GUILT

When the flesh and the spirit collide, there is confusion. Confusion often times brings forth anger.    For the soul that clings to the spirit, still must walk in the flesh daily.   The conflict of the two opposing forces are a battle of wills daily.

A Christ filled person can only deter the desires of the flesh through desire of the spirit over the flesh.   For the flesh is a craving that resides daily!   Whereas the spirit must be manifested through prayer, and supplication.    This is why we have ‘free will’!    For to remain in the flesh is to oppose the will of God.   God, is in all things, yet, it is He who waits for us.   His desire to teach us the ‘greater good’!    The ‘greater good,’ the trust we put in God above ourselves.   This is rising out of the ‘flesh filled’ into the ‘spirit filled’ !   For once having chosen the spirit, the journey of this life, becomes enlightened.    We then through the power of the ‘Holy Spirit’ are awakened.    Anything else is asleep within us.

The conflict of the flesh and spirit bring forth a piercing of the soul encountering the rumblings within.    So combative are these two againist each other, that the anger that arises is the unrest within.    The soul is crying out for the truth.   When the flesh desires the untruth, the spirit, crys to be heard.    The spirit, though not realized by many, is the driviing force to life.   When the life is stifled through lack of forgiveness, and ‘ill-will’ against thy neighbor, then turbulance ensues.

We can see conflict all around us.   The conflict within broken homes, broken marriages, and sibling rivary.   Wherever, the conflict is, they soul has been stifled.   For the love of Christ is the peace that crys out to be heard.    His perfect love, by a violent death, death on a cross; proves that above all cost, forgiveness is love.    For without foregivenss there is no love, where there is no love there is no life.    For to live, one must love.   For love is eternal.

A gulity conscience will then arise.   Often times a person will not consider why they feel as they do, but will only realize they feel ‘depressed’!    This is what the stifling of the spirit ensues.   Why?   Because we are all made in the image and of the love of God.   He is within us.    Yet, because free-will rears its ugly head we do not choose to realize the truth.

The combat between ‘good and evil’ is constant.   We can only achieve a fullness of life, when we choose to embrace the ‘love of God’!  Many have the misconception that the embracing of God is simply knowing He is!  Nothing could be more wrong!   God is a person!    He, who gave us life, wishes to hear from those He gave life to.   You, and I!

We by choosing God,  attain the ‘Grace of God’!

What is the grace of God?   AHH!   The Grace of God, is the experiencing of His Holy Hand moving your life with such peace and tranquility, that no matter what is happening around you, you feel and know He has you.   He, the almighty who loves us so completly, that He shared His very self with us… His beautiful Son Jesus.

So  next time the rumblings of confusion arise, and anger seems to want to overtake you, stop and reflect.   Ask yourself why?   For it is recongizing the truth, that we grow in the light of Christ.

The Epistle of Paul to the Ephesians: Chapter 5  verses 8-21

“Duty to Live in the Light”

8)There was a time when you were in darkness, but now you are light in the Lord.    Well, then, live as children of the light.   9)Light produces every kind of goodness and justice and truth.  10)Be correct in your judgment of what pleases the Lord.   11)  Take no part in vain deeds done in darkness; rather, condemn them.   12)It is shameful even to mention the things these people do in secret; 13) but when such deeds are condemned they are seen in the light of the day, and all that then appears is light  of day, and all that then appears is light .   14)That is why we read:”Awake, O sleeper, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”   15)Keep careful watch over your conduct.   Do not act like fools, but like thoughtful men.   16)Make the most of the present opportunity, for these  are evil days.   17)Do not continue in ignorance, but try to discern the will of the Lord. 18)Avoid getting drunk on wine;  that leads to debauchery.    Be filled with the Spirit, 19) addressing one another in psalms and hymns and inspired songs.   Sing praise to the Lord with all your hearts.  20)   Give thanks to God the Father always and for everything in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.   21) Defer to one another out of reverence for Christ.
