Stand up and be heard! Have you stopped to realize that we empower ourselves when we stand up?
When we have conviction of spirit, we are compelled to stand up and be heard! The cause and effect of standing in and of itself speaks volumes.
When two people profess to marry they ‘stand up’. When one speaks on behalf of another, he ‘stands up’. When one appears before a judge, one ‘stands up’. If two oppose each other in theory the argument that ensues usually ends in a ‘face-off’- ‘standing up’ for the stated position.
‘Stand up’ and be heard! We are living in times of great upheaval and complacency has become the norm. For it seems they who wish to be heard are not the righteous, but the evil.
Evil is everywhere! How does one fight evil? Evil is opposing to God and if we do not ‘stand up’ and protest evil, we are refusing to ‘stand up’ for God! God ‘stood up’ for us! He, appointed his chosen and they’ stood’ up on behalf of him, so that we could know the ‘Glory of the Lord’!
Why is it today, we find that is not the norm. Why is it prayer, the practice of loving one another through acts of compassion and forgivness are less prevalent? It is true you know. People act almost uncomfortable when one professes Christ. I have seen this on different occasions, where it becomes very quiet when one speaks on behalf of Jesus? Stop and consider this with me….if people believe in something, do they not ‘stand up’ on behalf of the conviction of their spirit? So where are you in all of this?
Do you have a conviction of spirit? It is most amazing people will ask me why and how, and what, to become spiritual; yet they do not wish to do the work! To become sprititual to rise outside of the rubble (normal everyday routine), and to want a ‘real life,’ spirituality is the only answer. However to ‘stand up’ and profess the love of God seems to be lacking today.
‘Stand up’ and rise out of the rubble and choose spirituality, and you will find yourself enlightened, and refreshed and renewed.
For, the love of God is present in the believer and the unbeliever alike. The difference is the believer professes the light and in so doing becomes the light. Why? He has chosen to become enlightened by the Holy Spirit! The Power of God resides therein. If you can not and or will not ‘stand up’ for God, then you are indeed empowering yourself above God. For God is from whom we get our life. Eternally we share in this great love, when we profess the love of God through Jesus his Son.
So, why should you put yourself out there on behalf of God? After all God loves you as you are, right? True! However, God wants you to be the best you that you can be, and that friend only comes when God becomes first! True, we can achieve and not be spiritual, yet, to what end? For whom are you doing it? It becomes empty and devoid of purpose without the love of God as its benefactor. In other words when the work you do is for the Glory of God, and your greatest desire is to know He is pleased and that pleases you, and that is all you ever wanted, then and finally then you will reap the rewards of a full and fruitful life.
Life without God is life without purpose!
Stand up and be heard! For the love of God eminates from and through those who speak on behalf of Him!
Book of Luke: Chapter 16 verse 13 Jesus speaks
13) “No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other or be attentive to the one and despise the other. You can not give yourself to God and money.”
