THE HAIL MARY PASS!

GETTING THE WO RD OR THE BALL OUT…IT WILL HAPPEN READY OR NOT!

In 1975. a professional football player for the Dallas Cowboys, Roger Staubach threw a pass which was so unbelievable, into the end zone and thereby winning the game for the Dallas Cowboys! This pass, because it was so unexpected, and achieved the quarterback was asked how He did it. He said, “It was a Hail Mary Pass’!

The reason I bring this up is because the Hail Mary is a perfect example of YES! Who is she?! She is the Mother of The Son Of God, Jesus Christ.

Why is this important? She is our helpmate. Our Most Sorrowful Mother said Yes! Trusting completely. With Her obedience, we are blessed to have the Love of God come to earth. We have always had our Heavenly Fathers love. How can I say this? If God had given up on us, His Children, He would not have sent us Our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Many do not know this perfect peace, but they know football! God does get the word out. He, Our Heavenly Father does not give up on us. We give up on Him. He does test our patience. Thereby, many choose not to trust and leave prayer behind. God is always waiting for us. The Grace of God the Father is a real experience. Peace in all we do. We choose God first. In choosing God first, we grow in faith. The power of prayer cannot be measured. Only God can open our hearts. We, have free will’. We become so filled with peace when Our Lord is invited into our hearts that it cannot be explained.

The Blessed Virgin Mary, saying Yes, changed the world. This young Virgen, was chosen by God, and a Angel appeared to Her. The rest is History as we say. The Most Holy Blessed Virgen Mary is shared by our Savior to His brothers and sisters in the world. Yet, many choose to disbelieve. Our Savior loves His Mother so much, that He wants all to know the beauty of her perfect love. Our Mother Mary, is not a replacement to Jesus, but an advocate for our Savior. She, answers prayer, through advocating with the prayerful. In this famous football act, God got the word out. Be assured, Many asked, what did He mean, ‘call it a Hail Mary Pass’.

Many had no clue, but wanted to know. So, be assured many came to know God,’ by this one act of obedience. This football player knew it was a ‘Grace from God. A gift He never expected. God delighted in blessing this football player for His humility in recognizing He did not do it alone. The Love of God is always at work.

Are we paying attention to the Love of God in our midst? Are we empowered with ourselves? Are we so arrogant we do not know our life is a gift? God is love. He is always waiting for our thanks and praise, and unconditional love.

God Bless us everyone!
