HOW EASY IS IT?

If you can count to ten, then you can count to seven, and if you can do that, then you have what it takes!

What it takes is remembering :   Remember, the ‘Ten Commandments, the Seven Deadly Sins, and then the summation of it all :  The ‘Lord’s Prayer!

In the original set of rules, there were only Ten!  It  should have been easy enough, so why wasn’t it?

Then, Jesus came along and said it simpler yet; He brought it down to Seven, concise, and very literally definite ‘disobedience’s’!    Still not so easy, even at Seven!

So, then after all that,  someone asked Him how to pray.    So Jesus, wise, The Son of God, told them!    Even at that, how much reflection is given to what the words mean.    Jesus summed living up in a few words;  One prayer!     The Prayer, sums up life, and when each thought is given an applied, we realize it is the summation of the Ten Commandments, and the Seven Deadly Sins!    He said, ‘Do this’ and you will live.    Jesus, the Only Son of The Living God, spoke under the direction of the ‘Holy Spirit’ in accordance with the Father’s will.    ( The Holy Trinity, present, ‘The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.)    Because Christ is the Second Person in the Holy Trinity, the perfections of His teachings can not be matched!

The ‘Lord’s Prayer’ does not need explaining, but to compare it to the Ten Commandments, and the Seven Deadly Sins, we can see most clearly, Christ was defining, life in one prayer; that is why the ‘Lord’s Prayer’ stands still today!

‘Our Father, Who art in Heaven, Hallowed by thy name,’ (Keep His name Holy, and refrain from using it out of context, For we  know, and believe  ( not  taking His name  in vain, should be used only in praise and prayer, adoration and love.)

‘Thy Kingdom come Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.’   (Live life on earth as if you were in heaven.   God is love, and love of God is first in Heaven, and should be first on earth.   Thereby earth will be filled with God’s gladness, and God’s blessings, just as heaven;because The Heavenly Father’s will is before our own.)

‘Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us’.   (Ask God daily, for His blessings for us, in food, and monetary means, Jesus connotation of bread is food and money; (cast your bread upon the waters, Old Testament)).  Asking for forgiveness and realizing we have offended God, and neighbor.   Thereby becoming humble before our God, and praising Him in His greatness and love.)

‘And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen   (Realizing with our whole hearts and minds that we can not do it alone, we must ask God for help and do ask God for His help to recognize evil and stay far from it.    Once again praising God for His greatness and love, by putting Him first above all things!) Amen   (this being everything is final, and blessed by God)

Book of Ecclesiastes: Chapter 1 verse 1-2

1)”Cast  your   bread upon the waters; after a long time you may find it again.   2) Make seven or eight portions; you know not what misfortune may come upon the earth.”

Book of Romans: Chapter 12 verses 17-21

17)”Never  repay injury with injury.   See that your conduct is honorable in the eyes of all.   18)   If possible, live peaceably with everyone.   19)   Beloved, do not avenge yourselves; leave that to God’s wrath, for it is written: “‘Vengeance is mine; I will repay,’ says the Lord.”   20) But “If  your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; by doing this you will heap burning coals upon his head.”   21) do not be conquered by evil but conquer evil with good.”

Book of Mark: Chapter 7 verses 21-23 Jesus Speaks:

21) “Wicked designs come from the deep recesses of the heart: acts of fornication, theft, murder, 22) adulterous conduct, greed, maliciousness, deceit, sensuality, envy, blasphemy, arrogance, and obtuse spirit.   23) All these evils come from within and render a man  impure.”

Book of Matthew: chapter 6:  verses 9-15  Jesus Speaks:

9) ” This is   how you are to pray : ‘Our Father  in heaven, hallowed by your name, 10) your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.   11) Give us today our daily bread,    12) and forgive us the wrong we have done as we forgive those who wrong us.   13) Subject us not to the trial but deliver us from the evil one.’   14 ” If you forgive the fault of others, your heavenly Father will forgive you yours.   15) If you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive you.”
