What does it take to be ‘close’ to someone? Relationships come and go. We meet many people throughout our lives and give little thought to whom or why. Yet, the impact that is left is always thought-provoking…numerous times people portray themselves as something they are not…living a lie!
When we touch each others life, we are leaving behind a story. We are indeed leaving an impression that will last a lifetime. Then once written (lived) the dice has been cast, and there is no turning back.
However, in the course of this life, this ‘story’ we have been given to write, we will, whether we realize it or not, leave an impression that is irrevokable!
We are all held accountable. We did not put ourselves here. We do not have final say…God decides!
He is indeed the author of this, His book. We are His characters within His novel, and He is allowing us to use the pen, His Pen!!
This is life! This is reality! God Rules!
So I ask you, ‘How much is too much?’ How much is to much to give to a God that gave everything, and still gives, everything even now.
Would you be the first to step up and say, “Here is My Son, He will Save Your Son so he may live”? Would you or I be so loving and so forgiving as to allow others to continually take and take and take and ignore what our son did to save their son?
Though on a different plane, Heaven is on earth! We have been given a chance to know heaven; yet we ignore this great love.
Many believe they already have great love. I say, if you say that you are a ‘fool’! The greatest love of all is the ‘love of Jesus Christ’! He is infinite! To say otherwise is to maintain having reached the depth of Christ the King!! Because Jesus is God in the second Person, we have so much to learn, for the Father and Holy Spirit are also there. The experience of the “HOLY TRINITY” can not reach its ultimate level for God is infinite!
I do not mean to imply that the levels of love for God Our Father and the Love of Jesus Christ the Son, in union with the Holy Spirit can not reach a greater height, it can.
Yet, we can never ever get enough of the “HOLY TRINITY”! For that is to say, love has a limit, and we know love is infinite. It keeps growing!
Love and ‘in love’ are entirely different. The feeling, the experience, and the emotion are on different levels.
Many mistake loving for ‘being in love’. With so many different levels of love, there is no way, we can reach fufillment.
Book of Hebrews: Chapter: 3 verses: 1-14 Chapter 5 verses 11-14
1″ Therefore, holy brothers who share a heavenly calling, fix your eyes on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we acknowledge in faith, 2 who was faithful to him who appointed him. Moses too, “was faithful in all God’s household,” 3 but Jesus is more worthy of honor than he, as the founder of a house is more honorable than the house itself. 4 Every house is founded by someone, but God is the founder of all. 5 Moses “was faithful in all God’ s household” as a servant charged with the task of witnessing to what would be spoken; 6 but Christ was faithful as the Son placed over God’s house. It is we who are that house if we hold fast to our confidence and the hope of which we boast.”
Israels’ Infideltiy a Warning. 7 Wherefore, as the Holy Spirit says:
“Today, if you should hear his voice, 8 harden not your hearts as at the revolt in the day of testing in the desert, 9 When your fathers tested and tried me, and saw my works 10 for forty years. Because of this I was angered with that generation and I said, ‘They have always been of erring heart, and have never known my ways.’ 11 Thus I swore in my anger, ‘They sahll never enter into my rest.’ ”
12 “Take care, my brothers, lest any of you have an evil and unfaithful spirit and fall away from the living God. 13 Encourage one another daily while it is still “today”, so that no one grows hardened by the deceit of sin. 14 We have become partners of Christ only if we maintain to the end that confidence with which we began.”
Chapter 5 verse 11-14: Exhortation to Spiritual Renewal:
11 “About this we have much to say, and it is difficult to explain, for you have become deaf, 12 Although by this time you should be teaching others, you need to have someone teach you again the basic elements of the oracles of God; you need milk, not solid food. 13 Everyone whose food is milk alone is ignorant of the word that sanctifies, for he is a child. 14 Solid food is for the mature, for those whose faculties are trained by practice to disguish good from evil.”
Book of John Chapter 21 vers 15-17 Jesus Speaks:
15 When they had eaten their meal, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” At which Jesus said, “feed my lambs.” 16 A second time he put his question, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” “Yes, Lord, ” Peter said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus replied, “Tend my sheep. ” 17 A third time Jesus asked him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because he had asked a third time, ” Do you love me?” So he said to him: Lord, you know everything. You know well that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.”
