life, he speaks of children and milk;  meaning  He teaches us  slowly.   This is because we are not ready.   We can not consume what we are not prepared for.

To come to the fullness of Christianity, is to start with the milk, and take it frequently.   The milk being the words of Christ.    The teachings of Christ.   The way, is then revealed slowly, and by trial and error.   For just as a child falls when learning to crawl and walk, so will a baby christian fall, and stumble.   Yet, Christ the teacher, is there, holding out His hand and instructing.

To give up is not an option.   For to give up is to give up on life.   Christ is ‘eternal life.’    Without Him there is no life.    It is empty.

When Christ and His teaching are ‘grabbed unto’; like a child holding unto the hand of a Father, so it is with us and our learning from Jesus.   Holding on, and trusting is everything.   Just as it is difficult when we first try anything anew, so it is in learning the faith.   Desire is absolute.   Without desire it will never come to fruition.   Desire is everything.

In His teachings, the LORD always uses examples.  Parables are His way.   When reading His words and His teachings the heart must be open to the spirit.   The Holy Spirit, is God’s gift to us through His Son Jesus Christ.   The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, making up the true essence of God the Father.

The Teacher, Jesus Christ, is the patient one.   He never tires of us trying to learn from Him, but welcomes it.   Is delighted by it.   For He is pure love, and it is our friendship that He desires.

There are no words that can be written here to enlighten the mind.

The words are in the Holy Bible.   Jesus words!   His not mine.    Discover it for yourself, and open the Holy Bible and find the living waters that Christ speaks of.   It will guide you into a deeper understanding of life, its purpose, and its mystery.

Book of First Peter Chapter 2 verses 1-5    Growth of Holiness

1) ” So strip away everything vicious, everything deceitful; pretenses, jealousies, and disparaging remarks of any kind.   2) Be as eager for milk as newborn babies-pure milk of the spirit to make you grow  unto salvation, 3) now that you have tasted that  the Lord is good.   4) Come to him, a living stone, rejected by men but approved, nonetheless, and precious in God’s eyes.”

Book of Revelation: Chapter 7Verse 13-17

13) “Then one of the elders asked me, “Who are these people all dressed in white?   And where have they come from?”   14) I said to him, “Sir, you should know better than I.”   He then told me, “These are the ones who have survived the great period of trial; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.   15) ” It was this that brought them before God’s throne:   day and night they minister to him in his temple; he who sits on the throne will give them shelter.   16)   Never again shall they know hunger or thirst, nor shall the sun or its heat beat down on them. 17) for the Lamb on the throne will shepherd them.   He will lead them to springs of life-giving water, and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

Jesus Speaks: Chapter 28 verses 18-20 Book of Matthew

18) “Jesus came forward and addressed them in these words:

Full authority ahs been given to me both in heaven and on earth; 19) go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations.   Baptize in the ‘of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.’   20) Teach them to carry out everything I have commanded you.   And know that I am with you always, until the end of the world!”

WHO AM I?

“Who am I? ”

” I am a little stone the Lord found along the way.    He picked me up, as if to say,” ‘This one I desire to make my own!   I will polish it, and refine it, so that it may shine beyond it’s own.   It will be unique in every way, and no other will fill its worth, for that is my way!   This little stone will never be separated from me, for I am its keeper, and no other will know its worth.    For from me it will become a light unto the earth!  In me it will shine, in me it will find worth beyond all time.   Some will never see, the countless gifts that come from me; as this little stone’s light, that has become my delight.   Why, you say?   Because it is from me that life gets its birth.   No one separated from me, can come to worth.    For God my Father has made it so, that only, all who come to me,  He will know.'”

Book of John Chapter 6 verse 40   Jesus Speaks:

40) “Indeed, this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks upon the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life.   Him I will raise up on the last day.”

Book of John:  Chapter  4 Verse 10

10) Jesus replied, “  If only you recognized God’s gift, and who it is that is asking you for a drink, you would have asked him instead, and he would have given you living water.”

Book of John: Chapter 3 verse 21 Jesus Speaks

21)“But he who acts in truth comes into the light, to make clear that his deeds are done of God.”

Book of John chapter 6 verse 57  Jesus speaks:

57) “Just as the Father who has life sent me and I have life because of the Father, so the man who feeds on me will have life because of me.”

Book of First Peter Chapter 1 verses 3-5

3) “Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, he who in his great mercy gave us new birth; a birth unto hope which draws its life from the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead; 4) a birth to an imperishable inheritance, incapable of fading or defilement, which is kept in heaven for you 5) who are guarded with God’s power through faith; a birth to a salvation which stands ready to be revealed in the last days.”

COMING TO CHRIST

Simply put, Christ is everywhere.

Yet, how much thought is given to Him?    Why?    Because when you come to Christ, when you know Christ,  and when you love Christ, you are listening , and He is instructing!

However, it is not like that with everyone.   The relationship with our Lord is unique!   Because we all are unique!   Our Lord personalizes Himself, and we emerge new creatures, in Christ;  because this is His way.    Revealing Himself to each of us, according to what we need from Him, and His desires for us.

