CRAVINGS

Have you ever been so in love that you craved to see that person?  Craving someone or something is incessant.   If it is love, it can hurt.    Hurt without end.   Being in love is lovely if that love is returned and enjoyed.    However, we know how it hurts to be without.   Being in love and being rejected is painful beyond all telling.   This pain can only be understood if it is or has been experienced.

Rejection often times brings on anger.    Do you think Jesus felt rejected?   Do you think He felt hurt?  Do you think Jesus felt anger?

The man was human.    His spirit divine.   So, do you think He still feels?

Though not given much thought today, He still is.   He still feels and still knows.

Until we think of Our Lord as man, we can not recognize Him as one of us.

Perhaps you will say that is blasphemous.    Yet, Jesus went to great lengths to befriend us.

His friendship is rejected by most.    No time. No need, No reason.

Hurt?    Maybe.     Maybe when you hurt you can think of Him.   He tried ,cried, and died!   All for what?   Does He matter to you?    Do you know that you matter to Him?   He will go to find just one of us.     That friend is you.   He is the best friend you will ever have, know, and serve.     Rejection is choice.    Calling on Him to come into your heart is the greatest gift you will ever receive, and the greatest gift you can give.

No greater love has a man, than to lay down his life for his friend.   He is your friend.   Are you His?   Only if He hears from you can you know Him.

Cravings.   They come in all forms.
