From the dawn of time patience has been. It is absolute! Wisdom is with he who learns patience. For patience is a requirement of God!![virgin-mary-pics-1111[1]](https://tohearfrometernity.blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/virgin-mary-pics-11111.jpg?w=300&h=225)
God, through -out the Holy Bible instructs His children in patience! When the ‘flesh’ tires of waiting on the desires of God, calamity strikes! This may not reveal itself for what it is right away; but ‘God never forgets'(another topic of writing within this blog) and He will outlast us every time!
When we choose to do our will, and live by our designs for our lives; He waits! He in His infinite wisdom, trys us! In other words, He allows conflicts to awaken us, to cause us to look toward Him, instead of ourselves for answers! Wisdom! God is wisdom! You can not buy wisdom, it is infinite! God gives it to those who trust in His ways! When called upon and asked for God does not disappoint! It is awsome! For He does not always give us what we ask for, but rather gives us what is better! The majesty of God, may allow it to be seen as a disappointment at first, but remaining steadfast and trusting, it reveals itself for the desires of our hearts, way beyond our greatest expectations!
So, the desire impressed upon your heart, when you are in communion with God through prayer, is because the most HOLY SPIRIT (one of the three persons of the Father, the Holy Trinity:’The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) has come upon you! This perfect love is available to all, but few desire it, and find it!
In the days of old, from the Book of Genesis through out history, the instruction of Our Holy Father God, has been patience! This is the binding of the relationship of God to man! For without this, we can not know the Father! He draws us in! It is His desire that proves itself for the majesty He is! When we stray, we are called to His side! Often times, when this occurrs, it may make us feel He has abandoned us! This is where ‘patience’ is called upon! For God Never Forgets!
From the dawn of time, God has instructed us in the diligence of patience. When impatience was found, catastrophy struck.
God found favor with Abel rather than Caine, God instructed
Cain to be patient and persevere, to remain far from ‘evil’ for evil waits. Cain did not want to wait to win God’s favor, and took it upon himself to Kill his brother. This offended God and God banished Cain, so that his work would never be fruitful.(The story of Cain and Abel : Book of Genesis Chapter 4 verses 1-16) or In this blog under ‘favorites’ the story of the two brothers.
Another case of impatience with God: Chapter 15 of Genesis: God’s covanant with Abraham. Verses – 5)”He (God)took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars, if you can, Just so, “He added, “shall your decendants be.” Verse 18: “It was on that occasion that the Lord made a covenant with Abram , saying: “to your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to the Great River(the Euphrates),….)
Chapter 16 Birth Of Ishmael: Verses 1-4 verse 12
Having grown impatient with God: 1 )”Abram’s wife Sarai had borne him no children. She had, however, an Egypian maidservant named Hagar. 2) Sarai said to Abram: “The Lord has kept me from bearing Children. Have intercourse, then, with my maid; perhaps I shall have sons through her.: Abram heeded Sarai’s request.3)Thus, after Abram had lived ten years in the land of Canaan, his wife Sarai took her maid, Hagar the Egyptian, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his concubine. 4)He had intercourse with her, and she became pregnant. When she became aware of her pregnancy, she looked upon her mistress with disdain.”
12)”He shall be a wild ass of a man, his hand against everyone, and everyones hand against him; In opposition to all his kin shall he encamp”
Birth of Isaac Chapter 21 verses 1-5
1)” The Lord took note of Sarah as he had said he would; he did for her as he had promised. 2) Sarah became pregnant and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time that God had stated. 3) Abraham gave the name Isaac to this son of his whom Sarah bore him. 4)When his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him as God had commanded. 5)Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.”
The beginning of wisdom ” Book Of Sirach verses 10-11
10)”He who finds wisdom is great indeed, but not greater than he who fears the LORD. 11) Fear of the LORD surpasses all else, its possessor is beyond comapare.”
Through out time, God has instructed His children in wisdom. Patience, being one of the twelve fruits of the’Holy Spirit’! In the Book of Sirach Chapter 2 verses 1-6 and verse 11
1)”My Son, when you come to serve the Lord, prepare yourself for trials. 2)Be sincere of heart and steadfast, undisturbed in time of adversity. 3) Cling to him, forsake him not; thus will your future be great. 4)Accept whatever befalls you, in crushing misfortune be patient; 5) For in fire gold is tested, and worthy men in the crucible of humiliation, 6) Trust God and he will help you; make straight your ways and hope in him.”
11)”Compassionate and merciful is the Lord; he forgives sins, he saves in time of trouble.”
The Book of Genesis is the First Book of the Holy Bible and teaches us of Gods plan for mankind. The Holy Bible holds countless stories of the hand of God at work with His Children. If you desire to know more of the Love Of God, then puchase a most Holy Bible. For then the beginning of wisdom will take root. For the Bible is the living word of God. The Old and New Testaments are an enlightening of the mind and heart of God Our Father through Jesus Christ His Son, in union with the most Holy Spirit of God the Father. The experience is real. Do not shy away but be courageous in the spirit, and God will not disappoint, but fulfill and make you whole. (the New American Catholic Bible, has all the testaments and words of our Lord.)
Within the New Testament, you will remember when Mary was to give birth to Jesus, she and Joseph did not find room in the Inn. Rather, Joseph persevered to find the ‘stable’. For God so desired this, that man would know that the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, was like all men.
Here again, the God of us all, proves the spirit with patience. Though Mary and Joseph were holy, and appointed by God, He still proved the spirit with patience.
For God shows Himself in majesty when we persevere in patience. He adorns us with a crown of favor. For His delight is to bless His children. He loves us so, that as a person who is a Father on earth instructs his child to fulfill a task before he is given an ‘allowance’ so does God instruct us to do for Him, before an ‘allowance’ is given. Not because God is unloving, and not because the Father on earth is unloving but rather to teach, enlighten, and enrich the ‘child’ of the love of the Father. For the Fathers instruction teaches, respect, patience, persevernce, and faith, hope and charity. The wisdom of God Our Father, is all encompassing. For everything He sends, He teaches. So above our thinking is our Heavenly
Father, that only through the instruction of the Holy Spirit, can we come to a deeper understanding of this great love.
The examples here-in are meant to be an awakening to the spirit. For God proves with time! He reveals in time. Only in staying in steadfastness to the love of God can we reach perfection. Perfection which is of the Father, through His Son Jesus Christ, in union with the Holy Spirit, One God forever and ever! AMEN!
Luke Chapter 2 verse7)
7)”She gave birth to her first-born son and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the place where travelers lodged.”