For as with any relationship that grows, so too is the relationship with Jesus.

If you are saying, ‘what is she talking about’?   Then you need a closer relationship with Jesus.    For Jesus wants to be your ‘best friend’…He will be your best friend; yet you must desire it!

Coming to Christ is more than just accepting Him for who He is,  it is expereincing Him.  Experiencing His sorrow, and His joy, and His peace!   Jesus Christ, is and always will be;  Yet, how many have Him as a ‘best friend’?

When a facing a difficult time in your life, call on Jesus.   Talk to Jesus.   Slow down and listen.   Stop, the hurried pace and pray.   Try building your friendship with Jesus  in the good times and the bad.   He wants to be there at all times!

If you start with this desire, and bind it to your heart because you desire to ‘know’ Him intimatley, He will reveal Himself to you.

The occurance of any friendship is done over time.    Jesus Christ being God incarnate, will reveal Himself to you according to the state of your heart!    For Jesus knows the heart of us all.    He knows if you are ‘testing’ Him.   Really!   He knows, and will allow you to come in your time.    If your heart is wise, and you already realize He is real and you want to know Him better, then if you do the work , He will bless you!!

Book of John Chapter 15 Verses 13-17  Jesus Speaks:

13)“There is no greater love than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.   14) You are my friends if you do what I command you.   15) I no longer speak of you as slaves, for a slave does not  know what his master is about.   Instead, I call you friends, since I have made known to you all I heard from my Father.   16) It was not you who chose me, it was I who chose you to go forth and bear fruit.   Your fruit must endure, so that all you ask the Father in my name he will give you.   17)  The command I give you is this, that you love one another.”

LIGHT

When an eclipse occurs and darkness covers the earth, it is a very ominous feeling.   We realize that we are not in control.

Darkness, happens frequently, and so little thought is given when darkness covers the earth.    Yet, it is natural to presume all will return to normal.    The sun will shine, and ‘light’ will cover the earth  once again.     But, what if that were not the case.   What if the ‘black out’ was so critical,  it could not be fixed!

First, it seems a natural occurrence.    Yet, it is good to remember God gives light.   God gives life, and God gives salvation.    God also takes!    It is good to think of the blessings first.    However, it is important to remember God!    To think of God!   To praise God!   To love  God!

Little reflection of God’s gift of life is given to day.     God is taken for granted, when praise is not extended !!    He is hurt!   God is pure love!    When love is pure, it is undefiled!

Knowing that we are made in the image and likeness of God, is all we need to know.    For knowing that constitutes being!    For we are nought, without Him.   We love because of Him.   In other words because He loved us first!    Who amongst us wants a one way love?   Really, love is more beautiful when it is reciprocated!    Do you not agree?

Book of Mark: Chapter 12  verses 29-31  The Great Commandment.

29) Jesus replied: “This is the first: ‘Hear O Israel !   The Lord our God is Lord alone !

30) “Therefore you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.   31)  This is the second, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself. ‘  There is no other commandment greater than these.”

CONFESSION

Obedience is difficult at any age.     Whether you are in the ‘terrible three’s’ or as old as me.   Obedience is so important, but not the easiest to embrace.

When I was small my Mother would say,  ‘Paula,  you should not say such things’!    Well, as old as I am, I still say such things!    It is who I am.  It is the truth!   I guess my friends, my husband and children, all know I speak the ‘truth’!    Even when it Hurts!!   It has always been who I am from a very young age.    I would say, I would rather have people say, ask Paula she’ll tell you the truth!   She doesn’t lie!!    Well, I have spent my life professing ‘truth’!   Some, don’t care for me, that’s fine;  but,  It is the only thing that matters!

Ananias, in the writing, ‘Exulted’, doubts what the Lord asked!   He questioned the LORD!   Well, sometimes we all have to be an Ananias.   Not intentionally perhaps, but humanly.    For there is no getting around being human.    It is!!   So with that in mind, I say we have all questioned the MASTER.    It hurts to say so, but it is reality.   I know I have.

When it was imposed upon my heart to do this, I was certain He meant someone else!   So certain was I, that I did not obey!    I kept praying!   It kept returning to me, that I was to do it.    To the point where it appeared in my dreams.    So, I finally went to the ‘Blessed Virgin Mary’.    I had friends praying for me.    I ‘knew’ the LORD had the wrong girl!    Wrong!    He had His designs on me, and never gave up on me.   I tell you this: The LORD never gives up on us.   If anything it is we who give up on the LORD.    We walk away, we quit praying, some even quit believing!   He is always there!   Always!

Finally, after I spoke to Our Blessed Mother, she enlightened me.   She guided me!    So here I am.    I share this with you because Our LORD desires it!

It is He who sees who I am and finds a quality, or gift that I am not aware of, and would never presume to have.   For you see, the ‘evil one’ is constantly battling the presence of Christ within us.    That is SATANS job!    Ugly as it is,  it is the truth!    Evil lurks and lurks everywhere; there are no exceptions.

