Whether ‘big’ or ‘small’ hurts remain. We can at any age, agree that ‘hurts’ are the same for each of us. We all experience pain. Regardless of our age or our circumstances, it is absolute. Pain, sorrow, and anguish, are a part of our lives. We are born, and pain is immediate. It is for each and to different degrees, but nonethless, it hurts! If one does not hurt, one has no heart! For the heart that bleeds for another, is a ‘pure heart’ indeed!
A heart that is pure, has compassion! Compassion is the ‘love of God’ in the heart of the soul that hurts! We can not run from it, for the heart that loves, is the soul that lives! For if the soul does not experience hurt, it can not grow in faith!
Faith is everything! To know the love of a Father is to know love! For His Love is Pure! His love is what deems us to be who we are! Yet, many stray from this perfect love! Being held accountable is a part of living. Whether we pay now with our atonements or later, we all will pay. For sins are an absolute in this life, and we all are guilty! Whether we wish to ‘fess up’ or not, the facts remain! Sinners are we!! Contrary and wanting to believe we are better than our neighbor, we are not! Gods pure love makes us equal! !
There is no place in heaven for the arrogant and self-rightous, the scriptures confirm it. For this is the hardened heart. No hurt can be felt, and no love can be realized, no forgiveness can be found.
The state of the heart friend!
It all goes to the state of the heart!
Indeed, it is our hearts that HE wants! So, if you really want to know the truth, look within your heart, and be honest with yourself. For if hate and spite are there, and envy, and lust, and gluttony, covetous, and pride, anger, and sloth, there is indeed work to be done! For there are none among us who do not have at least one of these seven deadly sins! This is why HE came! The reason for the season is the birth of the Savior of the World!
The flesh and the spirit oppose one another. So we are at times in conflict within ourselves. So when we strive for holiness, and crave Christ, the sins of the flesh will at times tempt us. That is why Jesus came! He conquered sin! To dispute this, is to dispute the life of Christ and is blasphemy! The man was here, the man died here, and the man rose here. He proved to the whole world His perfect love by rising from the dead and conquering sin, and death!
When a soul decides there is more to this life than the air we breathe, then the spirit is rising and ‘crying’ to be nourished. That nourishment is prayer.
Without prayer the soul thirsts, and it only becomes refreshed when the spirit of God is recognized and praised!
Book of Sirach: Chapter 17 verses 17-18
17)”A mans goodness God cherishes like a signet ring, a mans virtue, like the apple of His eye. 18)Later, He will rise up and repay them, and requite each one of them as they deserve.”
