UNDONE

When death comes to someone we love, we feel like the wind was knocked out of us. We will never breathe again. The reality of life stopping permanently is difficult to grasp.

Loss is difficult. Healing is even harder. Why? Is the question. The answer does not come easily. If it comes at all.

Knowing someone, loving someone…a gift. Recognizing the gift is the beginning of healing. We all know we are only here for now. When the hour is up and we close our eyes, our eternity is then revealed.

Reflecting on joy, and what that life shared with us is major. Some have no one. Some feel lost and know not what way to turn.

Memories are a gift. If we have memories, we have a story to share. Healing to contribute. This is the beginning of wisdom. Wisdom is a gift of the Holy Spirit. The love of God the Father revealed to the soul that wishes to believe. He sends us out into the world to help. The simplest actions can make a difference in a life. A smile. A treat. A ‘I love you’! The joy of living is loving! Loving is a gift from Our Heavenly Father! Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God lived life out to the fullest!

He said, Love thy neighbor as thyself! When He lived that, He proved it.

I Ask You? Does it not make you feel wonderful to do something for another and see their face light up?

Calling to mind scripture in regard to life, we can find in First Corinthians 15 verses 50-58

the truth about death, The Resurrection: 50) “This I declare, brothers: Flesh and Blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption” inherit corruption.” 51)Behold, I tell you a mystery. We shall not all fall asleep, but we will all be changed, 52) in an instant, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53) For that which is corruptible must clothe itself with incorruptibility. 54) And when this which is corruptible clothes itself with immorality, then the word that is written shall come about.

55)”Death is swallowed up in victory Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”

56) The sting of death is sin, “and the power of sin is the law. 57)But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58) Therefore, my beloved brothers, be firm, steadfast, always fully devoted to the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”