Recognizing  evil is only done through the eyes of Jesus Christ!   His spirit is the only thing that matters.    WE NEED HIM!    He is all we need.   If we have him then we have everything.

When Jesus was here, He spoke in parables.   He opens the hearts and minds of those who come to Him, when they want him.

So, if you believe something I wrote is not to your liking, or is wrong, it is for you to pray about.    For I tell you certainly, I have only ONE to answer to, and that is JESUS CHRIST!

Everything written in this blog is under the directions of the HOLY SPIRIT!   If it does not meet your expectations, then the LORD will enlighten your understanding when you pray about it.    For it is HE who has guided me.   It is He who I answer to.

Book of Revelations Chapter 22 verses 16-21 Jesus is Speaking:

16)   “It is I, Jesus, who have sent my angel to give you this testimony about the churches.   I am the Root and Offspring of David, The Morning Star shining bright.”   17)The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come!”   Let him who hears, answer, “Come!”  Let him who is thirsty come forward; let all who desire it accept the gift of life-giving water.   18) I myself give witness to all who hear the prophetic words of this book.   If anyone adds to these words,  God will visit him with all the plagues described herein.!   19)   If anyone takes from the words of this prophetic book God will take away his share in the tree of life and the holy city described here.!   20)   The ONE who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon!”  Amen!   Come, Lord Jesus !   21) The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all.   Amen!”

FINDING FAULT

It doesn’t matter you know?    It is easy to say it doesn’t matter, but indeed it does.

The course of life is directed by our thoughts.    It does matter what we think.   For if we don’t concern ourselves with the purity of our thoughts, then how can our lives have purity of heart?

We each matter to God.   Each soul is a piece of gold unrefined!   Who can see himself  for who He is?

We can not!   We can not see the impact we have on each life by touching it.    We can not understand the magnificence of who we each are until we come to believe!

Our LORD gives us insight into the spirit of who we are!     The beauty of who HE desires us to be!   No not all the answers, but a ‘light’ of understanding!   Much like any light fills a room, so does understanding fill the heart!

Understanding is indeed a ‘light’ unto its self!      This  happens when we open ourselves up to the LORD!    For it is HIS to give!   It can not be taken!   He is a the ‘all encompassing God’!

We are only a thought!   We are HIS thought!

That is why we are here!   Because in HIS infinite grace HE thought of us!   HE desired to breathe life into each of us, and give us ‘free will’ or free reign if you will, to see if we will run wild, or submit to instruction!

The world is full of instruction!   People all over are glorifying themselves, instructing and directing others!   Taking great delight in their ‘knowledge’ and ‘power’!   Embellishing themselves to the point of arrogance!

Arrogance is very difficult to take.   When in the company of one who ‘exults’ himself, it is like being given ‘sour milk’; you desire to remove the taste.    So you desire to remove yourself from the presence of the person.

When one stands before many and acclaims himself to ‘greatness’ and lists his ‘qualities’ rather than simply stating, the gifts he has been given with humility; people walk away feeling uncomfortable.

I knew a man once who achieved ‘great wealth’ and was not remiss in mentioning it to others.    They even had a ‘race horse’.    He  eventually He lost it all.

For glory goes to God!   He is the only one worthy of glory!   No one here has done anything without HIS grace allowing it.   He allows, and when HE allows it happens!   Yet, He also waits to see if He will be given the ‘thanks, the praise, and the glory!

Book of Isaiah  chapter 13 verses   11-13  Arrogance:

11)”Thus I will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their guilt.   I will put an end to the pride of the arrogant, the insolence of tyrants I will humble.   12) I will make mortals more rare than pure gold, men, than gold of Ophir.   13)  For this I will make the heavens tremble and the earth shall be shaken from its place, At the wrath of the LORD of hosts on the day of his burning anger.”

Book of Luke Chapter 18 verse 14  (The Pharisee and the Tax Collector) Jesus Speaks:

14) “Believe me, this man went home from the temple justified but the other did not.   For everyone who exalts himself shall be humbled while he who humbles himself shall be exalted.”

The God that gave His Son as a ransom for us all, did so with an exclamation point!!

To make life essential is to have faith!    Life without faith, is like as the wild gelding, it knows not where it will stand, but will run on, but to what end?

We are Gods children!   Each one of us matters!

Denial, is the cowards way out!     Satan’s way is the whispering of those words in your ear, ‘it doesn’t matter’!    It does!  It is life.    The difference between living and dying!

When the light of Christ is ‘turned on’ then it illuminates the soul!    It is an experience!

Believing, is not an idea, it is a way of life!

Book of  Sirach: Chapter 2  verses 1-6

1)” My son, when you come to serve the Lord, prepare yourself for trials.    2) Be sincere  of heart and steadfast, undisturbed in time of adversity.   3)Cling to him, forsake him not; thus will your future be great.   4)  Accept whatever befalls you, in crushing misfortune be patient;   5)For in fire gold is tested, and worthy men in crucible of humiliation.   6)Trust God and he will help you; make straight your ways and hope in him.”
