FINDING FAULT

It doesn’t matter you know?    It is easy to say it doesn’t matter, but indeed it does.

The course of life is directed by our thoughts.    It does matter what we think.   For if we don’t concern ourselves with the purity of our thoughts, then how can our lives have purity of heart?

We each matter to God.   Each soul is a piece of gold unrefined!   Who can see himself  for who He is?

We can not!   We can not see the impact we have on each life by touching it.    We can not understand the magnificence of who we each are until we come to believe!

Our LORD gives us insight into the spirit of who we are!     The beauty of who HE desires us to be!   No not all the answers, but a ‘light’ of understanding!   Much like any light fills a room, so does understanding fill the heart!

Understanding is indeed a ‘light’ unto its self!      This  happens when we open ourselves up to the LORD!    For it is HIS to give!   It can not be taken!   He is a the ‘all encompassing God’!

We are only a thought!   We are HIS thought!

That is why we are here!   Because in HIS infinite grace HE thought of us!   HE desired to breathe life into each of us, and give us ‘free will’ or free reign if you will, to see if we will run wild, or submit to instruction!

The world is full of instruction!   People all over are glorifying themselves, instructing and directing others!   Taking great delight in their ‘knowledge’ and ‘power’!   Embellishing themselves to the point of arrogance!

Arrogance is very difficult to take.   When in the company of one who ‘exults’ himself, it is like being given ‘sour milk’; you desire to remove the taste.    So you desire to remove yourself from the presence of the person.

When one stands before many and acclaims himself to ‘greatness’ and lists his ‘qualities’ rather than simply stating, the gifts he has been given with humility; people walk away feeling uncomfortable.

I knew a man once who achieved ‘great wealth’ and was not remiss in mentioning it to others.    They even had a ‘race horse’.    He  eventually He lost it all.

For glory goes to God!   He is the only one worthy of glory!   No one here has done anything without HIS grace allowing it.   He allows, and when HE allows it happens!   Yet, He also waits to see if He will be given the ‘thanks, the praise, and the glory!

Book of Isaiah  chapter 13 verses   11-13  Arrogance:

11)”Thus I will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their guilt.   I will put an end to the pride of the arrogant, the insolence of tyrants I will humble.   12) I will make mortals more rare than pure gold, men, than gold of Ophir.   13)  For this I will make the heavens tremble and the earth shall be shaken from its place, At the wrath of the LORD of hosts on the day of his burning anger.”

Book of Luke Chapter 18 verse 14  (The Pharisee and the Tax Collector) Jesus Speaks:

14) “Believe me, this man went home from the temple justified but the other did not.   For everyone who exalts himself shall be humbled while he who humbles himself shall be exalted.”

The God that gave His Son as a ransom for us all, did so with an exclamation point!!

To make life essential is to have faith!    Life without faith, is like as the wild gelding, it knows not where it will stand, but will run on, but to what end?

We are Gods children!   Each one of us matters!

Denial, is the cowards way out!     Satan’s way is the whispering of those words in your ear, ‘it doesn’t matter’!    It does!  It is life.    The difference between living and dying!

When the light of Christ is ‘turned on’ then it illuminates the soul!    It is an experience!

Believing, is not an idea, it is a way of life!

Book of  Sirach: Chapter 2  verses 1-6

1)” My son, when you come to serve the Lord, prepare yourself for trials.    2) Be sincere  of heart and steadfast, undisturbed in time of adversity.   3)Cling to him, forsake him not; thus will your future be great.   4)  Accept whatever befalls you, in crushing misfortune be patient;   5)For in fire gold is tested, and worthy men in crucible of humiliation.   6)Trust God and he will help you; make straight your ways and hope in him.”
