Ahh! The Ocean! If you have never seen the ocean you can not fathom its vastness! It takes your breath away! People who live by the ocean accept it a common place. So it is-to some degree. Yet, when you have never experienced the ocean, you can not do its magnificense justice. I grew up in the midwest. We only heard about the ocean. We saw pictures and imagined it. Yet, to really see it, to really experience the vastness of its size is beyond all human understanding. So it is with the love of God! He is so vast and so magnificent that to think one knows
God, one can only fool himself. For the love of the heavenly Father is so profound that when you come to Him and ‘Give’ your heart to Him, he continues to draw you in with more graces and and more blessings that humanly fathonable. Ah yes, the great scholars and the learned of the teachings of scripture, they are marvelous indeed. Their gifts supersede all understanding. Some are so wonderful you can not get enough of their knowledge. Yet, this is a gift! It is the ‘Gift of the Holy Spirit’! Jesus Christ Himself, brought forth this magificent gift. It was another of His many gifts to us. Yet, to understand the gift of the ‘Holy Spirit’ is to say, you know all things. It is not possiable. For God is the Father of the ‘Holy Spirit’! He stands with the dawn of time and it is He that determines who is worthy of this great gift. I say this because, all are welcome to it, but very few are thirsting for it! For if they were, they would change their ways. Yet, it is time that dicatates everything. God is in charge of time. There is no getting away from God, friend. He is and always will be! You and I will always be also. Why? Because once the breath of life is breathed into each of us, it is God who gives it, and God does not go back on His word, like man does. Since, the ‘soul’ is eternal, then we must all decide where we wish to spend eternity. Jesus Christ the mediator, between God and man is ther bridge to eternal life. There is no changing the facts friend! You can argue the point with me or someone else, yet, the truth is of Christ. The truth will always be. Just as Jesus the Son of God will always be. The air you breathe is from God and if you choose to recognize this, you must also realize, the soul, is His as well. If it is spoiled from sin and remains unclean without the ‘blood of Christ’ to purify it, then God will not be pleased to allow it into His kingdom. His heart breaks to turn anyone away. Yet, Jesus would have died in vain, if an impure spirit were worthy of the kingdom of God.
If you have ever seen a new snow fall, you then know the brightness of fresh snow. It is blinding. Sun-glasses are needed! So, imagine coffee on a pure snow fall. It turns ‘ugly’ real fast! Ugly to behold. When once one could look and say, ‘how beautiful!’ So it is with mankind, impure and stained from sin, temptations! ‘Free Will’ separates man from God. Once a soul realizes God is the lover of the soul, he comes to the Lord. This act of humility is pleasing to God. For God delights in a humble spirit. ‘A haughty spirit goes before a fall.’ (taken from Proverbs). The Love of God is Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He lives out the teachings of the Father for the sake of all mankind. To embrace Jesus Christ is to love God! For Jesus died so that all may live. One Spirit in Christ, is the Fathers desire. For they are one! The Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, are and always will be.
Consider this from the Book of James: Chapter 4 verses4-10
4 “O you unfaithful ones, are you not aware that love of the world is enmity to God? A man is marked out as God’s enemy if he chooses to be the ‘worlds friend.’ 5)Do you suppose it is to no purpose that Scripture says, “The Spirit he has implanted in us tends toward jealousy”? 6)Yet, he bestows a greater gift, for the sake of which it is written,
“God resists the proud but bestows his favor on the lowly.”
7) Therefore submit to God; resist the devil and he will take flight. 8) Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, you backsliders. 9)Begin to lament, to mourn, and to weep; let your laughter be turned into sorrow. 10)Be humbled in the sight of the Lord and he will raise you on high.”
